For awhile main streamer news media have been reporting the mysterious pings as “radar pings”,  but could they have been satellite pings?  This would explain the confusion with Malaysian officials who insisted they lost radar contact supposedly hours before the satellites lost ping contact: “As is standard procedure, the investigation team will not publicly release information until it has been properly verified and corroborated with the relevant authorities. Nor do we want to be drawn into specific remarks that unnamed officials have reportedly made the media.”-Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Malaysian Defence Minister and acting Transportation Minister

Hussein is getting tired of the BS about engine data coming from the U.S. news media: “Yesterday, we rejected a media report in which unnamed officials said that engine data showed the plane had kept flying for hours after last contact. We checked with Boeing and Rolls Royce, who said the reports were not true. Today, Rolls Royce released a statement saying, and I quote, ‘Rolls Royce continues to provide its full support to the authorities and Malaysia Airlines.  Rolls Royce concurs with the statement made on Thursday 13th March by Malaysia s Transport Minister regarding engine health monitoring data received from the aircraft.’

Hussein explained the sighting of two more oil slicks: “Yesterday, authorities sighted two oil slicks in the South China Sea, 60 nautical miles south of the last point of contact with MH370.  The first slick was investigated and analysed and found to contain tiny traces of jet fuel. No debris was found in the vicinity. We do not believe the slick is linked to MH370.  Samples from the second slick were investigated and analyzed and did not contain jet fuel.”

The Indian Navy is searching more than 500 islands across the  archipelago of Andaman and Nicobar: “This operation is like finding a needle in a haystack.”-Harmeet Singh, Indian Armed Forces

Scientist with the University of Science and Technology of China report hat there was a “seafloor event” 116km (72 miles) from the last known position of MH370/CZ748.  The area is considered “non-seismic”, meaning there shouldn’t be any earthquakes.   However, the small quake was detected more than one hour after airline officials lost contact with the plane.

There are reports of a Facebook page that claims MH370/CZ748 was found.  It even shows a boat approaching a crashed plane.  Reports say when you click on it your computer gets hit with malware.  The pic is of a plane that went into the ocean after overrunning the runway in Bali, last year.

Many U.S. politicians, who are not experts in the aviation, have been pushing the idea that flight MH370/CZ748 ended up in the Indian Ocean.  The only clue they are giving is that ‘pings’ were traced that far.  They give no detailed explanations for their reason to shift U.S. search efforts far west into the Indian Ocean.

The USN is taking their new orders to deploy to the Indian Ocean seriously, Commander William Marks of the U.S. 7th Fleet said the Navy was “not out here freelancing”.

Reuters claims they’ve received “exclusive” information that military radar did track MH370 all the way to the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal!  The track was consistent with airliners flying to the Middle East.   Investigators are now asking for military radar data from Indonesia, Thailand and India.  The problem with this new route is that MH370/CZ748 did not have enough fuel to reach the Middle East.

The U.S. news media has also reported that there is information saying that the data reporting system and the transponder shutdown separately, with a 14 minute gap.  Analysts say this suggest the systems were turned off manually.  However, anybody who’s experienced electronic systems failures will tell you that it can happen in stages, not always all at once.

A Chinese family of one of the passengers said they got a call from their missing loved one.  This report caused a stir, of course, but investigations revealed that the cell number that the family was called from is based in the United States, not China.

About that investigation by the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization investigation using infrasound to detect the echo of any possible explosion, don’t expect any results: “A few incidents involving planes have been registered in the past such as the crash of the FedEx cargo plane at Narita International Airport, Japan, in March 2009 or the crash of two F16 figthers at an air show in Belgium, in 2003. In those cases, regional IMS infrasound arrays were located within few tens to few hundreds of kilometers……The 7 closest certified and operational IMS infrasound stations (green icons) are located over 2000km (I06AU, Cocos Island) from the last known position of the plane [MH370/CZ748].”CTBTO statement

Now compare that to the latest All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center poll concerning Vladimir Putin.   Russian voters who approve of Putin’s actions has hit a record 71.6%!

Officials from the U.S. NTSB also pointed out that there might have been a water main break prior to the explosion on 12 March 2014, that took down two six story buildings.  The water main break created a sink hole that’s impeding the on going firefighting and rescue operations.

Seven people found dead, at least nine missing, more than 60 injured.

Listening to live news radio from New York City, I heard several claims by people living in the area that Consolidated Edison (ConEd) was routinely called because of an on going, and strong, smell of gas.  Company and city records contradict the claims by neighborhood residents.

However, the the Department of Housing Preservation and Development does show complaints for no smoke detectors, no carbon monoxide detectors, bars over fire escapes, as well as numerous lesser issues.

