Iranian military officials announced that production of their Fakour 90 air to air missiles are complete.  The mid-range anti-aircraft missile is used by their upgraded F-14 Tomcats.  They announced the development of a new long range air to air missile, the Maqsoud.

Also revealed, Iran will use its experience building super oil tankers, and their own naval ships, to build Iran’s first aircraft carrier.  Iran will launch a new destroyer next year.  New drone submarines will also be launched, but no other details were given about them.

Iranian naval officials say they will launch their first home built manned sub, the Fateh, this year.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says they’ve flown their armed UAV, the Shahed 129, for 24 hours straight.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Army claims its new UAV, the Yasir, can evade radar.  The description of its radar absorbing surfaces sounds like the Iranians were indeed able to reverse engineer the captured U.S. stealth drone.  It will be used for stealth recon missions, as an armed attack drone and as a target drone.
