Dumbing Down U.S.A., May 2018: “MORALE HAS NEVER BEEN LOWER.”

“Morale has never been lower.”: Dumbing Down the U.S.A., May 2018

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”-George Orwell (aka Eric Arthur Blair)

Disappearing Students Syndrome (DSS): A phrase created by me to describe a phenomenon taking place across the United States, affecting both privately and publicly funded schools, from Kindergarten all the way through University levels.

Incomplete (Tip-o-the-Iceberg) list of publicly announced education related layoffs, shutdowns and crimes, May 2018:

Alaska: So much for anti-gun (anti-2nd Amendment) efforts, Anchorage police report a student at Gruening Middle School attacked other students with a razor.  Police arrested a boy for vandalizing the Fire Lake Elementary School, the school has been targeted since March with spray paint and windows being broken.

Alabama: The voluntary Alabama Sentry Program will allow school administrators to carry guns.  A Tuscaloosa City Schools substitute teacher arrested for having sex with a student.  The teacher is actually on contract through Kelly Educational Staffing, and her last name is Lovely.

Arizona: Christians have taken over the taxpayer funded public school system and removed references to evolution, causing one high school biology teacher to quit in protest: “I was directed to make changes to adjust the wording to ‘evolution’. That was coming from levels above me, I believe, from the superintendent’s office. I turned in my resignation and said, ‘I will not be part of this.'”-Lacey Wieser

Arkansas: A man pled guilty to stalking and killing a Sheridan High School student, the reason was stupid, the victim was dating his son’s ex-girlfriend.  A Conway High School student, who is also a father, was shot to death as he got inside his car, police say there are no witnesses or evidence to go on.

California: Dedicated to preventing violence in schools, Richstone Family Center issued a layoff WARN for its Hawthorne location, 58 jobs gone mid-June.  First Student issued a shutdown WARN for its school bus ops in Los Angeles, 174 jobs gone by the end of June!  God powerless to stop ‘his’ Notre Dame de Namur University from eliminating more programs and five teaching jobs due to The Rapture, I mean what I call DSS.  Frederick K.C. Price III Christian Schools issued a shutdown WARN for a school in Los Angeles, 46 jobs gone by the end of June.   A new northern California elementary school is being named after an illegal immigrant.

Colorado: Public schools are being boosted by a population boom and by an oil fracking boom.

Connecticut: A Black Yale Student Was Napping, and a White Student Called the Police

Delaware: The state Department of Education revealed that 44% of students at Stubbs Elementary School were suspended last year.  A Middletown High School student arrested for threatening another student with a gun in the school toilet room.   A lawsuit claims the state Department of Education spends more taxpayer funding on students from high income families, at the expense of low income students.

Florida:  First it was an Idaho teacher feeding a live puppy to an illegal snapping turtle (they are considered invasive specie in Idaho), now a teacher at Forest High School is accused of forcing students to drown live raccoons and opossums: “It made me sick. It made me sick to my stomach! …..took the cages, filled up large trash cans full of water, and had the children drown the raccoons in the cages inside the water, inside the trash cans!”-mother of student who said the incident was also captured on video

Georgia: Northgate High School and Canongate Elementary School locked down prison style after reports of a person with a gun  walking along a road near the schools.  Apparently no such person was ever found.

Hawaii: Schools near the Kilauea volcano shutdown by the goddess.  On Oahu, Waipahu Intermediate School locked down prison style as police searched for a ‘suspect’ that a woman reported as armed with a gun, police found no such ‘suspect’.

Idaho: Despite the fact that it is legal to carry a gun in public, without a permit, and that some teachers can have guns in school in The Gem State, the Lakeland Joint School District is spending taxpayer money on hiring armed guards.  Despite previous lawsuits that revealed that fees charged by Idaho school districts violates the state constitution, districts continue to charge fees and now another lawsuit at the federal level.   Non-profit “emergency shelter, residential care, youth and family therapy, job readiness training, adoption services,  and more for at-risk kids” Idaho Youth Ranch shutdown five of its thrift stores in Blackfoot, Boise (on Chinden Boulevard), Buhl, Emmett and Twin Falls, due to lack of sales.

Illinois: After only nine years Motherland College shutting down after the U.S. Department of Education accused it of illegal activity. High schools Belleville East and Belleville West were shutdown after a male student threatened a female student, the male student was arrested.  A school cop stopped a former student from shooting up Dixon High School by shooting and wounding the former student. Litchfield High School and Junior High was locked down after two rounds of ammo were found in a toilet room, no other info was released because it involves juveniles.  Benedictine University eliminating 32 jobs due to The Rapture, I mean what I call Disappearing Students Syndrome (enrollment dropped by about 2-hundred since 2016).

Indiana: A student used two pistols (not assault rifles) to shoot another student, and a teacher, at Noblesville West Middle School. The teacher knocked the pistols away and subdued the shooter.  Hoosier Academy issued a ‘pending’ shutdown WARN, 62 jobs gone possibly by June.

