He was in town to inspect the headquarters of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (aka NorAD, Nor=North, A=American or Aerospace[?], D=Defense, and for some reason they leave off the C. Formerly known as North American Air Defense Command.) NorAD is a joint operation between Canada and the United States. Since 1958, NorAD’s purpose is to defend against enemy airborne attacks, mainly from Soviet Union, then so-called terrorists flying airliners, and now Russia.

Traditional home buyers, families wanting to have a place of their own, have been overwhelmingly outbid by Limited Liability Companies (LLC), speculators and even criminal money launderers, for at least a decade. It is these profit seeking/money laundering operations that have driven-up housing costs, not traditional market forces. It seems that local, state and federal politicians are fine with that. Especially local politicians because a top source of tax & fee revenues for local governments is real estate.

U.S. tax schemes benefit LLCs:

Traditional investors, like Warren Buffet, do not like the idea of putting their money into real estate, yet there is a new game in town involving LLCs that are buying-up homes across the U.S., turning those homes into high dollar rentals:

A 05JUN2022 report lists more than 55 real estate transactions involving LLCs in Northwest Arkansas!

In California, the City of Berkeley itself is using tax dollars to get into to the rental game by buying-up properties, under the guise of lowering housing costs!

In Pennsylvania, for the week of 05JUN2022, more than 20 real estate transaction in the Pittsburgh Eastern Suburbs involved LLCs!

At least 7 real estate transactions involving LLCs in the Boise metro area, Idaho, were reported on 04JUN2022!

In Nebraska, a 04JUN2022 report revealed that multi-million dollar LLC real estate purchases caused property values to double for Lincoln County, in just one day!

On 01JUN2022, the U. S. President Joseph R. Biden Junior began an “initiative” that will likely drive up the cost of building new homes!

In May 2022, it was reported that Canada’s government is so concerned over foreign speculation driving-up prices in local real estate markets that a ban on home purchases by foreigners is being considered!

In the past week the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Region 10 conducted Cascadia Rising 2022 Rehearsal of Concept ‘pre-exercise’ (also calling it a “discussion-based exercise”) at the Pierce County Readiness Center on Camp Murray, Washington.

FEMA refers to the coming Cascadia disaster as CSZ Earthquake and Tsunami. CSZ stands for Cascadia Subduction Zone.

The Singaporean registered container ship lost power and went adrift approximately seven miles off the coast of Point Reyes, California. On 17APR2022, the USCG, Maryland Department of the Environment, and Evergreen Marine Corporation worked to refloat the Ever Forward. It took five weeks to repair damage caused by the grounding, and to unstick the 1-thousand-95-feet long ship.

The Ever Forward was then towed to the port. On 19APR2022, the state of Maryland demanded that Evergreen pay at least $100-million to cover what the Maryland taxpayers spent rescuing the Ever Forward.

On 31JAN2022, the CEO of FedEx Logistics made a statement during a press conference onboard Port Hueneme (aka The Port), California. FedEx now has a deal (Joint Use Agreement) with U.S. Naval Base Ventura County and the use of Port Hueneme, which is considered “a strategic West Coast deep water seaport“. According to a press release by The Port, FedEx is being allowed to use the taxpayer funded Port Hueneme to avoid privately operated ports in California!

In January 2022, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers inspected the Port of Baltimore’s Dundalk and Seagirt Marine Terminals in Maryland. There are claims that the port is now the top ‘e-commerce’ port in the United States. Port operators credit this to the ‘Pandemic’ shipping problems which resulted in a lot of container ships being rerouted from other overstressed ports.

Denton Program Failure: Canadian Fire Trucks, U.S. Air Force, Central America

At the beginning of June 2021, Canadian fire trucks rolled onto New York’s Niagara Falls International Airport where they were loaded onto a U.S. Air Force (USAF) C-5M Super Galaxy transport and flown to Nicaragua.

The fire trucks, as well as humanitarian supplies, came from an outfit called Global Medic in Toronto, Canada. The entire operation was coordinated through the Denton Humanitarian Assistance Program.

It’s not the first time, towards the end of July 2020 a firetruck and two ambulances from Canada got a ride on a USAF C-5M, bound for Nicaragua.

In 2017, the Denton Humanitarian Assistance Program got the help of the North Carolina Air National Guard, packing a fire truck and other vehicles into a C-17 Globemaster-3.

