Under direction from the joint NATO-Canadian-U.S. NorAD (North American Defense, officially North American Aerospace Defense Command) the Civil Air Patrol (staffed mainly by non-paid volunteers) used their Cessna to play a ‘bad guy’ for the upcoming 2024 Super Bowl. On 08JAN2024, nearly 250 Airmen with California Air National Guard’s 144th FW returned from Kadena Air Base, Japan, after a 90 days deployment.