Iowa: A Linn-Mar High School nurse (who also worked for god’s own Saint Luke’s Hospital) pled not guilty to having sex with a student.  Three Waukee School District schools were placed in ‘non-emergency lock-down’ after one report of a man with guns near the schools, no such ‘man’ was found.  Fulton and Holy Ghost Elementary schools were locked down prison style because of a stand-off between police and three adults after a failed attempted traffic stop, the three adults were arrested but the incident had nothing to do with schools.  Paranoid parents unfairly forced Iowa City Community School District to fire a substitute teacher, after the parents discovered that the substitute was arrested, not convicted, on drug charges ten years ago.  On top of that the drug charges were supposed to have been expunged from arrest records in 2014.  Apparently Iowa City Community School District has a policy of rejecting applicants just for arrests, not convictions, all you unAmerican paranoid taxpayers of Iowa City Community School District can expect a lawsuit. 5th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution:  No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Kansas:  In Derby, after 20 years Blue Dragon Books shutdown due to “family issues”  State law allows teachers to have guns in school, but more powerful insurance companies are blocking teachers from doing so!

Kentucky: Jefferson County Public Schools suddenly laid off 224 people as a result of what I call DSS!  Gray’s College Bookstore shutdown after 31 years, saying “The college textbook industry has changed dramatically over the years, and there is a bunch of things coming down the road for digital delivery.  Small family-owned college stores don’t have a place.”

Maine: After only three years the privately run Portland Science Center shutdown due to lack of customers.

Maryland: Several schools in Baltimore County placed on prison lock-down after a home burglary-in-progress/shoot-out left one cop dead, and four suspects arrested. It had nothing to do with schools, entire neighborhoods were also prison locked down. Ironically one of the locked down schools is named Gunpowder.   Four Glenelg High School students charged with vandalizing the school with ‘hate’ graffiti.

Massachusetts: Paranoid Phillips Andover, Curtis Middle School and Algonquin Regional High School shutdown over various threats.  One school got an email that, after investigation, revealed it might not even have been a threat, and was meant for an out-of-state school! Another school claimed a student had a gun, but police found no such thing!  The third threat came in the form of a note found at a school, yet police said there was nothing to go on in the note, it didn’t even mention students or a specific school!

Michigan:   Van Hoosen Middle School and Rochester Adams High School shutdown after high levels of mercury was found in the drinking water. The federal EPA says 2 parts per billion (ppb) is the maximum safe level for mercury, the school’s average sampling was 56-ppb!   Allendale Public Schools canceled its planned Sex Education Advisory Board hearing, and will ‘gather more info’, due to what is being posted on facebook regarding the school system’s sex ed course.

Minnesota: Taxpayers being raped of $25-million USD to ‘improve’ school security!  A student with a history of mental illness nearly beat to death a teacher’s aid at Harrison Education Center (security camera video shows the student using his fists, no gun needed)!  The teacher’s aid was put into a hospital in critical condition, but get this, a judge released the mentally deranged student to his family because the public defender said being in jail would make the student’s mental problems worse!  A  female Lincoln Park Middle School special ed teacher allegedly confessed to sex crimes with a 15 years old student that took place almost daily over a two weeks period.  Saint Francis Schools eliminating 36 jobs in June.

Mississippi: Due to massive math teacher shortage the state Board of Education lowered the standardized test score to qualify as a math teacher.

Missouri:  The ACLU is suing Independence School District after the district labeled a student’s Craigslist joke a threat.  The 3.9 g-p-a senior, with no school history of causing problems, wrote on the ad site that Truman High School was for sale. Now he can’t graduate.

Nebraska:  Hastings Public Schools refused to allow a graduate from wearing her U.S. Army sash to graduation, even threatened her on the day of graduation: “He pulled me out of line and said, ‘I talked to you and your father and you are not to be wearing that. If I see you wearing that again, you will not receive your diploma.'”-Megan Pohlmeier

The school system has a clothing accessory policy that basically says if the school didn’t issue it you don’t wear it.

Nevada: Bonanza High School teacher arrested for making terroristic threats

New Hampshire: Exalted state Department of Education screwed-up on state assessment tests, and as a result cost public schools $1.5-million USD! There’s now a push to get that $1.5-million issued to 163 districts, somebody send that Department of Education back to school.

New Jersey: Union Schools warning of as many as 2-hundred layoffs due to lack of funding, possibly caused by budgetary incompetence and taxpayer ripoffs by the school board!   Cumberland County College laying off 43 people and considering merging with a competing college due to a steady decline in enrollments (what I call DSS).  A 77 years old school bus driver, with a long history of traffic violations, made an illegal u-turn on a highway, plowing into a dump truck, killing a student and a teacher, and injuring dozens.  But wait, it wasn’t the only school bus that made an illegal u-turn on Route 80, school officials admitted that two other buses also broke traffic rules because the caravan of East Brook Middle School buses missed their exit!

New Mexico:  Taxpayer funded Shiprock High School scheduled christian prayers during graduation, not only in violation of the U.S. Constitution but in violation federal Supreme Court rulings.

