An internal audit by the government of France has revealed that  police have dumbed down the true violent crime rate.   Police admitted they did it under orders to make gun controlled France look ‘safe’!

The cover-up has been going on since 2008, but in 2011 as many as 16-thousand crimes were erased from public records, and another 13-thousand in 2012!

Another tactic was to report a serious crime as a petty crime, like calling a violent burglary a simple vandalism.  The result of the audit shows that violent crime has only gone up with the creation of every new anti-gun law in France.

In France you must have a gun license to own a gun.  This requires background checks for criminal and mental health history.   As a member of the European Union, automatic weapons are banned from private ownership.  Government approval is needed to own semi-automatic/repeating guns.   All other guns must be “declared” to government authorities.

Open carry of guns is banned.
