In Korea (south) the U.S. Air Force’s 51st Fighter Wing has started a Food First! program to help with its Drug Demand Reduction operations.  It’s partly based on studies that show that so-called health food supplements (now considered ‘drugs’) don’t actually work in people who are already healthy: “The program highlights the importance of good nutrition, hydration, rest and recovery, and physical activity in the development and maintenance of good health as opposed to relying on supplements such as multivitamins and protein shakes.”-Lisa Roof, 51st MDG Health Promotion Coordinator

World War 3: Australia, Japan and United States to form new military pact

Japan’s Defense Minister Yasuo Ichikawa, and Australia’s Ambassador to Japan Bruce Miller, have publicly expressed a desire to form a new military pact involving the United States.

Japan already has military pacts with the U.S., and with Australia.  Japanese officials say it is only natural that all three should join into one single pact.

Recently U.S. President Barack Obama announced a pact with Australia that involves basing up to 2,500 U.S. Marines there.

Military analysts say the real reason for military pacts between Japan, Australia and the U.S., is the growing fear of the growing power of China.

Government & Military Incompetence: Dumping of soldiers’ bodies bigger than first thought. Proof the Generals and Admirals don’t give a rat’s ass about you peons, you’re nothin’ but cannon fodder!

“What the hell? We spent millions, tens of millions, to find any trace of soldiers killed, and they’re concerned about a ‘massive’ effort to go back and pull out the files and find out how many soldiers were disrespected this way?”-Rush Holt, U.S. House of Representatives for New Jersey

Last month an investigation was conducted, after three whistle blowers revealed that bodies, and body parts of service men and women, killed in action, were being disrespected by being thrown into Virginia trash dumps.

“They have known that they were doing something disgusting, and they were doing everything they could to keep it from us!”-Gari-Lynn Smith, husband killed in Iraq and whose body parts were thrown in the trash by the U.S. Air Force

The investigation revealed that this is big.  The U.S. Air Force handles mortuary duties at Dover AFB, Delaware.  The mortuary director, Trevor Dean, admitted the practice goes back as far as 1996!

Air Force officials say they threw the cremated remains in the landfills because the family members signed releases saying they could do so.  However, those releases specified the remains would be disposed of in a dignified way.  Air Force Lieutenant General Darrel Jones was asked by the Washington Post if throwing them in the trash was dignified?  His response was: “The way we’re doing it today is much better.”

What’s the new way?  Why, they’re now dumping them in the ocean!  Did these Air Force wing nuts ever hear of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier?

“The Tomb of the Unknown is one of our nation’s most hallowed places, guarded around the clock, regardless of weather, every day of the year. We owe this spirit of reverence not only to the unknown service members entombed at Arlington, but to all those who wear the uniform to protect and defend our freedom.”-joint statement by House Representatives Darrell Issa for California and Elijah Cummings for Maryland

Don’t think the new Defense Secretary, Leon Panetta is upset: “The secretary is comfortable with the way the Air Force has handled this.”-John Kirby, Captain U.S. Navy, Pentagon

Of the more than 2,700 body parts that were cremated and dumped, 274 were identified as individuals.  Obviously there’s more.  For one the Air Force never told the trash haulers, or the landfill operators that they were dumping human remains.  Hell, in some parts of this country (depends on local laws) it’s actually illegal to dump human remains into landfills!

“It’s a moral thing. Someone killed overseas fighting for our country, I wouldn’t want them buried, any part of them, in the landfill.”-Jeff Jenkins, manager of King George landfill

The operators of the main landfill used, King George in Virginia, are considering legal action against the Air Force.

“Obviously, we would be opposed to taking cremated remains of our servicemen and servicewomen and putting them in our landfill. But it sounds like a lot of us were pulled in unknowingly to this unfortunate situation with the Air Force.”-Lisa Kardell, Waste Management, operator of King George landfill

This is more proof that the 1% Elitist leaders of our country don’t care about any of the 99%’s service, we’re all just cannon fodder for their games!

World War 3: Pentagon to kill computer hackers, pushing for cyber weapons

A 12 page U.S. Department of Defense report, given to Congress, says all options are on the table for dealing with computer hackers: “When warranted, we will respond to hostile attacks in cyberspace as we would to any other threat to our country. We reserve the right to use all necessary means; diplomatic, informational, military and economic, to defend our nation, our allies, our partners and our interests.”

The President of the United States would make the ultimate call. But analysts say the policy could open a can of worms, after all, if China was able to trace a hack back to the U.S. who’s to say they wouldn’t be legally justified in attacking the U.S. hacker?

Back at the beginning of November, Pentagon officials revealed they are pushing for offensive cyber weapon systems: “We are shifting our investments to activities that promise more convergence with the threat and that recognize the needs of the Department of Defense. Malicious cyber attacks are not merely an existential threat to our bits and bytes. They are a real threat to our physical systems, including our military systems.”-Regina Dugan, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)

The irony is that most of the destructive computer hacks, and/or virus attacks, seem to be coming from the United States!  Does that mean our own military is going to start bombing our own computer geeks?

Corporate & Government Incompetence: Fake parts found in U.S. military weapons! Blame China, Canada & Britain

“…just the tip of the iceberg.”-Carl Levin, U.S. Senator from Michigan

The Washington Post reporting that counterfeit parts have been found in weapons used by the U.S. military.

A Senate Armed Services Committee investigation found 1,800 cases of more than one million fake parts in U.S. weapon systems!

70% of the parts have been traced to Chinese factories.  20% came from Canada and United Kingdom.  Most of the parts are electronic: “We can’t tolerate the risk of a ballistic missile interceptor failing to hit its target, a helicopter pilot unable to fire his missiles or any other mission failure because of a counterfeit part.”-John McCain, U.S. Senator from Arizona

Here’s a solution: The U.S. military industrial complex should stop using supplies from outside the United States!!!

What Economic Recovery? Military Retirement Pay to be sacrificed on the 401k altar

In the name of providing more funds for weapons systems and combat operations, the Defense Department has decided it’s time to end their traditional retirement plan, and force military personnel into risky 401k plans.

The plan is described in the publication “Modernizing the Military Retirement System”.

Government officials say that current military missions can not be continued without cutting funding from other military programs, like retirement.  Hello, that’s a clear sign that you’re military is overextended! (That’s what happened to NAZI Germany and Imperialist Japan in World War 2)

Promoters say the good thing about using 401k is that a veteran can collect on the money even if they do not serve the full 20 years.  But all those people out there, trying to get by on their crashing 401k plans, will tell you the 401k is no guarantee you’ll have enough money to live on.

What Economic Recovery? Israel to stock up on used U.S. military equipment, U.S. can’t afford to ship it all home from Iraq

Israeli media reporting that the Israeli government plans to expand their military equipment inventories by buying used U.S. equipment now in Iraq.

The report says the Israel purchase of U.S. military gear will help out the U.S. Department of Defense, because apparently the U.S. can’t afford to ship all that equipment back home from Iraq.

The equipment includes everything from vehicles to ammo.

It’s not just Israel that the U.S. will sell to, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are customers as well.  This is just another sign the United States is hurting for cash.
