World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 13-16 February 2014: Internal refugees on the rise under U.S. occupation! Karzai orders Obama to “respect us”! India backs Karzai! Another U.S. helicopter down!

Balk Province: In Shortapa District, 13 U.S.-NATO-ISAF  trained Afghan National Army troops joined the Mujahideen.

Farah Province: In Bala Baluk District, reports that a ten years old boy was killed by government troops.

Faryab Province: In Qisar District, 25 cops and military personnel joined the Mujahideen.

Helmand Province:  A USMC special ops Master Sergeant from Kentucky was killed by explosion.  In Marjah District, reports that a man riding a motorcycle was killed by a missile strike from a U.S. drone (UAV).   In Musa Kala District, reports that Mujahideen repelled a U.S. led heliborne operation.  Reports also say the invaders began taking civilians as human shields once the Mujahideen started kicking their asses.  In Babaji District, reports that Afghan National Army troops killed three people in an Israeli style home invasion.

Kandahar Province: In Shahwali Kot District, yet another U.S.-NATO-ISAF helicopter made an “emergency landing”, according to ISAF.  However, yet again Mujahideen say the helicopter went down after they attacked it.  Mujahideen say the ‘copter was a OH-58D Kiowa.  In Kandahar City, a city employee was killed while he was watering shrubbery along the city street.  Apparently someone put a landmine in among the bushes the gardener was watering.  The new National Agriculture Science and Technology University was opened. It was built with funding from the taxpayers of India.  In Hisarak District, 16 U.S.-NATO-ISAF  trained Afghan National Army troops joined the Mujahideen.

Kapisa Province: In Tagab District, reports that U.S. special ops forces kidnapped the district governor and the local police chief.  It might be in connection to a recent Green on Blue attack, which left two U.S. Special Forces soldiers dead.

Khost Province: In Mosa Khel District, cops shot and killed a teenager.  They claimed he was a suicide bomber.

Kunduz Province: In Khanabad District, an Afghan National Police convoy was hit by an explosion.  Cops say they suffered no casualties, but two civilians were killed, and eight wounded.

Maidan Wardak Province:  In Syed Abad District, reports that government forces destroyed people’s motorcycles.  In the same district reports that a U.S. drone (UAV) killed two people.

The United Nations reports that there are at least 630-thousand Afghans being forced to live as “internal” refugees under the U.S. occupation.  UN High Commissioner for Refugees also reports that every year there is a 22% increase in Internally-Displaced Persons.  It’s blamed on the fact that despite 12+ years of occupation by the United States the average Afghan is suffering from increased insecurity and lack of employment.

President Hamid Karzai demanded that the Obama regime “stop harassing Afghanistan’s procedures and judicial authority” and “respect Afghanistan’s sovereignty”.

The Indian government has expressed support for President Karzai, in refusing to sign the Obama regime’s so called “security” deal.  India has invested at least $2-billion USD in Afghanistan.  The External Affairs Minister of India, Salman Khurshid, also reported that “We are giving them helicopters and we will be supplying them very soon…….will be able to upgrade and refurbish their transport aircraft…..Afghanistan is very special….”

150 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s 1710th Transportation Company, 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group (Virginia) returned home from Afghanistan.

190 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s 226th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (Alabama) returning home from Afghanistan.

More than 200 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s 437th Military Police Battalion (Ohio) returning home from Afghanistan.

110 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s 144th Infantry Regiment (Texas) returned home from Afghanistan.

About 15 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s 168th Aviation Regiment (California) returned home from Afghanistan.

154 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s 276th Engineer Company (Missouri) deploying to Afghanistan.

The Army National Guard’s 1/230th Air Cavalry Squadron (Tennessee) deploying to Afghanistan.

USAToday revealed that the Obama regime was going to spend more U.S. taxes on propaganda promoting USAID ops in Afghanistan.  The propaganda was going to be aimed at Afghans, to convince they are better off under U.S. occupation.  An unnamed government source said it’s been put on hold because “The wording of the (request) did not appropriately articulate that purpose and is being re-evaluated.”  USAID has already spent more than $1-billion in Afghanistan.

World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 14-17 December 2013: More drone strikes! Security deal with India! More cops join Mujahideen! Increased child sex crimes under U.S. control!

Ghazni Province: In Andar District, Afghan National Army (ANA) reports battles with Mujahideen.  The ANA says at least eight of the Mujahideen they killed are from Pakistan.

Helmand Province: Camp Bastion, Bilderberg British empire Prime Minister, David Cameron, vowed that the British empire will stay in Afghanistan because only a basic level of security had been achieved. In Sangin District, government officials are investigating reports that Afghan National Police have willingly turned over at least three check points to Mujahideen!

Herat Province: In Obe District, an ANA soldier shot and killed two other ANA troops.  ANA officials say the shootout lasted several hours and the instigator was also killed.

Kandahar Province: A motorcycle bomb exploded in a market place on the boarder with Pakistan. Two people killed, six wounded.

