Israeli soldiers join lower class in protesting bad economy in Israel, class warfare within the Israeli army

At least eleven Israeli soldiers, with Kfir Brigade’s Duchifat Battalion, are refusing to follow orders, on the grounds they are not getting any financial help from the military, and they can not afford to buy their own military related supplies.

Military service in Israel is mandatory. Men must serve three years, and women must serve two years.

For weeks now poor Israelis have been protesting the skyrocketing cost of living.  Now the protests of eleven soldiers reveals that the Israeli military is divided along class lines.  The soldiers from lower income families claim they are constantly ridiculed for their economic situation.

They also claim the military is depriving them of meals, and they deserted because they’re going hungry.  They have tried using the chain of command to report what is going on, but have been ignored.

Israel threatens War with Syria, if the UN recognizes a Palestinian state

The Israeli Defense Forces believe they will have to go to war with Syria, if the United Nations recognizes the Palestinian state in September.

The IDF believes that Syria will send thousands of Palestinian supporters to the Israel/Syria border.  The IDF says they will respond by shooting anyone who tries to come in from Syria, and they believe Syria will use that as an excuse to invade.

Instead of not shooting at any future demonstrators on the Israeli/Syria border, in order to avoid a war, Israeli military officials are using this “scenario” to justify drawing up plans to invade Syria!

The IDF also said that they are increasing training in civil disturbances, especially toughening mental attitudes “…because the cadets learn primarily how to fight an armed enemy, and dealing with civilians requires different measures.”

Also, Israeli officials will increase military presence on Israel’s borders, and in the West Bank and Gaza, if the UN officially recognizes a Palestinian state in September.

What Economic Recovery? & Government Incompetence: U.S. to cut trillions in government spending, except for the billions going to Israel

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a debt limit bill that would see more than $2 trillion cut from government spending over ten years.  But those cuts won’t affect the billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars Israel gets.

U.S. politicians said hands off U.S. taxpayer money going to Israel.  Hypocritically, the United States is cutting aid to Palestinians.

It’s being reported that when the Republican party took control of the House of Representatives, they told AIPAC (formerly known as Jewish Defense League) that financial aid to Israeli would not be affected by spending cuts.

Israel gets tens of billions every year from the United States.  That includes money for Israeli companies, the Israeli military, money that’s not officially reported, and interest on some of the money.

Can you believe that, Israel actually gets interest payments on the free money from U.S. taxpayers!  The way that works is that some of the money is held back, and interest is accrued on the funds that have yet to be paid.   One report said that between 2006 and 2008, $2.089 billion in interest was paid to Israel.

Isn’t obvious who really controls the United States government?

Israelis develop pill for PTSD, erase your memory. Can you put someone on trial for War Crimes if they can’t remember?

Israeli researchers claim to have developed a pill to prevent Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

It won’t help with existing cases.  It works by using the hormone cortisol, which scientists believe prevents the “fixing” of traumatic memories in your mind.

Essentially the pill erases traumatic memories, by preventing them from being stored in your mind.  The pill must be taken within 24 hours of a traumatic event.

Studies were done using injections, and were successful.  Israeli researchers think its main use will be on soldiers.

Hezbollah preparing for downfall of Syrian government

“As far as we know, Hezbollah has now accumulated around 45,000 missiles of various ranges. There is one of them with a range which goes beyond 350 kilometers, which, according to them at least, can reach all of Israel till Eilat in the south of the country.”-Dr. Yoram Kahati, Israel’s International Institute for Counter-Terrorism

Intelligence analyst say Lebanon’s Hezbollah, are preparing for the possible fall of the Syrian government.  There is evidence that Hezbollah is moving advanced weapons stored in Syria, back into Lebanon.

Syria is an ally of Hezbollah, and has allowed Hezbollah to store its advanced weapons in Syria, out of reach of the Israeli military.

There is a fear that if the Syrian government falls, Hezbollah might go to war with Israel.

Israel threatens to assasinate Syrian president

A Kuwaiti newspaper reports that Israel has threatened to kill Syrian President Bashar Assad.  The threat was delivered via Turkish officials to Syria.

Israelis are concerned over the mass movements of Syrian military forces, including ballistic missiles aimed at Israel.  Israeli officials fear President Assad might attack Israel as a diversion for the internal fighting going on in Syria.  Israel said if Syria attacks them they will assassinate Assad.

Iran launches ballistic missiles, reveals underground silos, admits targets are Israel and U.S. bases

“The silos are a part of the swift reaction unit of the [IRGC] missile brigade; missiles are stored vertically, ready to be launched against pre-determined targets.”-General Asghar Qelich-Khani

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps officials revealed, on June 27, that not only does Iran have underground missile silos, but they’ve had underground silos for 15 years.

The “pre-determined” targets are Israel, and U.S. bases in the Middle East.  Iranian military officials say they have no reason to build missiles with longer range than being able to hit Israel.   Iran says the only countries that threaten them is Israel and the United States.  They don’t need ballistic missiles that can hit the U.S., because there are so many U.S. targets in the Middle East.

Iran also successfully launched 14 missiles on June 28, including long range ballistic missiles.

Video which starts out with missile launches, and then shows underground silos.

What arrogance! Israel demands that Denmark allow Israeli forces to patrol Danish airports

The Israeli government has stopped all flights from Denmark, because Danish officials refuse to allow Israeli security forces to patrol Denmark’s airports and aircraft.

A new airlines was created to fly from Copenhagen to Tel Aviv.  Israel says they now consider the airline, and Danish airports ‘Israeli Security Zones’.

Denmark offered to let unarmed Israeli security agents to work alongside Danish agents, but Israeli officials refused, demanding that Israeli security agents must work alone and armed.

Danish officials said that would violate their human rights policies.  The new Copenhagen-Tel Aviv flights were supposed to begin July 4.

Former Israeli Mossad boss says attacking Iran a mistake

“An attack on Iran would mean regional war…consider all options and not to run straight for the war option.”-Meir Dagan, former Mossad Chief

Dagan said the only reason Israel should go to war, is if it was attacked first.

He downplayed the U.S. rhetoric against Iran’s nuclear program as sabre rattling: “We do not have the ability to stop Iran’s nuclear program. In the best case scenario we can push it off a bit.”

Dagan is also advising the Israeli government to make war plans that would take into account attacking several countries at the same time.

Israel announces plans to force 30,000 people from their homes

Israel announced they will force at least 30,000 Palestinians from their homes in the Negev.  It will take five years and affect Bedouins (nomads) as well as the towns of Rahat, Kseifa and Hura.

Israeli leaders claim they will “compensate” the Palestinians with territory that’s half the size of the area of the Negev the Israelis will take over.  Also, Israelis say they will pay either money, or construction material, to the displaced Palestinians.

The Israeli government estimate it could cost them $2 billion to force the people out of the Negev.  I wounder where Israel will actually get the money from?

The people living in the Negev say they will resist.