Jesus of Nazareth said “Render unto Caesar what is his.”  Meaning if you take part in a government funded system then you play by its rules.

New York: Excelsior College laid off 50 employees due to lack of funding. The Yonkers Board of Education decided to eliminate 251 jobs due to being short $45.3-million USD!  Conduent Education Services halting ops in Utica, 162 jobs gone by the end of the year!

North Carolina: Cape Fear Community College warned employees of layoffs because of “a projected decrease in budget, enhanced technologies and streamlined processes.”

North Dakota: Fargo Public Schools reports that at least 510 teachers and staff were injured by students in the 2017-18 school year, up by 169 from the previous school year!  District officials refused to give news media details of those injuries.  A Bismarck pharmacist already accused of terrorizing students and child porn, now facing new charges of planting hidden cameras to record school girls.

Ohio: Poland School District shutting down Dobbins Elementary School and reducing work hours for employees, in an effort to get outta a multi-million dollar deficit hole.  God powerless to stop ‘his’ own Hiram College from conducting layoffs and radical program restructuring due to The Rapture, I mean what I call DSS which has caused the school to cut $1-million USD from its budget.

Oklahoma: “Some teachers don’t even have classrooms. They keep their belongings, textbooks and supplies on carts and push them from classroom to classroom, hour to hour. I have been a traveling teacher. Like some of our fellow union members who are adjunct college professors and hold ‘office hours’ in their cars and nurses who travel from school to school, fingers crossed, hoping no one at a school across town will suffer a health crisis, it is almost impossible to be an effective educator while carting your work around.”-Melissa Smith

Oregon:  The University of Oregon apologized for blaming the death of one of its students on life-style choices. A school cop, and the North Bend High School principal, both fired for telling homosexual students they were going to burn in hell.

Pennsylvania: Durham School Services issued a shutdown WARN for its Chester Township ops, 67 jobs gone in June.  Carnegie Museum of Art/Museum of Natural History eliminating 76 jobs by July.  Norwin School District laying off eight teachers and jacking up property taxes by 3.1%, because state level taxpayer funding is no longer enough.  Keystone Central School District laid off 34 teachers due to a 10% decline in enrollments (what I call DSS).

Puerto Rico:  STUDENT PROTESTERS IN PUERTO RICO FACE TRIAL AS GOVERNMENT CRIMINALIZES DISSENT

Rhode Island: Warwick School Committee wants to layoff 71 teachers and one other employee because “Even with the closure of six schools in three years, we have a budget challenge”.

South Carolina:  Taxpayer funded teachers join state employees on strike.  A female Byrnes High School teacher was suspended, then officially retired, after claims that she failed to stop students from performing sex acts in class, on multiple occasions. The alleged sex acts were reported by another student, the teacher said when the classroom is full there are areas of the room she can’t see.

South Dakota: A religious group espousing polygamy discovered that without government issued birth certificates you can’t enroll your masses of children in taxpayer funded schools.

Tennessee: A female federal level Congress’man’ blames school shootings on porno!

Texas:  A student, and son of an immigrant, shot-up Santa Fe High School, using a shotgun and a pistol (no assault rifles) he managed to kill ten people (possibly because of the inaction’s of police who were trained for such a shooting, at the very same school).  Friends of the shooter, and even his father, blame pervasive bullying at the school, school officials deny it.   God powerless to stop Sojourn Baptist Church from shutting down its Academy due to The Rapture, I mean low student enrollment.   San Antonio Independent School District eliminating 132 teaching jobs ostensibly to save money, however, an Army ROTC teacher said he was being laid off even though the U.S. Army pays most of his salary!  Houston Independent School District eliminating 250 jobs due to a $115-million deficit hole supposedly caused by crashing property taxes caused by Hurricane Harvey!

Utah: A teacher with Nebo School District says district officials repeatedly ignored her reports of a janitor sexually assaulting boys.  A teacher at North Sanpete High School under investigation for sexting a female student.

Vermont: Taxpayer funded schools are prepping for a population death spiral as lack of babies being born in the state set another record.

Virginia: Taxpayer funded schools use of ‘seclusion’ under scrutiny after a mentally challenged student, who can’t speak, was placed into seclusion, and Belmont Ridge Middle School couldn’t give her mother a reason why!  It was revealed because another student took a pic of the incident on an iPad, The Washington Post reports the incident is not isolated but systemic across the U.S.

Washington DC: God’s own Catholic University of America laying off at least 35 people because of The Rapture, I mean DSS, school officials said “Morale has never been lower.”

Wisconsin: In Saint Nazianz, after 134 years (surviving The Great Depression and numerous recessions) god powerless to stop the shutdown of ‘his’ Saint Gregory Catholic School, due to The Rapture, I mean because they’ve “had declining enrollment numbers for some time”Delavan-Darien School District laying off 39 teachers and an undisclosed number of other employees, due to cash strapped taxpayers voting down a plan to spend an additional $3-million USD just for operating costs.