Kapisa Province: In Nijrab District, Mujahideen claim to have repelled an Israeli style home invasion by U.S. led troops. They say they killed six of the invaders.  Two Mujahideen were killed.

Kunar Province: In Chapa Dara Ditrict, two people killed after the vehicle they were in drove over a landmine. In Shigal District, four people killed and one wounded when they drove over a landmine.  Mujahideen claim they’ve killed two members of the U.S. led Counter-terrorism Pursuit Team. They also say one Mujahid was killed in the firefight.

Nangarhar Province: In Lalpoor District, seven people were killed by U.S.-NATO-ISAF drone strike. Of course, government officials said no civilians were killed.  In Torkham City, a suicide bomber blew up inside the National Directorate of Security (Afghan version of Homeland Security) compound.  At least two people killed, three wounded.

Sar-e-Pul Province:  In Asia Abad village, three men were arrested for raping a 17 years old girl. Two other suspects are being sought. The victim is asking the courts to “hang” the men.  This comes as the Independent Human Rights Commission of Afghanistan reports a 28% increase in child rapes in the past year.  The commissioner blamed the increase on corrupt cops and judges.

Zabul Province: Six U.S. Army personnel were killed when their Utility Helicopter-60 Blackhawk crashed. ISAF officials said they are investigating the cause of the crash.  Mujahideen say the incident happened in Shahjoi District, Ibraheem Khelo area, and that they shot the helicopter down as it passed low over a hill.

The Afghan parliament rejected President Hamid Karzai’s request to create seats for religious minorities such as Hindus and Sikhs.

India and Afghanistan have agreed to a new security deal.  Afghan officials presented Indian officials with a wish list for military equipment, and India has agreed to open up positions for Afghans at Indian military academies.

Afghan Foreign Ministry spokesman, Janan Mosazai, said Iran is not supporting anti-government forces.  He said Iran is a good ally of Afghanistan.  Mosazai was responding to accusations against Iran by the governor of Farah Province.

In a separate issue, Mosazai said there is no evidence that Afghans are taking part in the U.S. funded civil war in Syria.

The United Nations International Labour Organization reports that since 2002, 5% of Afghans who escaped the U.S. occupation only to be forced to return, have escaped U.S. occupied Afghanistan again.  Afghans who escaped the hell of U.S. occupation say lack of good paying jobs is their number one reason for leaving.  They also blame the lack of good jobs on the U.S. occupation.

Air National Guard’s 105th Base Defense Squadron, from the U.S. state of New York, returned home from Afghanistan. One of the militia-airmen was killed in Afghanistan.

Air National Guard’s 119th Security Forces Squadron, in the U.S. state of North Dakota, was formerly recognized for their mission in Afghanistan.

200 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, from the U.S. state of Georgia, deploying to Afghanistan.

160 militiamen of the Army National Guard’s 1742nd Transportation Company, from the U.S. state of South Dakota, reported for training to be deployed to Afghanistan.

World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 28-31 October 2013: Australia says war is worth it! India rethinks economic investments! Mujahideen kill 3-thousand people! People forced to vote, with help of U.S.! More rip offs for U.S. taxpayers!

Ghazni Province: In Andar District, villagers beat a man to death.  They accused him of being the one who planted a land mine that exploded when a bus drove over it.  The explosion killed at least 18 women and children.  However, earlier reports by provincial officials said the perpetrator of the land mine was killed during the explosion.

Kandahar Province:  Government cops say they arrested a man armed with an exploding computer.  They say that Pakistani Mujahideen are now packing desk top computers with explosives and sending them into Afghanistan.  On FOB Walton, the Missouri Army National Guard has been training Afghan cops.  One of the courses being taught to Afghan police is how to use computers and the internet.  Another course being taught is enforcing political elections.  That’s strange because I was in the National Guard and I don’t recall ever being activated to enforce elections in the United States.

Paktika Province: In Khair Kot District, a suspected suicide bomber was shot and killed by police.  The cops shot the driver of the car saying he rammed a National Directorate of Security (NDS) building.  But the car exploded anyway and wounded two NDS cops.

Parwan Province: In Charikar City, a fuel supply convoy was set on fire.  City officials say many buildings were damaged when some of the the fueler trucks blew up.

Sar-e-Pul Province: In Kohistanat District, a battle between Mujahideen and Afghan National Army (ANA) troops. At least one Mujahid killed and two ANA troops killed, dozens wounded.  Independent reports say as many as 20 people were killed.  The ANA troops were taking part in a government program to force people to register to vote.

Uruzgan Province: On British empire Aussie controlled Tarin Kowt base, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott declared the war over, but said it was worth it: “Our mission in Afghanistan has been critical to our national security. We have worked to ensure Afghanistan does not again become a safe haven for terrorists and have worked with our allies to make the world a safer place.”