The Center for an Urban Future blames the explosion on New York City’s 56 years old, 10139km (6300 miles) long and leaking gas pipelines.  However, Edward Foppiano, a ConEd senior vice president, says they’ve been replacing some old pipes, but the pipes in the area of explosion were not scheduled for replacement: “Age is not in and of itself an issue….”

The guy I saw operating a small drone over the site (caught by a live news ‘copter camera) has been identified as Brian Wilson.  He was using a DJI Phantom 2 quadcopter.  What I find interesting is that in this day and age when cops love to arrest people for taking pics of them (which is actually illegal), Wilson got away with at least 30 minutes of video that included cops and firefighters.  I even saw Metro police looking right at the privately owned drone.  Police did finally tell Wilson to stop: “At the end, the cops said they’d prefer if I didn’t fly in the area anymore, so I stopped.”

The USN is sending a destroyer through the Malacca Straight.  There is no indication that it is heading for the Indian Ocean.  Late yesterday the Wall Street Journal posited that the plane flew as far west as Pakistan or Arabian Sea.  The U.S. ABC News said they had info that the destroyer was heading to the Indian Ocean, however, British news media say their Pentagon contacts are denying that.

A USN P-3C Orion has already flown over the Malacca Straight, finding no sign of wreckage.

Malaysia’s Defense Minister, and acting Transport Minister, Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, also denies the Wall Street Journal report: “I would like to refer to news reports suggesting that the aircraft may have continued flying for some time after the last contact……..The last transmission from the aircraft was at 01:07 which indicated that everything was normal. Rolls Royce and Boeing teams are here in Kuala Lumpur and have worked with MAS and the investigations team since Sunday………As far as Rolls Royce and Boeing are concerned, those reports are inaccurate.

Despite U.S. news media reports saying it was the Malaysian government denying such claims, note that Hussein specifically refers to Boeing and Rolls Royce as the ones who are denying the Wall Street Journal report.

Rolls Royce seems to be waffling on its statements concerning the engine data.  Currently they are not willing to say that data definitely stopped transmission after 01:07 local time. (according to some news sources)

I also saw several U.S. news reports saying the search was not being expanded, but that does not jive with what Hussein said at the last press conference: “…..this situation is unprecedented. MH370 went completely silent whilst over the open ocean. We are in the middle of a multinational search involving many countries and more than 80 ships and aircraft……….Some claim that Malaysia has slowed down the search. That is not true. In fact, we have intensified the search.”

Royal Malaysian Police deny rumors that they searched the homes of the MH370/CZ748 flight crew.

Opposition political parties in Malaysia are using this debacle to build their cases against the current Malaysian government.

Lack of debris and emergency signals is making the theory of a hijacking look more and more enticing, however, to give you an idea of how hard it is to find a plane that crashes into the ocean: Air France 447 crashed into the Atlantic in 2009.  It was not found until 2011, almost two years later!  As I’ve pointed out in an earlier article, 447 went down under similar circumstances, and it turned out to be caused by a major computer failure.

Here’s a reason why a computer failure would cause a sudden crash: Old school aircraft have direct mechanical linkage from cockpit controls to ‘flying surfaces’ (rudder, elevators, ailerons, flaps & slats).  One reason why modern aircraft are more fuel efficient is because they are lighter weight, and this is due in part to the deletion of those mechanical linkages, replaced with ‘fly by wire’ computer controlled relays.  So, a total failure of the computer systems equals a big crash.

Air France’s flight 447, as do most modern airliners, used fly by wire: “Deflections of the flying control surfaces on the wing and tail are no longer driven directly by the pilots’ controls, but by a computer…..”-Airbus statement

Is your insurance data safe? 3rd biggest insurance company loses data for 40-thousand customers!

After buying up several smaller competitors, and becoming a dominant insurance seller on the internet, the third largest life insurance company (by revenue) has discovered they’ve lost data for 40-thousand customers.

Japan’s number 3, Dai-ichi Life, discovered that two data tapes went missing last month.  Only now are they telling the public.  The tapes contain names, addresses and medical histories of customers.

Last month Dai-ichi Life took over Sompo Japan insurance company, as well as Dai-ichi Frontier Life (which was originally affiliated with Sompo).

Dai-ichi Life also expanded operations into Vietnam.  Vietnam’s state-run Vietnam Television is running commercials for Dai-ichi Life, that have the slogan “Bringing the bond of reassurance to countries and regions around the world”.

Don’t think the company is making its money off insurance customers.  Dai-ichi Life has about $39-billion USD invested in government bonds, and they’re focusing on the failed economies of Spain and Italy with the hope of a big turnaround, soon!

Ships, and two Vietnamese aircraft, rushed to the area of debris sighted by Chinese satellites, but found nothing.