The Denton Humanitarian Assistance Program is not an independent charity but a taxpayer/’donation’ funded operation of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Agency for International Development (USAID). It is also known as Denton Cargo Program or Denton Program, and was started in 1987, after a 1985 change to Title 10 United States Code. It allows private charities to use space-available on taxpayer funded U.S. military aircraft to deliver their humanitarian supplies, mainly to Central American countries.

In July 2020, the USAF issued a press release claiming the Denton Program was “unfunded”, which is a blatant lie because the fuel, maintenance, and pay for the military personnel, is in the millions of U.S. dollars for just one flight of those giant transports! The USAF rationalizes that it is ‘unfunded’ because it uses what is called ‘space available’. This means that if a military aircraft is flying to a certain destination and it has empty space in its cargo hold, then it can be used for the Denton Program, but reality-check, the flight is still funded by the taxpayers.

Another faux pas in justifying the Denton Program Central American operations is this 2020 statement by Technical Sergeant Ryan Padgett: “By providing them with these resources, they are more likely to thrive, their economy will receive a boost which has the potential to lead to better health care, education and an overall higher standard of living.”

If the covertly taxpayer/’donor’ funded Title 10 Denton Program (on-going since 1987) is helping Central American countries (Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua) improve life for their residents, then why are there record numbers of Central Americans (specifically from Guatemala) swarming into the United States?

In October 2016, a World War Two German Flakpanzer-4 ‘gate guard’ had to be moved to interior storage on Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden.

The Wirbelwind is part of the CFB Borden Museum’s Worthington Memorial Park (aka ‘tank park’) collection, this is how it looked in 2004 (see more by clicking here). Notice in 2004 it was still displayed with an open top and ‘guns’.

The flakpanzer-4 has been undergoing a complete restoration since 2017. It’s a German designed Panzer IV that was converted to a flakpanzer, reportedly in Austria. Before the restoration, the flakpanzer Wirbelwind had been on gate guard duty for about 70 years on CFB Borden.

The C2 reportedly combines a C1 (Leopard 1A3) hull with Leopard 1A5 turret, then up-armouring with German designed Modular Expandable Armor System (MEXAS, by IBD Deisenroth Engineering, which was taken over by Rheinmetall in 2019. IBD Deisenroth ceased MEXAS production in 2006 in favor of AMAP.).

This is a Leo C2 sans MEXAS during a wargame called Maple Guardian, on the U.S. Army’s Fort Irwin in California, January 2010.

Apparently some C2s operate without the MEXAS, and some C1s operate with MEXAS, to confuse things more the C1 and C2 Leopards look almost identical with or without the MEXAS.

The beginning of the end for the Leo Mark-1 C2 MEXAS as ‘loaned’ German 2A6 Leos, newly modified to Canada’s ‘M’ standard, began arriving in 2008. Canadian Forces were in the middle of their 2nd Operation Athena deployment (2005-2011) to Afghanistan. It should be noted that the ‘loaned’ German 2A6s were ‘at no cost’, and were eventually returned to Germany with their M upgrades (some reports say Canada kept the German 2A6Ms and returned to Germany 2A6s purchased second-hand from Netherlands).

After only a couple of years of operations in Afghanistan, the C2 was deemed to be not only inadequate in dealing with the type of low-intensity ambush style of warfare, but also hot/dry climates. In 2007, Canadian Forces decided to replace their C2 MEXAS with Leopard 2A4 and 2A6 modified to M standards (‘M’ primarily for ‘mine resistant’, but many other modifications were made, Canadian Army does not use the CAN designation as seen on model kits or non-Canadian sources of information, it’s simply 2A4M or 2A6M).

Leo 2A6M, Zharey District, Afghanistan, November 2008. The SAAB designed camo netting is primarily a thermal blanket, and the Leo 2A6M has air conditioning (not initially, but reports say that finally air conditioners were installed).

Canada also purchased second hand Leo 2A4s and 2A6s from Netherlands and Switzerland, to be modified to M standards or converted to recovery vehicles.

In the land of the Canucks, a colorful Cormorant with rotary wings has refused to fly south for the Winter, and was recently seen flying the skies over Newfoundland and Labrador.

The CH-149 Cormorant is Canada’s nomenclature for the AgustaWestland AW101 (formerly EH101), it is the Search and Rescue (SaR) version of Canada’s CH-148. In the United Kingdom the AW101 is known as the Merlin. Canada is part of the Commonwealth of Nations, which is lead by Queen Elizabeth the Second of United Kingdom, but apparently tried to show some independence by calling its AW101 ‘CH-149 Cormorant’.