According to the Afghan Interior Ministry, the Mujahideen have killed almost 3-thousand government personnel and civilians in the past seven months.  The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) backs up the claim, saying civilian deaths have increased by 16%.  So much for Obama constantly saying the Mujahideen are decimated.

The government of Afghanistan is going to crack down on the use of boys for homosexual sex.  The Independent Human Rights Commission of Afghanistan (AIHRC) demanded an investigation into the age old practice of Bacha Bazi, or using boys to substitute for sex with women.  Many ignorant elders (who can’t read) have reasoned that it is the only way to remain true to Islamic morals, however it is actually a violation of written Islamic rules.  It’s also interesting that most of the Afghans calling for a stop to Bacha Bazi are women.

According to Reuters, a consortium of Indian companies, which were awarded a contract for the extraction of iron ore in Afghanistan, are now demanding better contract terms from the government of Afghanistan.  Afghanistan’s iron ore reserves, covered under the contract, are estimated to be worth $10.8 billion USD.

According to the U.S. Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), another $100-billion in U.S. taxes are at risk for being stolen.  SIGAR discovered there is no oversight regarding the U.S. taxes that’re to be given to Afghan government forces, supposedly to buy fuel and spare parts.

The British empire’s United Kingdom just pledged another $200-million in U.K. taxes to Afghanistan!  That’s not all, it’s $200-million per year until 2017!  I thought the taxpayers of the U.K. were broke.

World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 24-26 September 2013: More Green on Blue, local U.S. media hides it! U.S. run hospitals actually NAZI killing fields for Afghan victims? U.S. stabs Afghan interpreters in the back! Will Afghanistan kill NATO?

Helmand Province: Lashkargah City, a car bomb exploded.  Not counting the suicide bomber; one cop killed, one cop wounded, four civilians wounded.

Kunduz Province: Khanabad District, local government officials say Mujahideen captured four Afghan National Army (ANA) personnel.

Maidan Wardak Province: Saidabad District, a U.S. airstrike (aka Weapons Release) killed five people.  Provincial government officials say two of those killed were Arabs.

Nangarhar Province: Chaparhar District, a baby girl was born with an almost complete second head!  Two headed children are not as rare as you might think, but successfully removing a second head is.  Doctors said in this case they were successful.

Paktia Province: A U.S. Army Staff Sergeant from Pennsylvania was killed.  Reports are confusing; local Pennsylvania news media has led the people of Milton to believe he was killed in combat, but in reality he was killed by a “Green on Blue” attack by Afghan government military/police personnel (aka National Security Forces).  Another U.S. troop was wounded.  The shooter from the Afghan government was killed.

The Afghan Ministry of the Interior claims 49 Mujahideen killed in police and army ops in the provinces of Helmand, Farah, Herat, Logar, Uruzgan, Zabul, Kandahar, Balkh, Badakhshan and Kunduz.  Eight Mujahideen wounded, 11 captured.

Pakistan says another artillery rocket attack was launched against them, from Afghanistan.  Two people killed, one wounded.

The U.S. Department of State has been quietly revoking travel visas issued to Afghan interpreters working for the U.S. Department of Defense.  Many interpreters have been applying for Special Immigrant status so they can move their families to the U.S. after the supposed 2014 NATO pullout, because it is common knowledge they and their families will be assassinated for helping U.S. forces.  But, suddenly the Obama regime State Department began revoking those visas.  Is this a stab in the back or is it more proof the U.S. is not leaving Afghanistan?

U.S. Army Lieutenant General William Caldwell, and Major General Gary Patton, are accused of blocking investigations into corruption and abuse at U.S. Army run Afghan hospitals.  This includes the intentional starvation of Afghan patients!  The investigation into the goings on at Dawood National Military Hospital began back in 2011.  The Joseph Mengele (NAZI doctor aka Angel of Death) like conditions of the hospital were revealed in 2011 when an inspector general released his inspection results without the customary notification to generals Caldwell and Patton.  It turns out the two generals had been blocking previous inspection results from public release!  This means the hospital was probably a U.S. run death camp for years prior.

Ignorant U.S. Army Lieutenant General, Mark Milley, recently stated the U.S. presence in Afghanistan was being reduced “…because of the society fundamentals that have changed…”.  Really?  Was he talking about society fundamentals of Afghanistan or the United States?

The U.S. Department of Defense announced the deployment of about 75-hundred to 8-thousand U.S. Army troops to Afghanistan, to take place in October.

U.S. Senator Mark Kirk, from Illinois, revealed that the United States is trying to hand over military control of Afghanistan to India: “I have long felt that the best way out of Afghanistan is through New Delhi, is to have a military alliance with India that we encourage India to roll into Afghanistan….”

In New York, U.S.A., a U.S. citizen was found guilty of trying to sell weapons, including guided missiles, to Mujahideen.  He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.  However, the federal trial was a sham.  It was only two weeks long and did not involve a jury (called a Bench Trial)!  It was part of a sting operation set up by U.S. government.  Sting operations are government set ups of people who normally wouldn’t have committed such crimes on their own.  At least five other people are being railroaded.

