CALIFORNIA: Healthy Living Network issued a shutdown WARN for its ops in Newark, 128 jobs gone by December! Adventist Health Bakersfield suddenly laid off 20 people at its Bakersfield hospital. Kaiser Foundation Hospitals/Health Plan issued a shutdown WARN for its office in Downey, 69 jobs gone by December. Kaiser Foundation Hospitals also issued a statewide layoff WARN, 85 jobs gone by mid-December. Texas based Concentra finally notified state unemployment officials that it eliminated 182 California jobs back in April! La Jolla Pharmaceutical issued a layoff WARN for its San Diego ops, 166 jobs gone right before Xmas!
German drugs maker Bayer cuts 227 California jobs
FLORIDA: Crothall Healthcare issued a WARN, 70 jobs in Lakeland gone before Xmas. AmeriHealth Caritas issued a WARN, 2-hundred jobs statewide gone right after Xmas! DaVita Labs issued a WARN, 94 jobs in Fort Lauderdale gone by January 2019. Magellan Complete Care issued a WARN, 57 jobs in Miami gone by the end of June 2019. Also in Miami, Sister Emmanuel Hospital eliminating 97 jobs by December.
ILLINOIS: Executive Building Maintenance lost its contract with Stroger Hospital, 85 jobs affected.
IOWA: Country View Care Facility issued a layoff WARN, 167 jobs gone right after Xmas!1