Incomplete (Tip-o-the-Iceberg) list of publicly announced education related layoffs, shutdowns and education crimes, April 2018:

A Dalton High School teacher indicted for firing off his gun in class.  The incident actually happened back in February, news reports claim the teacher fired a warning shot because students were trying to break into his classroom.

So free lunch for every substitute every day that they’re here on us. How about that?”Charles Shackett, interviewed by KIFI

Illinois: After 17 years Bookworm Bookstore, in Carbondale, shutdown after a failed attempt to sell it.

Indiana: Public school teachers in this state can’t go on strike because it is illegal for taxpayer funded employees to do so. It’s just one of the many reasons the state is suffering from a teacher shortage.  Another reason is that the state’s licensing test is so tough that it has a high failure rate: “You hear horror stories and it got me thinking. I just spent 4 ½ years going through college and heard no one can pass the licensing test, and I was like, would I even be able to get a job? I don’t have the money to take the test a bunch of times, so I just decided to skip all that and go to Ohio where I’d only have to take it once.”-Alyssa Nobbe

Iowa: Parents are upset that a former teacher, convicted in the late 1990s of recording female students changing clothes, has just been allowed to volunteer with a school spelling bee program.   Taxpayer funded employees, like public school teachers, are not allowed to go on strike in Iowa.

Maine: A now former Gardiner Area High School teacher accused of sex crimes with a 16 years old who is not a student at the school.  A pro-2nd Amendment high school teacher so concerned about retribution from anti-2nd Amendment teachers and students that he would talk to local news media only if his identity was concealed.

Maryland: Project Baltimore revealed that 131 teachers in the city are making at least $100-thousand USD per year, and that the starting pay for a new teacher is $45-thousand which is above the median income for people living in Baltimore. The taxpayer funded preschool program is being run out of the Cherry Hill Baptist Church, and that other substitute teachers have been violent with students, one even tried to bribe a student not to tell by giving him a bracelet.

Nebraska:  The results of unchecked immigrants and refugees is that more than 120 main languages are now spoken by families in The Cornhusker State, and school officials now want to get rid of ‘whitey’ teachers and replace them with teachers of ‘color’.   Four schools in Nebraska City were locked down on the same day due to two separate threats of shootings, after frightening students to near death police finally determined the threats were not credible, in fact some additional threats were phoned in from the very schools that were locked down.

Nevada:  9-hundred teachers face losing their jobs because they don’t have required ‘family engagement’ college courses now required by state law.

Dumbing Down U.S.A., March 2018: “A REFLECTION OF THE CHANGING DEMOGRAPHICS”

“Let’s piss in his mouth.”: Dumbing Down U.S. of A., January 2018

Across the United States, in metro areas taxpayers could become burdened with yet another cost of providing inadequate grade school education; housing subsidies for teachers!

The U.S. Army and the Department of Homeland Security are designing a simulation of school shooting situations for teachers.

“We can’t prevent evil, and trying to prevent it by taking away the freedom of law-abiding people is not a price our society should pay.”-HomeSchool Association of California, regarding the 13 adults and children rescued from their “Good Christian Family” home-school-hell in Perris

NBC Los Angeles on home schooling: “Alaska and Idaho have virtually no regulations, while New York and Pennsylvania families must submit annual instruction plans to the district, administer standardized tests taken by public school students statewide and provide academic progress reports.”

Incomplete (i-e Tip-o-the-Iceberg) list of publicly announced education related layoffs, shutdowns and education crimes, January 2018:

Arkansas: Trusty Elementary school could be shutdown within four years due to the outrageous costs to maintain the almost 100 years old building.

Arizona: A now former Ironwood Ridge High School assistant coach arrested for suspected sex crimes.

California: 60% of estimated 6-million students in The Golden State’s grade school system are considered poor and/or English Learners.  An Infotech employee of the privately funded Nueva School arrested for inappropriate contact with a child.  As many as 90% of students in the Twin Rivers Unified School District are living in poverty, now the federal government charging three school workers with stealing taxpayer funded USDA food meant for those poor students!  At Helix High School a female student refused to leave after being suspended, resulting in her arrest. But here’s the ironic part, police say as they were arresting her she tried to leave, i.e. escape, so she’s also facing resisting arrest charges. Things are so bad in Riverside County that Val Verde Unified School District has created its own police force!  In San Bernardino County (the largest county in the world) four school districts (Fontana, Hesperia, Apple Valley and San Bernardino) have their own police forces!  A teacher (who is also a Pico Rivera City councilmember) at El Rancho High School caught on video dissin’ students wearing clothing displaying U.S. military logos.  The cell phone video was posted on facebook by Kimberlie Flauto, at one point you hear the teacher say “Your freakin’ stupid Uncle Louie or whatever. They’re dumb shits. They’re not high-level bankers. They’re not academic people. They’re not intellectual people. They are the freaking’ lowest of our low.” regarding military personnel fighting the undeclared War on Terror.