The Washington Times reports that the U.S. Army’s cyber intell ops in Afghanistan are so open to hackers that the DoD has given it 60 days to fix or replace the system.  Specifically, the Distributed Common Ground System (aka D-sigs, DCGS) failed a readiness test.  The warning on the cyber intell system’s failure was issued on 05 September by U.S. Command in Kabul, and made public by The Washington Times on 24 September.

According to the Fiscal Times, the high cost of U.S. led NATO operations in Afghanistan, and the bad economies of most NATO members, will kill the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.  Currently, only three NATO members are meeting their payment requirements for membership: United Kingdom, United States and Greece.

Food Crisis: Think Tuna prices are high now? Red Sea Tuna now extinct!

23 August 2013 (00:07 UTC-07 Tango)/16 Shawwal 1434/01  Shahrivar 1392/17 Geng-Shen (7th month) 4711

“We are currently experiencing some of the most severe supply shortages that the tuna industry has ever faced.”-Unnamed fish supplier in a memo to a Rhode Island restaurant in 2012, trying to explain why prices are going up

On 22 August 2013, Japan’s Fisheries Agency warned they will order a reduction in allowed bluefin tuna catches by their fishing industry.  In March 2013, there were reports that the Japanese news media almost ignored a study by the International Scientific Committee for Tuna and Tuna-like Species in the Northern Pacific that said not only have tuna populations been falling for decades, the population decline has snowballed towards extinction!

The latest survey estimates that today’s Pacific bluefin tuna population has crashed by 96.4% over the past few decades, and current catches could guarantee extinction: “Over 90% of the catch is juveniles, caught in nursery and spawning areas. Literally, the zero to three year age class, so they’re being caught on their spawning grounds before they can reproduce, with no catch limit, and gee whiz, we’re at 3.6% of the original population. I wonder why?”-Amanda Nickson, Pew Environment Group

In fact, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Ministry of Fisheries Affairs has reported a loss of 70% in its Red Sea fishing industry. Fishermen say it’s partly due to the extinction of Red Sea tuna caused by pollution: “The entire expanse of sea lying between Jeddah and Qunfuda is polluted and has resulted in the depletion of the fish resources and the total disappearance of tuna.”-Abdullah Al-Sayed, a fisherman in Jeddah.

Even the cheap generic brand of canned tuna could become unaffordable. Tuna packed in veggie oil has already gone way up because veggie oil prices have skyrocketed!

Even the cheap generic brand of canned tuna could become unaffordable. Tuna packed in veggie oil has already gone way up because veggie oil prices have skyrocketed!

It should matter to Japanese because tuna is king of sushi.  It’s estimated that the Japanese eat 80% of the tuna caught around the World!  Japanese have been hearing about this for awhile, but maybe they haven’t noticed that since 2007 some tuna sushi has been replaced with different fish (some reports mentioned deer meat).

But Japanese fish mongers have seen for years a decline in available tuna in the fish markets, resulting in higher prices every year.  In January 2013, a 489 pounds bluefin tuna sold for a record $1.76 million USD in Japan!

(don’t forget to add the incredible amount of deadly radiation that’s been pouring into the northern Pacific from Fukushima Daiichi, since 2011:  Pacific bluefin tuna transport Fukushima-derived radionuclides from Japan to California)

It’s not just bluefin that’s disappearing, it’s other tuna as well.  Today, the latest global tuna catch records show that only 18-thousands metric tons of tuna were caught last year, it hasn’t been that low since the 1980s.

Vietnam just reported that its fishing industry is having a hard time catching tuna, their exports are down as result.

An official with New Zealand’s Secretariat of the Pacific Community recently blamed lack of government management and monitoring of fishing industries: “…this is done country by country, different countries are doing different things and taking different approaches to their management and data collection. Some are focusing more on the tuna fishery….that’s being lost to the countries because the fishery wasn’t managed sustainably. We know that many of the main centers around the Pacific, the main urban centers, there is a shortage of fish and people are needing to go further to catch fish, or in some countries they are trying to bring in fish from other locations in the country, so we know there is over fishing occurring…..management is to include the monitoring so that you actually have an idea of what’s happening in the fishery…”-Lindsay Chapman

India has just lifted its trawling fishing ban, many people in India hope it will bring fish prices down, because the industrial fish farms just could not produce enough fish to offset the lack of wild caught fish due to the trawling fishing ban.  Not only are tuna prices way up in India, so are sardine prices.

What was that about “teach a man to fish”?

World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 08-09 August 2013: World Bank & Sweden giving away more money! U.S. admits drug war a failure! U.S. using Afghanistan to push India & Pakistan into war?

In Logar Province, Azra District, major battles leave at least 211 people dead!  The Afghan National Army says they’ve been fighting militants who are not Afghans.  20 of those insurgents have been captured.