“I can say with reasonable confidence that this plane shaped object is not the downed plane because I spotted two large boats parked next to one another on earlier shots of DigitalGlobes satellite images not shrouded by cloud and from what I can make out based on the shapes and angle they are sitting on these are the exact same two boats.”-Mark Will, IT consultant

The Wall Street Journal reporting the flight could have made it as far as Pakistan or the Arabian Sea.  It’s base on data that was sent by the plane (gee, I could’a swore at the beginning investigators said no data was being sent?): Aviation investigators and national security officials believe the plane flew for a total of five hours, based on data automatically downloaded and sent to the ground…..”

Concerning the report that fishermen near Port Dickson finding a life raft; some investigators believe the pic of of the raft show it to be a type used by ships, not aircraft.

What housing market recovery?  Too big to Jail Ocwen Financial, laid off more than 800 employees across the U.S.!  It’s blamed on their take over of GMAC Mortgage.

California:  Hewlett Packard announced they will kill 1124 jobs in European Union!  It’s part of the Californian company’s plan to kill 29-thousand jobs around the world by October 2014!

Connecticut: In Orange, a Stop & Shop shutdown, 123 jobs affected!

Delaware: In Greenwood, long time Yoder’s Country Store shutdown.  The family owners blame it on Walmart and dollar stores.

Florida: White Springs Agriculture Chemicals shutdown.  350 jobs lost! Company officials say the phosphate industry is becoming more competitive.

Kentucky:  In Lexington, Kentucky Proud Market shutdown.  The store manager said it was not for economic reasons, but she was not allowed to disclose the reason. The state Board of Education warned of massive layoffs throughout the taxpayer funded public school system.  2-thousand educators and staff could be laid off by spring 2014: “With sequestration, district bailout of the Kentucky School Board Insurance Trust, and budget cuts, we are headed for the ‘perfect storm’. By next March or April, we predict 10-12 districts will fail to meet their basic financial commitment and we will see pink slips like we’ve never seen before.-Terry Holliday, Commissioner.    Compare that to 1800 who lost their jobs over the past three years.

Maryland:  MedStar laid off 74 hospital workers.

Michigan: In Dexter, ReCellular shutdown their distribution facility.  120 jobs lost!  It’s blamed on the loss of a major contract.

New Jersey:  Optimer Pharmaceuticals killed 177 jobs!  The company was sold to a competitor.

New York: Computer chip maker, GlobalFoundries, laid off 30 people as part of its plan to be more competitive.  In Forrest Hills, Perfume Globe shutdown.

Pennsylvania: In Philadelphia, Atlantic Express school bus service laid off 518 employees!  The company is bankrupt.

Ohio: Three Friendly’s restaurants shutdown.  Company officials said they were “underperforming”.

Texas: In Longview, Joy Global announced more layoffs, but refused to give numbers.  The company says demand for its products continues to crash.  This is the third round of layoffs in 2013.

Wisconsin: In Dane County, the Christian god couldn’t stop his YMCA from laying off 13 employees. The YMCA turned to the Devil, unAmerican Corporate America, and conducted a typical Wall Street survey that said even though they had not lost members, they weren’t gaining any either, so cuts had to be made.  The YMCA made drastic changes to its youth programs, as well.  Member Lisa Pierobon Mays, says the YMCA has lost its way: “It’s a real bait-and-switch they’ve done. Shows how out of touch they are.”

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the hundreds of layoffs involving less than 50 people each, in its mass layoff reports. It also doesn’t count all the little ‘mom & pop’ businesses that shut down.

False Flag(?) MH 370 update: Chinese satellite finds plane? Boeing issued warning last June! RMAF continues to backtrack off their statements!

Chinese news media have published pics taken by a satellite, on 09 March 2014, showing large debris on the ocean.  Location 105.63 east longitude, 6.7 north latitude, northeast of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

“I’m not saying this is MH370. We are still corroborating this….There is a possibility of the aircraft making a come back. It remains as a possibility….It is very difficult to say for sure it is the aircraft.”-General Rodzali bin Daud, Royal Malaysian Air Force

Because the RMAF’s is now questioning their own claim that MH370/CZ748 made it to Malacca Straight, Vietnam is now resuming full search operation in South China Sea.   Earlier, Vietnam announced they would cut back on searching, based on the RMAF’s claim the plane made it west to Malacca Straight.

The Express, in United Kingdom, reports that families of MH370/CZ748 passengers are so upset they’re attacking Chinese and Malaysian officials: “….furious relatives of passengers on board missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370 threw water bottles at officials in Beijing and accused them of withholding information……..Others shouted ‘tell us the truth’ and demanded the Malaysian military reveal what they knew about the missing plane.”