Los Angeles Times: “A 67-year-old with two Harvard degrees and an international reputation in ophthalmology, Puliafito started using methamphetamine with a circle of prostitutes and criminals while dean of USC’s Keck School of Medicine…”  and now a suspect in the death of a drug addict’s baby.

Colorado: A Thunder Ridge High School student that obviously hasn’t learned much from being in school posted video of himself biting into a laundry detergent ‘pod’.  Hey, maybe it’s a new form of washing your mouth out with soap after using ‘foul’ language?

Florida: After being suspended for a fight at Surfside Middle School a 12 years old girl killed herself, her parents say she was being bullied and the school’s actions only made things worse. After 64 years privately funded Arlington Country Day School shutdown without warning to parents, while class was still in session!  School administrators gave no reason, but promised to refund field trip money (no mention of refunding tuition).  The cost for attending the private school is about $7-thousand USD per year per child: “She said the school was shutting down. She didn’t say why…   I am livid … It’s crazy. At this point it’s crazy!”-Venessa Balan, pissed parent

“I just assumed they were doing fine. I’ve always heard throughout the grapevine that they were doing fine, and had 300 kids. But I have no idea how many they really have because, obviously, they don’t communicate a lot with us.”-Grace Williams, operator of competing private school

Idaho: Six weeks after being hit by a massive ransomware cyberattack, the Jerome School District claims it has restored about 95% of their computer processes.  Shoshone School District hit by federal lawsuit after a 13 years old girl said she was raped in class, it was recorded on security camera video.  A woman is now suing two state lawmakers, accusing them of non-physical sexual harassment while she was a high school page in the state House.

State lawmakers hoping their new Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine will solve at least one of many deficiencies within the Idaho medical system, however, let me remind you that less than ten years ago ‘wise’ lawmakers rejected an Idaho State University  proposal to build a medical school, even after Portneuf Medical Center offered their old PMC West hospital building (located right next to the ISU campus, it was eventually torn down in 2016-17 ostensibly to make room for a VA clinic) as it was going to be shutdown anyway, and a taxpayer funded study (A Proposed Distributive Model for a Medical Degree Program) said it was sorely needed and would greatly boost the local economy!    Idaho news media boasting of record level student enrolments in taxpayer funded grade schools, however, while overall numbers are up they’re not spread evenly across The Gem State, many districts actually lost students like District 91.   Yet another report says Idaho teachers are ‘getting the hell outta Dodge’, this time the study was done by the State Department of Education itself.   In District 25 signs of religio-class warfare as rich Mormon dominated school board wants to end what it calls “student self-segregation”.

Highland High School, Pocatello

Highland High School, Pocatello.

It involves a decades old rivalry between rich-Mormon-brat-prep’s and wannabe-prep’s Highland High School and everybody else’s (including working class Mormons) Pocatello High School (aka Pokey High).

Iconic Pocatello High School

Iconic Pocatello High School. Photo by AAron B. Hutchins.

For decades parents have been able to choose which high schools to send their kids to.  District administrators now complain that Highland High is overcrowded by about 7-hundred rich-brats and/or wannabe rich brats, while Pocatello High School is disproportionately full of poor students whose parents can’t pay the outrageous yearly fees, so to ‘correct’ this “socio-economic” imbalance administrators want to end parental school choice!

Century High School

Century High School, ‘The Prison’.

Another possible covert reason for ending parental school choice is that nobody wants to send their kids to the outrageously huge and expensive and controversial Century High School (I call it The Prison because from Interstate 15 it looks like a state prison).  Several years ago the State Department of Education told District 25 there weren’t enough students to justify the state/federal funding for the school (which was built on land purchased from a relative of a school board member).   District 25 recall petition.

Illinois: Community High School District 155 threatening to shutdown the Haber Oaks Campus and relocate the remaining 90 Crystal Lake South High School student body due to at least five years of DSS (Disappearing Students Syndrome).  God powerless to stop the Archdiocese of Chicago from shutting down five schools (Saint Cyprian School, Holy Cross School, Incarnation School, Our Lady of the Ridge School, Saint Michael School)  due to The Rapture, I mean what I call DSS.  At Morgan Park High School a girl was nearly “stomped” to death for ‘liking’ a boy’s post on social media. Apparently the boy’s girlfriend doesn’t take kindly to other girls liking his posts.

Indiana: Jeffersonville High School student arrested and accused of sex crimes with 17 children.

Iowa: State lawmakers considering making passing a U.S. citizenship test a requirement to graduate high school.

Kansas: A Blue Valley Northwest High School student threatening suicide was obliged by Overland Park police who shot and killed him. Police claim he was trying to run them over with a car.  Some parents of students at Herington Elementary School stood up to christian bullying and halted the 1st Amendment violation of Bibles being forced upon public elementary school students: “The district’s actions in assisting the Gideons in distributing Bibles to elementary students represents a clear breach of the Establishment Clause of the United States Constitution and we hereby demand assurances that this practice will discontinue immediately.”-Appignani Humanist Legal Center

Kentucky:  The state Public School Commissioner condemned the Cordia School building, forcing it to shutdown by February.  A new state law allows taxpayer funded public schools to violating the federal 1st Amendment by using taxpayer funds to pay for Bible/christian classes!