In Kabul Province, Kabul city, three Chinese citizens have been killed, two kidnapped, after an Israeli style home invasion of their apartment.  There are no apparent motives.

In Nangarhar Province, Ghani Khel District, an explosion killed 14 civilians and wounded four others. It happened in a cemetery.  Someone planted a bomb and when a family came to pay their respects it blew up.  Most of the victims are from the same family.

Mujahideen claim they’ve launched rocket artillery attacks against Bagram, Jalalabad and Kandahar airbases.  No other details given.

Not so neutral Kingdom of Sweden is promising Afghanistan $130 million USD every year until 2019!!!  Up ’till now Sweden has been giving away $92.3 million!  Sweden also stated it will keep 200 troops in Afghanistan after the 2014 NATO pullout.

The United States Department of Defense admitted the war on drugs in Afghanistan is a failure: Due to bad weather [not U.S. actions], the 2012 poppy yield was lower than previous years…….The 2013 poppy harvest is expected to expand considerably over 2012 due to improved weather conditions, increased prices and the drawdown of ISAF security forces…”-Defense Department report to Congress

U.S. Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan, James Dobbins, stated that Pakistan’s concerns over the growing presence of India in Afghanistan “…aren’t groundless. They are simply, in our judgement, somewhat exaggerated.”

The U.S. based World Bank has given Afghanistan yet more free money, this time $50 million: “This particular grant will help the government maintain growth momentum during the transition and beyond.“-Paul Edwin Sisk

Perhaps the key to getting free money is become a puppet/failed state?

Obama side steps War

World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 04-05 August 2013: Comedy of errors = U.S. kills teachers & cops! U.S. destroys life of UN security guard! Iran promises Karzai military help! India sends more cash!

In Ghazni Province, reports that U.S. forces shot and killed a grade school teacher.  Villagers say the U.S. forces also shot at cops who were responding to the shooting, one cop killed, four wounded.  The teacher was working in an orchard when he was shot.   Mujahideen report that what happened was that U.S. forces were arriving late to a battle between Mujahideen and Afghan National Police (ANP).  Mujahideen observed what happened, saying the U.S. forces thought the teacher, along with other civilians working in the orchard, were Mujahideen and shot at them.  Then the ANP responded, thinking the Mujahideen had returned.  The result was that U.S. and ANP fought each other.  Mujahideen had a good laugh watching the comedy of errors!

In Nangarhar Province, Jalalabad city, another round of explosions.  28 people wounded.

In Uruzgan Province, Tarinkowt city, an Afghan National Police (ANP) cop was shot and killed by other ANP personnel when he tried to bomb a bank where fellow cops were collecting their monthly pay.

In Kandahar Province, Kandahar city, four civilians killed, 27 wounded by a car bomb.  Other reports say it was a bomb hidden in a livestock cart.

Mujahideen report that at least a dozen ANP cops from several provinces joined the Mujahideen.  Some of those joining the Mujahideen included front line officers.

There have been many explosions in Afghan cities, many of which the Mujahideen do not claim the credit.  Mujahideen do take credit for explosions against government targets.  Yet another religious group has condemned suicide bombing.  The Ulema Council of Afghanistan declared suicide bombing as illegitimate in the religion of Islam.  The fact that so many religious leaders condemn suicide bombings makes you wonder who’s really behind the suicide bombings.

Flooding has hit nine Afghan provinces, including Nangarhar, Kabul, Khost, Laghman and Nuristan.  At least 84 people dead.

In the British empire country of Australia, one man pled guilty to sending harassing letters to families of dead Diggers.  He said it was his way of protesting the false War on Terror in Afghanistan.  He called the dead Diggers child killers, which in some cases is actually true, however the families of the dead Diggers didn’t want to be reminded.

India has promised Afghanistan another $100 million USD in cash: “After providing $20 million funds, we are again pledging $100 million in fresh aid, but the funds will be spent on small development projects which will boost the principles of social economy, since India wants a solid and strong Afghanistan.”– Amar Sinha, Indian ambassador to Afghanistan

The Secretariat of the National Security Council of Iran has signed a long term  strategic cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Afghanistan National Security Council.  It was signed before the inauguration of the new Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani.  The MoU includes military/police cooperation, information sharing and economic activities.

The reporter who was publicly beaten by the very governor of Parwan Province he accused of corruption, has asked the Afghan government for help: “Since the ministry of interior affairs of Afghanistan is responsible to provide security for the citizens of Afghanistan, and similarly each citizen has obliged to assist police, therefore, I, Nasratullah Iqbal, an ordinary citizen of Kabul city and reporter of Bokhdi News Agency would like to bring to the attention of interior ministry that my life is in risk, and request the ministry to take legal actions to prevent my own and my family’s concerns in this regard.”

