Occupy America! New York City mayor orders Wall Street protestors out, so the park can be cleaned. War veterans arrested. JP Morgan buys off NYPD

October 13, Reports out of New York City say that the mayor has ordered protestors out, so that city workers can clean Zucotti park.

Protestors will hold a meeting soon, to decide how they will respond.

Several War on Terror veterans were arrested, one a former U.S. Army interrogator in Iraq.  At least eleven protestors in San Francisco, California, were arrested on Wednesday.  They had blocked access to the Wells Fargo headquarters.

On Tuesday, about 200 protestors were arrested in Boston, Massachusetts, and about 27 in Chicago, Illinois.

A former equities broker says James Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase & Company, gave the New York City police millions of dollars to fight the protestors: “…$4.6 million to the New York Police Department to beef up police presence on the streets and to crack heads and to violently oppress protesters.”-Max Keiser, former equities broker

In the past Keiser called JP Morgan “…the biggest financial terrorist on Wall Street.”

What Economic Recovery? Germans join International Day of Rage, everyone lets join the Pirate Party!!!

September 18, several thousand of Germans hit the streets of Berlin, protesting the lowering of wages: “Higher wages lead to more purchasing power. This would strengthen the economy. The government’s policies are counterproductive.”-German protestor

Germany is supposed to be doing well economically, but tell that to the average German worker: “My husband was a coal miner for 38 years. Now he is at home and seriously ill, but of his pension there is hardly anything left after paying the rent, electricity, water and the medicine he needs.”-German protestor

At least one third of Germans are threatened by old-age poverty as unemployment, part-time or mini-jobs in a growing low-wage sector will lead to lower pensions in the future.  This is a trend that’s happening all around the world.

There’s even a new political party gaining strength in Germany; the Pirate Party: “This is a situation in all countries. The gap between rich and poor becomes greater and otherwise we are in a critical situation of finance and economic system in the world. Therefore we need new ideas to solve these problems.”– Alexander Spiess, Pirate Party candidate

Global Class War: 100,000 Israelis protest their government, again

For weeks now lower class Israelis have been protesting the bad economic situation in Israel.  Now, August 13/14, there are hundreds of thousands of protestors in 18 Israeli cites.

Recently eleven Israeli soldiers went awol (absent with out leave) because they were starving.  Military service in Israeli is mandatory, and you must pay for certain supplies, like food, yourself.  The soldiers are from poor families, and instead of getting help from soldiers who’re better off, they were ridiculed.

The current protests are taking place in Tel Aviv, al Quds (Jerusalem), Be’er Sheba, Haifa and several others in what’s called the “periphery” (which means any place outside Tel Aviv and al Quds).

Police are out in force.  Some Israeli protestors are demanding the current Israeli government be replaced.  One arrogant, pro Zionist reporter asked one protestor: “Aren’t you asking for too many things? Don’t you think you need focus? What can you achieve like this?”

Anti Government Protests do work, even if only by bankrupting law enforcement: London Police spent millions dealing with demonstrations

Scotland Yard (Metropolitan Police, aka Met) has come forward with the cost of dealing with all the various anti government protests.

From April 2010 to March 2011, the Met spent $56.7 million to provide security for demonstrations for everything from anti spending cuts, to anti student fee increases, to even elections and a visit from the Pope, and, protecting former Prime Minister Tony Blair for his appearance before the Iraq War Inquiry.

The most expensive single event was the December 9, 2010, anti tuition fee increase demonstration.  It cost $2.1 million.

To be sure, the yearly costs to the London Met wouldn’t have been so high if it weren’t for all the anti government demonstrations.

Egytian Nakba protesters hit by al-Qaeda style attack

Protesters in Cairo were attacked in a drive by shooting. A car drove into the protesters, the occupants shooting into the crowd.  Reports say two people were wounded.  Crowds grabbed one of the shooters, who has ID cards for former president Mubarak’s political party.  This suggests that the new government  might be just a new face on an old system.

On the Sinai Peninsula the tomb of a prominent sheik was bombed.  No other information available.

In another protest by Christians, demonstrating at a state run TV station in Cairo, they were attacked by a crowd of people who threw rocks and fire bombs.  Vehicles were pulled into the middle of the street and set on fire.  The military had to be called in. No other info available.