Louisiana: A teacher was arrested after questioning why the Vermilion Parish School Board gave the superintendent a $30-thousand USD taxpayer funded pay raise, when teachers and other school employees have gone without a pay raise for years: “I feel like it’s a slap in the face for the teachers, the cafeteria workers or any other support staff we have.”-Deyshia Hargrave

Maryland:  The ‘bomb cyclone’ that hit the east coast revealed that more than 60 Baltimore area schools had no functioning heating system!  In Rockville: Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) has received multiple reports from community members that one or more individuals is posting inappropriate content on a private social media platform, including nude images of MCPS students.”

Massachusetts: Leftist liberal globalist Harvard Kennedy School is attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, alongside President Donald Trump.   Boston Public Schools accused of sharing immigrant student info with ICE.

Michigan: East Michigan University eliminating 60 jobs due to being short by as much as $5.5-million USD, partly caused by lack of students.  In already-proven-in-court-to-be-run-by-criminals Flint: “The Flint Community High School athletic department and upper level management does not have the students’ nor the student-athletes’ best interests in mind. Specifically, in the athletic department there has been criminal neglect and incompetence on multiple occasions.   I demand that … the entire Flint administration step down immediately for the greater good of Flint schools.”-Trace Fisher, high school football coach

Minnesota: Fridley High School engaged in censorship when they edited out a student’s shirt from a school pic.  The shirt read Deport Racists.  It’s been revealed that the 77-acre Duluth Central High School property still hasn’t been sold, the school was shutdown six years ago.  Doesn’t that make you happy taxpayers happy?  Police investigating claims of sex crimes between a Grand Blanc Community Schools employee and a now former high school student, police refused to give any more info.

Missouri: You can now claim a tax deduction for your private school payment, further hurting tax funding for public schools.  Gov’na Eric Greitens wants lawmakers to extend a taxpayer funded college scholarship program for graduates of taxpayer funded high schools to graduates of privately funded high schools.

New Mexico: Nationally recognized teen NanoForm inventors get kicked out of their Taos Middle School lab, with no explanation.  Their invention sponsor said the school principal wanted them out.  Some state lawmakers want to join the police-state-school system by forcing taxpayers to spend between $25-million and $60-million USD to turn the Public Education Department into its own police force.

New York: As a fine example of where education priorities are with students, a New Dorp High School cheerleader wants 500k tweets so she can meet the Mets for prom!  At least 16 school districts actively engage in School Lunch Shaming of students whose parents can’t pay the lunch bill!   A now former Olean High School special ed teacher, along with his mother, is charged with welfare fraud.  A female New School for Leadership and the Arts teacher pled not-guilty to sex crimes with a 14 years old student.  Local news media described the teacher as “booze loving”.  God powerless to stop the shutdown of ‘his’ 94 years old (surviving The Great Depression and numerous recessions) Saint John Villa Academy, apparently god needs money because The Sisters are conducting a study to see how much money would be made from selling the school.  In Bronx-NYC, at Public School X811 a drug addict was found dead in the school toilet room, he wasn’t a student he was one of the teachers!!!

Ohio: In Stark County, Perry Local School District dealing with the suicides of six students.

Oregon: A contract worker ripped down Immigrant Welcome signs at taxpayer funded River Road/El Camino del Rio Elementary School.  The worker was fired, but district administrators admitted the signs are too political and will not replace them.  Seaside Heights Elementary janitor accused of sex crimes with students.

Pennsylvania: Scranton School Board laying off 51 teachers and all librarians!  School administrators swear student access to the libraries will continue.  Pleasant Valley School District under investigation for using a vending machine equipped with a wi-fi camera to spy on teachers in the break room, for the purpose of extorting them, the district’s supervisor of support staff already arrested.

Rhode Island: The female principal of Harry Kizirian Elementary School accused of knowing about, and failing to report within 24 hours, sex crimes involving a gym teacher and fifth graders.  In 2016 the state law regarding the reporting of sex crimes was changed, and the principal claims she was unaware of the change.

South Carolina: In a fine example of lack of leadership intelligence resulting in taxpayer ripoffs, Berkeley County School District filed a federal lawsuit against an insurance company claiming that for the past 16 years it sold the school district $14.2-million USD in worthless insurance policies.  Taxpayers should sue the school district for signing onto, and paying for, those insurance policies!

Tennessee: A teenage girl arrested for killing another teenage girl from Glencliff High School, by accident, during a burglary spree the girls were involved in.  In a statement the arrested teen said a gun they were using during the burglaries accidentally went off.   It’s been revealed that it is a crime to be a barber in Tennessee without graduating high school! One requirement to get a barber’s license is that you must be a high school graduate, but a crimewave of fake barber’s licenses reveals a failure of the taxpayer funded grade school system.