A former Afghan UN security guard went public with the story of how U.S./ISAF destroyed his life.  In April 2008, as he was passing a U.S./ISAF convoy he was shot by U.S./ISAF personnel.  They claimed he was a suicide bomber.  He lost the use of one leg.  The United Nations fired him from his security guard job because he couldn’t walk.  His four children were kicked out of a private school because he could no longer pay, they were bullied out of a public school.  This week he spent hours in line at a local court, trying to stop his family’s eviction from their home.  His story is considered typical.  So much for the United States occupying Afghanistan in the name of security and stability.

It’s been revealed that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with Pakistani officials to discuss a new official office of the Mujahideen (Taliban).

Ever since the Marine Corps Times revealed that Cragslist has become the place for military personnel to find gay sex partners in Iraq and Afghanistan, the newspaper is now warning that the Naval Criminal Investigative Service in Afghanistan are now posing as homosexuals to catch the gay sex posters.  The U.S. Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) forbids even heterosexual sex in combat zones!

According to The Fiscal Times, Obama’s threat to pull all U.S. personnel out of Afghanistan (Zero Option) is actually a cover to try and save the broke U.S. government $112 billion!

A recent U.S. News & World Report revealed that many U.S. personnel killed or wounded in Afghanistan are college graduates who joined the military to payoff their massive student loans.  I write this because I’m still amazed by how many U.S. citizens think federal student loans (misleadingly called Federal Student Aid) equals free college education.

World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 02-03 August 2013: Major battles in Nangarhar, hundreds killed! Nearly 100 killed by Mother Nature!

In Nimruz Province, Delaram District, 25 NATO supply trucks were destroyed in an ambush that lasted one hour.

In Maidan Wardak Province, Sayedabad District, Mujahideen reported they observed several NATO/ISAF tanks stop, the crews dismounted and appeared to be in a meeting.  Mujahideen launched their attack at that point, killing four NATO/ISAF personnel and wounding several others.  U.S./NATO airstrikes were called in, killing at least two Mujahideen.

In Kandahar Province, Maiwand District, seven family members were killed when the van they were in drove over a landmine.  Three others were wounded.

In Faryab Province, Maimana city, about 300 people protested the rape and murder of a 12 years old boy.  The people accused the police of the crime, because it was reported that the crime took place near a police check point.

In Nangarhar Province, Shirzad and Khogyano districts, a major battle between Afghan National Police (ANP) forces and Afghan Mujahideen.  Government sources say 76 Mujahideen killed, 22 Afghan cops killed.  Mujahideen say they killed 84 cops, destroyed 13 vehicles and captured 16 vehicles. In Jalalabad city, the Indian consulate was hit by an explosion and gun battles.  At least eight people killed, 21 wounded.  Western news media said it was a suicide bomber, but local Afghan media said there was no confirmation of that.  Indian officials insinuated the attack was planned by Pakistan.  In Bati Kot District, NATO officials said they will investigate why they were asked to bomb a ANP building.  The Afghan National Army (ANA) called in the airstrike, saying the people around the building were Mujahideen.  At first it was reported that four cops were killed, but NATO stated they killed five cops.

In Ghor Province, Charsada District, ANP says a firefight left four Mujahideen dead.  ANP officials said they defused several bombs afterwards.

I recently heard a U.S. attorney say flooding is rare in Afghanistan. In Kabul Province, Surobi District, four villages were hit by massive flash flooding.  At least 96 people killed.  The bodies of 40 have been recovered. 430 homes and businesses were destroyed.  Also, the Washington Post confirmed that the U.S. is still controlling part of the infamous Bagram prison, or Second Gitmo.  At least 67 non-Afghans are being held there.

An investigation into Afghanistan’s child prisons, by The Guardian, revealed that the common child criminal is illiterate, but those who have joined the Mujahideen are the most well educated kids in Afghanistan!!!  The report also shows what I’ve stated before; education for boys isn’t anymore better than education for girls.  According to the Red Coat article, the only education source for most Afghan boys are Madrasas in Pakistan.  They come back literate but with bombs.  The Guardian article also said children are abused in the child prisons.

A few days ago the U.S. Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) confirmed that U.S. tax dollars are going to Afghan contractors known to support Mujahideen.  Now, they’ve revealed just how much taxpayers have been ripped off in this latest U.S. military led scam: “Dating back to 2008, SIGAR has identified more than $150m in reconstruction contracts and sub-contracts that have been awarded to companies known to be providing material support to insurgent and terrorist organizations in Afghanistan.”-John Sopko, SIGAR

Norovirus / Tummy Bug update, 02 August 2013: Airline flight from vomiting hell! 9 people dead, 150 sick in Canada! Hundreds sick at Washington campgrounds!

At least 26 people were quarantined in Australia after a gut wrenching flight from Chile.  Paramedics met the 747 when it landed in Sydney.  Health officials say the sick people were part of the same tour group.  Norovirus is suspected.  Also, in Wodonga The Grange old folks home was “locked down” for a week because of a major gastroenteritis outbreak.  Employees went to the local news media after officials with The Grange lied and said it was just a dozen people sick.  Turns out at least 70 residents and 12 employees were sick.  An unnamed employee said management didn’t even try to pick up the slack to compensate for the sick employees: “Work has increased tenfold. There has been no recognition from management. No one is saying we’re doing a great job. It’s a hard place to work at the moment.”

