The New York State Senate passed a new bill likely to be signed into law: Annoy a cop, go to prison!

Threatening a cop is usually accepted as a reason to get arrested, but the S.2402 will make it a felony to also “…harass, annoy…….or alarm…” a policeperson.

Gee, I didn’t know that cops armed with clubs, pepper spray, tasers and heavy firepower, felt so threatened by the general public?