Texas: Houston based Parker School Uniforms now chapter 7 bankrupt busted, local news reports say all 320 employees were laid off without warning and without final pay!  Houston Independent School District warning of calamity due to new state funding requirements, crashing student enrollments and local tax revenues.  Texas school districts caught violating voting laws by using taxpayer funded school buses to transport voting aged students and employees to polling stations to vote on issues affecting education: “This is the first time this behavior has occurred. That’s why it’s different and needs to be commented on. It needed to be stopped before it got out of hand.”-Paul Bettencourt, state senator

Vermont: Rochester School shutting down at the end of the school year, it’s down to just three high school students.  Parents are concerned because they have no way to drive their kids to the nearest school, after the shutdown.  News media report that the state is experiencing a yearly decline of about 1-thousand-3-hundred students!

Virginia: Exalted state lawmakers finally admit their garde school system is nothing more than a ‘school-to-prison pipeline’.  In one example an eighth grade student was ‘arrested’, suspended and sent to juvenile court after a school cop accused him a stealing a 65 cent carton of milk, which turned out to be part of the student’s free lunch due to his family’s low income!  Lawmakers claim they will now change current laws which requires school principals to report specific misdemeanor ‘offenses’ to police.  In 2015, the Center for Public Integrity stated that Virginia has the highest rate of students being sent to police/juvenile courts in the country.  A 2016 Virginia Tech study discovered that students with disabilities, and ‘black’ students, were disproportionately more likely to be suspended or expelled from grade schools.

Washington: After years of courtroom battles, Washington Inter-scholastic Activities Association (WIAA) and a former high school coach settled a defamation lawsuit.  The coach was suspended for two years when Bellevue High School accused him of violating WIAA rules.  The coach is not seeking money in his lawsuit, instead he wants changes to WIAA rules. His lawsuit against the high school continues.

Wisconsin: God powerless to stop ‘his’ Saint Gregory Catholic School from shutting down due to lack of students, apparently they’re unable to meet the minimum of 20 students required for next school year.

Wyoming: Wrestlers at Kelly Walsh High School are facing accusations of waterboarding a teammate, even allegedly saying “Let’s piss in his mouth.”

Dumbing Down December 2017: “GRADUATION WAS TODAY. DOORS ARE CLOSING. LOCKS HAVE BEEN CHANGED.”

Dumbing Down the United States, 1st Quarter 2015: “we’ve had a 66% decrease in our enrollment!” “I just want to say how sorry I am.” “I don’t think the entire truth is here…!”

Disappearing Students Syndrome (DSS): A phrase created by me to describe a phenomenon taking place across the United States, affecting both privately and publicly funded schools, from Kindergarten all the way through University levels.

Incomplete list of publicly announced education layoffs & school shutdowns from January to March 2015:

Alabama: Jefferson County Board of Education will beginning laying off 160 employees in July!

Alaska:  The University of Alaska Southeast shutdown their bookstore, due to crashing revenues.

Arizona: Dysart Unified School District announced they will kill off 147 jobs over the next three years! Administrators added that the 147 job cuts are just the first round of cuts! Back in November tax burdened voters rejected a school levy that would have jacked up their taxes even more. What gets me is why, year after year, school districts need more and more tax creating levies and bonds to be passed? Where is all that money going, especially the lottery money for those school systems that get money from lotteries as well as taxes?!

California:  The Los Angeles School District approved the elimination of 609 teaching jobs! The LASD is short $158-million USD for the upcoming school year.  Castaic Union School District has approved the elimination of at least 43 jobs. Those still employed will be forced to take unpaid days off (furlough). It’s blamed on what I call DSS, district administrators say the school system has lost more than 1-thousand students over the past ten years!   In Los Angeles, is Obama Care behind the layoff of 15 employees at the Bienvenidos Children Center? The WARN only says the layoffs will take place in April.  Denair Unified School District warned it must eliminate at least 16 teachers, shutdown classes and are even offering a bonus to anybody who’ll take early retirement. Connecticut: In Berlin, The Learning Experience preschool shutdown with ten days notice. The operators blamed “several circumstances beyond our control”.  The Milford Board of Education is planning to layoff 18 teachers for the 2015-16 school year, “primarily stemming from continued enrollment decline”. The University of Connecticut admitted they laid off employees, but refused to say how many.  Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system approved a 4.8% increase in tuition.  In Meridian, God refuses to stop the shutdown of ‘his’ Saint Stanislaus School.  God refuses to stop the shutdown of ‘his’ Saint John Paul II School. Christian administrators officially blame lack of money, but one parent thinks it’s a conspiracy: “I don’t think the entire truth is here because it’s NOT about money!”– Ewald Kuchciak, who pointed out that Christian students are being forced into a smaller school building

Florida: The state Department of Education has ‘failed’ Osceola County military prep school Acclaim Academy, twice, and as a result it shutdown.  In Orlando, DeVry University issued a layoff WARN saying 50 employees will be unemployed in May.