Nine people have died and 150 sickened after an outbreak at an old folks home in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada!  Health officials suspect the deadly outbreak is caused by norovirus.

And just south, in the state of Washington, U.S.A., the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department is investigating an outbreak at a YMCA campground. About 80 people are sick with norovirus like symptoms.  And 120 people sickened at a Christian campground in Whatcom County!  Health officials are blaming norovirus. They say the outbreak actually started at the beginning of July, but for some reason is only now being made public. About one week ago they did warn residents to be careful as there were “clusters” of cases being reported.  In the same county, people reported tummy bug symptoms after a chile contest on Lummi Island.

The U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease claims to have  discovered an antibody that can neutralize human norovirus.  Their study involved the use of immune cells of chimpanzees.

More bad news for plant eaters!  Recent parasite infections are being blamed on bagged salads!  In the United States the cyclospora outbreak has hit 16 states and at least 380 people!  In Iowa and Nebraska, health officials say they’ve traced the parasite to bagged salads.  At this point they’re not releasing the name of the brand of packaged salads.  You can only get sick by eating food or drink contaminated with the parasite.

In Arkansas U.S.A., another parasite has eaten the brain of a girl.  It’s called amoebic meningoencephalitis.  It’s a type of meningitis caused when an amoeba goes up your nose into your brain.  Officials think she got infected while swimming at Willow Springs Water Park.  One of the first signs is vomiting, which could cause people to think it’s a tummy bug.   The 12 years old girl has been placed in a medically induced coma.  If she survives she will be only the third person to do so.

Yogurt and flavored coffee lovers watch out, bugs are being used as food coloring in U.S. food products! According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest, cochineal insects are being used to color flavored coffees and yogurts.  There are reports of people having allergic reactions, such as vomiting.  Starbucks announced last year they would stop using the red bugs in their strawberry flavored Frappuccino.  And you thought they were real strawberries.  Officials with Dannon yogurt says the U.S. FDA approved the use of the bugs as a substitute strawberry (carmine) coloring, so they are not going to stop using them!

And more bad news for plant eaters: A Washington U.S.A. woman and her 3 years old daughter were sick for seven months from oatmeal.  At first it was blamed on the standard tummy bug, turns out it was fungal mycotoxin poisoning.  It wasn’t doctors who figured it out, it was the suffering woman.  She was about to make her son a bowl of oatmeal, which he rarely ate, but she noticed he would get sick with similar symptoms when he ate it.  Upon closer inspection of the Western Family brand oatmeal container she found a clump of toxic mold in the oatmeal.

New Hampshire U.S.A., one man has been infected with two rare viruses, Jamestown Canyon virus and the Powassan virus.  Mosquitoes and ticks spread the disease.  The signs are sudden severe headache, fever, vomiting and paralysis.

And in Iowa U.S.A., health officials reporting at least 26 cases of infection from a rare form of salmonella.  Officials say this form of salmonella is related to poultry and is easily confused with the cyclospora parasite.   Also, Polk County Department of Public Health is reporting another parasite outbreak, this time cryptosporidium.  At least 68 cases so far.  You get it from contaminated drinking water or swimming pools.

Bad news for beef eaters: There are reports that the Lone Star Tick is making its way north, from the southern U.S. states.  The bad news is that apparently the bite of the Amblyomma americanum can render you allergic to beef!  Symptoms are vomiting, abdominal cramps, hives, anaphylaxis and death.

In the African country of Nigeria, reports of at least 104 cases of gastroenteritis.  Health officials blame poor hygiene.

In the new administrative district of Bandipora, in Jammu and Kashmir, India, at least 75 cases of gastroenteritis.  Apparently people are rising up in protest because government officials supplied them with contaminated water.  The angry people actually forced Public Health Engineering Department employees to drink the contaminated water!  Health officials are now telling people to boil the water.  In Mumbai city, 40 cases of cholera, and 2481 cases of gastroenteritis, were reported in July.

Pakistan reported a 39% increase in gastroenteritis, from December through January.  (they also reported a 90% increase in snake bites!)

Norovirus / Tummy Bug update, 24 July 2013: Rabies misdiagnosed as tummy bug, kills several! Fear forces family to remove stomachs!!! More reasons to be a meat eater!

In Maryland U.S.A., it’s been revealed that people who got organ transplants are dying from rabies.  The latest victim died in February this year.  The North Carolina man who donated his organs had been diagnosed with a tummy bug called ciguatera, from eating contaminated fish.  Turns out he had rabies, which can have symptoms similar to tummy bug.  Three organ recipients have been successfully treated for rabies.  A report says this is not the first time this has happened in the U.S. (at least three other documented cases where several people died), and issued a warning: “This transmission event provides an opportunity for enhancing rabies awareness and recognition and highlights the need for a modified approach to organ donor screening and recipient monitoring for infectious encephalitis.”-report co-authored by U.S. CDC, published in Journal of the American Medical Association

The U.S. CDC has confirmed that this year’s norovirus outbreaks are dominated by the GII.4 Sydney strain (as I wrote months ago).

