U.S. Disaster 2022: Hurricane Hunters issue warning

U.S. Atlantic hurricane season=June 1st to November 30th

For the start of June 2022, the U.S. Air Force, Army and Coast Guard issued some type of warning for this year’s hurricane season.

On 01JUN2022, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers joined the city of New Orleans, as well as other local and state agencies in Louisiana, in pleading with residents to prepare for hurricanes and to heed evacuation orders/advisories. Also on 01JUN2022, U.S. Coast Guard District 8 issued a video reviewing the past few years of hurricane action for the Gulf states, including off-season action (incorrectly referred to as “inactive season”, because if there are still hurricanes then it is not “inactive”) and tropical storms:

On 02JUN2022, a WC-130J out of Kessler Air Force base (AFB), Mississippi, flew the first official hurricane tracking mission of the ‘in’ season.

It was tracking down Tropical Wave Invest 91-L, which was heading towards Florida.  On 01JUN2022, the commander of Eglin AFB, Florida, issued a humorous video about your 72 hours ‘Go-Bag’ for the hurricane season:
