Forever Wars: Steadfast Defender, NATO’s “unprecedented” wargame begins!

Countries that are taking part in Steadfast Defender: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States.

NATO’s largest wargame in decades (NATO itself calls it “unprecedented”) is meant to frighten ‘Near Peer’ threats like China and Russia. NATO announced that the departure of United States Ship Gunston Hall (LSD 44) “marks the first tactical movement of Steadfast Defender 24.”

Sometime between the 11th and 13th of February 2024, in the Irish Sea, NATO-France and NATO-Spain deployed a small flotilla for NATO’s largest ever wargame, called Steadfast Defender. The UGM (Underwater-launched Guided Missile) Polaris Sales Agreement allows the two countries to share nuclear technologies, in the name of a joint defense against a common enemy.  During the non-declared Cold War the enemy was the Soviet Union, today it is Communist China, North Korea and Russia.

In 1982, the Polaris Sales Agreement was amended to include the UGM Titan-2 Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM).

A UGM-27 Polaris SLBM is launched from the British nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine HMS Revenge (S 27).

In 2006, the Polaris Sales Agreement was amended again; the U.S. and U.K. will jointly develop a new SLBM.

Oregon gets new weapons, shoots-up Idaho? More proof the U.S. military is owned by foreigners!

Oregon Army National Guard’s 162nd Infantry Regiment-41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) got two new weapons, new sniper rifles and upgraded rocket launchers.

The MK22 can adapt to use several sizes of rounds; 7.62mm NATO (.308), .300 Norma Magnum, and .338 Norma Magnum calibers. Oregon Army National Guard photo by Major Wayne Chris Cline.

While the 41st IBCT is an element in the Oregon Army National Guard, it is part of the Regular Army’s 7th Infantry Division based on Fort Carson, in Colorado.

The new Multi-role Adaptive Design Mark 22 (MrAD MK22) sniper rifle is made buy a company located within the United States, but that company is owned by a British empire (Commonwealth of Nations) Australian based “Global Munitions Company” known as NIOA.

The new, lighter weight M3E1 Multi-Role Anti-Armor Anti-Personnel Weapon System (MAAWS) can launch different types of rounds, and can be used against lightly armored vehicles.  They are called ‘Carl Gustav’ because they are made by Kingdom of Sweden’s SAAB.
