World War 3, Asian Front-Afghanistan, 20-21 August 2013: Idiotic new job for contractors; self monitor their taxpayer funding! U.S. conducting mass Israeli style home invasions!

Herat Province, Gulistan District, Kandahar-Heart HWY, a major battle leaves 83 people dead, both Afghan National Army (ANA) personnel and Mujahideen.

Maidan Wardak Province, a U.S. Army Special Forces Master Sergeant from Virginia was killed when Mujahideen attacked his unit.  It was his 5th tour of duty.  He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne).  Mujahideen say the U.S. special ops forces were conducting Israeli style home invasions in Syed Abad District, that left one civilian dead another wounded.  Mujahideen attacked the U.S. special ops unit killing one and wounding another.  In a separate operation, Mujahideen claim they killed four U.S. Special Ops personnel, but some reports say they were Afghan National Police (ANP) that were killed.

In Zabul Province, reports that U.S. forces are conducting Israeli style home invasions in Shahjoi District. One person killed, one wounded.  In Qalat District,  someone started a fire inside a building on the U.S. Qalat Provincial Reconstruction Team Zabul (PRT-Zabul) base in Qalat city.  Witnesses say the fire lasted several hours, and destroyed sensitive equipment.  The fire on PRT-Zabul is claimed to be in retaliation for U.S. Israeli style home invasions conducted in Qalat city.  Witnesses say U.S. forces beat and tortured civilians.

Baghlan Province, thousands of Afghans protested continued U.S. led Israeli style home invasions, which has resulted in dozens of people kidnapped and personal property stolen.

Kandahar Province, Maiwand District, Kala Shamir region, an Israeli style home invasion resulted in five elders (aka White Beards) being beaten and kidnapped.

Logar Province, Pul-e-Alam District, a suicide bomber attacked local cops.  Two cops killed, three wounded.  Three civilians also killed and five wounded.   Mujahideen say they shot down a NATO/ISAF recon drone.  It burned after crashing.

Nangarhar Province, Khiwa District, a suicide bomber attacked local police.  Two cops killed, two wounded.

Helmand Province, a suicide bomber attacked the governor’s compound.  One person killed (besides the bomber), four wounded.

Bamyan Province, two U.S. employees of the Aga Khan Development Network were kidnapped.  Local police say they don’t know who did it, but have launched a rescue operation anyway.

Parwan Province, Syah Gird District, a fire destroyed 50 businesses.  Fire fighting officials blame it on a lack of electrical standards and the use of gas cylinders.

The Afghan interior affairs ministry claims that 35 Mujahideen were killed, 11 wounded, nine captured in operations conducted by the National Directorate of Security (NDS, Afghanistan’s version of Homeland Security) in the provinces of Kunar, Laghman, Baghlan, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak, Logar and Ghazni.

Mujahideen say more than 100 ANA and ANP forces switched sides and joined the resistance in the provinces of Paktika, Daikondi, Badghis, Nangarhar, Kandahar and Farah.

According to a report by The Guardian, as U.S./NATO pulls out of Afghanistan, those state department officials, who’re supposed to be monitoring how taxpayer funding is used by contractors, will also leave.  U.S. officials have decided the only way they can continue monitoring how contractors are spending tax dollars, wait for it, is to contract out the monitoring.  That’s right, soon the contractors will be monitoring how they spend their own taxpayer funding!
