Up until the end of the 2nd World War the United States was officially anti-imperialist, but that all changed no-thanks to Winston Churchill and the Anglophiles that have dominated the U.S. government/corporations since then (British empire-Commonwealth nations are the biggest foreign ‘investors’ in U.S. corporations, Stop Blaming China!).