In eight U.S. states at least 275 people are sick from a protozoa called cyclospora.  10 people hospitalized.  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is trying to find the source.

In Washington U.S.A., the Seattle Parks and Recreation closed the Lincoln Park wading pool after children got sick.  They suspect norovirus.  Public pools are chlorinated, but the normal chlorine levels are not high enough to kill the new strains of tummy bugs.

In Massachusetts U.S.A., a family has removed their stomachs.  They have a genetic mutation known as CDH1.  It causes diffuse gastric cancer, which normally shows up when it reaches stage 4, meaning too late for treatment.  They’ve had several relatives die from it.  Stomach cancer is the number two cause of cancer death around the World.

In the U.S., the National Pork Board is investing $800000 USD to fight a killer pig virus called porcine epidemic diarrhea (PED).  It’s fatal for suckling pigs, and 346 cases have been confirmed in 14 states.  It’s been determined that it’s being spread when transporting pigs to markets or slaughter houses.  Right now the pork industry is being told to handle all pigs as if they were bio-hazards.  Pig meat is safe to eat when cooked properly.

Wisconsin U.S.A., reporting an invasion of Lone Star ticks, which cause ehrlichiosis.  The disease has symptoms similar to influenza and tummy bugs.  Health officials suspect the new ticks are surviving through the warmer winters.

In Canada, health officials are warning you to protect from insect bites, some of which cause tummy bug like symptoms.  Blood sucking insects spread diseases from human to human.

In Taranaki, New Zealand, cases of cryptosporidiosis are skyrocketing.  Last year they had none, this year 24 cases so far.  It usually spreads when a sick person swims in a public pool.  Treatment is the same for norovirus, drink plenty of water.

Health officials in Taiwan reporting that norovirus outbreaks are getting larger every year.  They’ve identified GII.4-2006b and GII.4-New Orleans.

In United Kingdom, more reasons to stay out of hospital.  The Royal Blackburn Hospital is apparently intentionally killing patients through neglect and harassment.  A old woman was admitted with tummy bug, but then died.  Her family says the staff ignored her, intentionally moved her to new rooms in the middle of the night, and she even wound up with injuries that she didn’t have when she went in.  The woman called the Royal Hospital “hell on earth”.  A government investigation backs up the family’s claim, saying the Royal Hospital has the highest death rates in the U.K.

Wards in the Royal Bolton Hospital and the Coronary Care Unit in U.K. have been closed.  It’s blamed on tummy bug, but hospital staff are not sure how many people are sick.

Health alarms are ringing in the U.K., after reports that the upcoming winter will see more delays in getting help at the hospital. It’s blamed on huge reductions in staff at Accident & Emergency (A&E) units across the U.K. due to funding cuts.   Also, a disease that can have tummy bug like symptoms being warned about.  It’s the killer coughing bug, called pertussis or whooping cough.  This year’s cases are up ten times from 2008.

In Scotland U.K., officials with Health Protection Scotland reporting massive increase in two or more linked cases of illnesses.  Cases of people being sick with more than two diseases at the same time is up 40% from last year.  Norovirus is the most prevalent co-infector, salmonella the second most prevalent.  68% of cases took place in nursing homes and 28% in hospitals.

U.K. news media have been circulating a U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study that says 50% of all tummy bugs are caused by raw fruit and veg!  It’s usually the fertilizers used on the plants, which can actually absorb the pathogens through their roots, meaning in some cases you can’t just wash it off ’cause it’s inside the plant.

In Russia, norovirus has been found in frozen raspberries from the Netherlands.  Russian officials are warning of norovirus infections of frozen berries from Austria, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.

Pakistan reporting a tummy bug outbreak in Panjpai.  At least 67 people sick.  Several people died. In Punjab, a child died from tummy bug.  Health officials say the disease is being spread by the water supply, at least 200 people sick.

In Madhya Pradesh, India, at least ten people sick from cholera.  Government officials say it’s taking place in “unauthorized” communities, whose water source is contaminated.  In Maharashtra, 31 more students have been admitted to hospital. This is the place where elementary and junior high students were poisoned by their school lunch.  22 children have died so far.  It’s blamed on a deadly pesticide (which is banned in the U.S.) that somehow got into their food.  The school principal has been arrested after an employee said she was forced by him to serve the food even after she discovered the contamination.  Also, in the same state of Maharashtra, health officials are reporting increased cases of cholera, specifically in the city of Mumbai.  Officials there are concerned because they had no cases last year. Also they report increased cases of typhoid and hepatitis.
