Barack Obama has canceled his traditional stay at New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel, supposedly because it is now owned by China!
The hotel has been the residence for the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations since 1947 but that’s gonna change: “The decision about the location of the U.S. Ambassador’s residence must necessarily take into account numerous factors, including costs, the needs of the United States government and the U.S. Mission to the UN, as well as any possible security concerns.”-Mark Toner, U.S. Department of State

Cuban health officials say they developed an anti-cancer drug that kills cancerous cells, but does not affect healthy cells.
It’s based on peptide RJLB14. It identifies the cancerous cell, invades and kills it. More testing will be done before the commie government will approve it. Cancer is the number one killer in Cuba.
“The regulations ruling the new credit policy and other banking services will enter into force on December 20, aimed primarily at stimulating domestic production, which could generate incomes of foreign currency or replace imports.”-Cuban government statement
In July the Cuban banking sector started granting small loans to farmers, but in December much bigger loans will be made available. The move is meant to increase local food production and decrease reliance on imported food.
The plan is part of more than 300 proposals adopted at the Sixth Congress of the Cuban Communist Party in April. Cuba’s current leader, Raul Castro, is pushing to update the Cuban economic model.
