Iran claims U.S. and Israel smuggling Crack & Meth into Iran from Afghanistan

Iranian investigator Majid Abhari, says he has proof that drugs being brought into Iran, through Afghanistan, are being run by the CIA and Mossad.  He has some convincing evidence.

First, traditionally opium, and marijuana/hash, were the drugs that came through.  Now, Iranian drug police are confiscating morphine, crack and meth.  Those drugs are considered “western” drugs and are not normally used by addicts in the region.

Second, Iranian police have discovered that transactions connected to the “western” drugs are being made with credit cards.  Traditional drug dealers operate “cash only” businesses.

Iran claims to be the most active anti-drug enforcers in the world.  Last year they seized 85% of the world’s illegal opium.  In the past five years Iran has spent $50 million to fight drug trafficking from just Afghanistan.  Iran also claims thousands of their anti-drug police have been killed.

Iranian police say drug trafficking from Afghanistan has jumped 40 times higher after the U.S. invaded .  According to the UN, Afghan opium production was at 185 metric tons (204 U.S. tons) per year, before the U.S. invaded.  The United Nations says opium production is now at 3,400 tons (3748 U.S. tons) per year (in 2007 it hit a record of 8,200 metric tons [9039 U.S. tons]).

Iran should know how the CIA and Mossad operates, after all, during the reign of the pro-U.S. Shah the CIA, and Mossad, trained Iran’s intelligence agencies (especially the infamous SAVAK).

IRAN SAYS U.S. & ISRAEL BEHIND REGIONAL DRUG TRAFFICKING

Iranian clerics warning of European style Erhal Revolutions

“The European nations will certainly rise up against their politicians and leaders who made them submit to the cultural and economic policies of the U.S. and the Zionists.”-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei

The West has been referring to the uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa as “popular uprisings”, but in locally they’re known as “Erhal” (Irhal).  Very loosely translated it means “throw the bums out!”.

For the past several days Iranian clerics have predicted that the Erhal movements will hit Europe.  It’s not because of religion, but because of social/economic injustice brought upon the common people by their own leaders.

One cleric predicts revolutions for all the world’s countries: “They (the revolutions) will slowly cross all boarders.”-Hojjatoleslam Kazzem Sediqi

Iraqis say Israeli warplanes seen on U.S. base in Iraq

A source close to prominent Iraqi cleric Muqtada al-Sader, say they have seen Israeli aircraft on the al-Asad air base in Iraq.

The aircraft have been taking part in night time training exercises.  The unnamed source says the exercises are part of preparations to attack Iran.

This is not the first time that Israeli aircraft have operated in Iraq.  In 2008 Iraqi government officials reported that the U.S. was allowing Israeli planes to land and take off form bases in Iraq.

Saudi Arabia annexing Bahrain, build base alongside U.S. naval base, preparation for war with Iran

“There are no Saudi forces, there are GCC [Gulf Cooperation Council: Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates ] forces and they will leave when they are done with any external threat. The external threat is a regional one. The external threat is a complete misunderstanding between the GCC and Iran.”-Sheikh Khaled Ben Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain Foreign Minister

Saudi led forces will stay in Bahrain until further notice.  There is also rumors that they will build a base alongside the U.S. Navy base, military sources report that some of the U.S. Fifth Fleet piers and facilities will be made available to the Saudi navy.  The Bahraini government admitted that Saudi led forces will remain until there is no more “threat” from Iran.  No details were given.

Oppression of the Shia majority in Bahrain is escalating, with reports of Saudi and Bahraini forces going into hospitals and dragging off patients.  Saudi forces have also destroyed dozens of Shia Mosques.  70% of Bahrainis are Shia.  The ruling family of Bahrain are not Shia.

On April 30, President Obama asked King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain   to respect for the universal rights of the people of Bahrain.

Tensions heating up between Bahrain & Iran, proxy war between Iran & U.S.?

“Iran reserves the right to hit back.”-Ramin Mehmanparast, Iran’s Foreign Ministry

Bahrain has ordered the second secretary in the Iranian embassy, Hujatullah Rahmani, to leave within 72 hours.  They accuse him of being a spy for Kuwait.

Of course the accusation comes after Kuwait seemingly switched sides.  Originally Kuwait supported the Saudi Arabian led invasion of Bahrain, but has backed off, and even made statements, in conjunction with Iran, condemning Bahrain.

Ironically Kuwait has also made statements supporting the Bahraini government.  It seems Kuwait is trying to play on both sides of the fence.  Iran has expelled three Kuwaiti diplomats, and is threatening to expel Bahraini diplomats as well.

The United States accuses Iran of interfering with Syria, and Iran accuses the U.S. of interfering in Bahrain.

Iranian Vice President shows ignorance of History

First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi has shown his ignorance of world history, in statements made regarding Japan.

Rahimi said Japan should not bow to imperialist countries.  Hello, Japan is an imperialist country, they have an Emperor!

Rahimi also said Japan “…should not pursue the wrong policies of the bullying governments because the same powers hindered the progress of the Japanese nation by conducting atomic bombings against the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.” Hello, it’s called the Second World War! Japan bombed Pearl Harbor first. By the way what Japan was doing in World War 2 was attempting to expand its Empire (reference above).

Iranian reporters show ignorance of military subjects, confuses aircraft with missile

Iranian media continues to release confusing reports on Iran’s military hardware.  Recently they reported on a “sokho-24 missile”.  The article jumps back and forth from calling the “sokho-24” a missile, and an aircraft.

In researching this I realized that what happened is the Iranian journalists confused a military press statement.  The Iranian military had announced that their upgrades to the Sukhoi-24 attack jet had been completed, and that they have successfully launched a new air to ground missile from the Sukhoi-24 aircraft.  The military went on to say that testing with new longer range missiles, launched from the Sukhoi-24, will be next.

The Sukhoi-24 is very similar to the U.S. F-111 Aardvark swing wing attack jet.
