For the past couple of days I’ve read Chicagoland news media reports claiming that the Windy City experienced 42 hours without violence, specifically gun violence. What the hell, are these journalists on prescription drugs or what?
Apparently this 42 hours stop violence bullshit was a “secret” “#SaveChicago” twitter based operation. Well it was not a success as many Chicagoland news outlets are trying to make it out to be, just read my latest updates from the past week (which are just about shootings, and don’t include stabbings, beatings, violence involving cars etc):