Idaho: In Kellogg, the Sunnyside Elementary school shutdown due to massive population exodus which created what I call DSS: “Since 1970, we’ve had a 66% decrease in our enrollment!”-Art Krulitz, Kellogg School District

Illinois:  Warsaw Community School District laid off 11 employees and eliminated vacant jobs, and administrators are now pushing to jack up local property taxes.  Elgin School District U-46 announced they will eliminate 463 jobs, due to DSS!   The 42 years old Aurora Child Development Center shutting down due to state funding problems. Administrators say the great state of Illinois is at least three months behind on their Child Care Assistance Program payments!  In Harvey, after 23 years Ingalls Childcare Center shutdown. Administrators blamed the bad economy for not being able to pay their employees!   The Adler Planetarium laid off 15 people, blaming lack of public attendance: “We’re trying to make it so that our annual revenues match our expenses. For at least the last few years, we were using money either from our endowment or a fundraising campaign to sustain us.”-Marc Lapides

Louisiana: The Pelican State’s Secretary of State Tom Schedler said he is laying off 24 museum employees and reducing operating hours for state run museums in April. A special election is being postponed until October. It’s part of a plan to cut state spending by $61-million. Politicians are blaming crashing tax revenues from the petroleum industry caused by ‘low’ oil prices.  The Gov’na also warned of massive layoffs for the university-higher education system, saying there’s a $1.6-billion shortfall!  Tulane University warned it must consider layoffs due to being constantly $20-million in the hole, year after year.

Massachusetts: Facing less funding, due to DSS, Marshfield will eliminate seven elementary school jobs for the next school year.  In Springfield, private Curtis Blake School shutdown with short notice to parents. Administrators blame what I call DSS, as usual parents were shocked by the bad economic news: “This is a big huge blow, we weren’t expecting this at all!”-Melissa Sullivan

Michigan:  In Lakewood, the Clarksville and Sunfield elementary schools are being shutdown, the school district is short $1-million! The last two libraries of the Wayne County Library system threatened with shutdown. The communities of Ecorse and Taylor say they will follow the other former library system members and go independent, in order to save money.  Baraga Area School District warned that Pelkie Elementary School could shutdown due to massive DSS: “The primary problem is shared actually across the district. We have been experiencing declining enrollments in a very similar pattern that the State of Michigan has, but it really hit hard about two years ago.”-Jennifer Lynn, superintendent

Minnesota: Minneapolis Public Schools laid off 160 people, with only one weeks notice! Administrators implied most of the jobs were administrative and had no direct impact on education, they claim the money saved will now be focused on education.

New Jersey:  In Manville, God refuses to stop the Diocese of Metuchen from shutting down ‘his’ Christ the King School. It’s the 11th ‘christian’ school to be shutdown by the Diocese of Metuchen, since 2009.  The Trenton School District says it must eliminate 226 jobs, and will shutdown schools due to a $19-million shortfall! But wait there’s more, previous announcements said a total of 350 jobs could be lost, once the state government puts out its final funding numbers for the 2015-16 school year! (and those layoffs are for just one of many school districts!)  Kean University announced it will layoff 54 janitors and grounds keepers. The jobs will be contracted out. University administrators claim they’re trying to cut $3.4-million per year, yet this didn’t stop them from spending $219-thousand on a conference table made in China!  The Paterson Board of Education has decided it will not jack up taxes on the impoverished taxpayers, but it means 363 school employees will become jobless next school year!

New York:  God refuses to stop his 156 years old Saint Patrick School in Tiago County from shutting down.  Administrators say enrollment has crashed & burned, they were able to get only 58 students for the year.  In West Nyack, Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the University of Cambridge (aka Cambridge University Press) issued a WARN saying they will shutdown in June, 42 jobs lost.   In Brooklyn, upscale The Guild for Exceptional Children preschool shutdown, 81 jobs affected.  Corning Community College shutdown its 30 years old child care center.  In Brooklyn, Milestone School for Child Development issued a WARN saying they will shutdown, 73 jobs lost in June.  Grandpa’s Bus Service issued a massive shutdown WARN saying they lost their state Department of Education contract, more than 5-hundred jobs threatened!

Ohio: In Mentor, school administrators announced that Rice Elementary School will shutdown at the end of the school year. The school now boasts the lowest enrollment in the district.  Owens Community College eliminated 50 occupied and vacant positions, as well as cut wages and salaries. They also proposed new taxes, blaming increased employment costs caused mainly by higher insurance and retirement rates mandated by Obama Care!  In Mansfield, School Specialty revealed it had laid off an undisclosed number of employees last week, this after they claimed to be investing $7-million into a new school supply warehouse.

Pennsylvania:  God refuses to stop the shutdown of ‘his’ Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Roseto, and ‘his’ Pius X Junior/Senior High School in Bangor.  Pittsburgh based Education Management shutdown all its Art Institutes across the U.S., killing at least 225 jobs! Education Management is in big trouble with the federal Department of Education for basically bribing students and violating other federal education laws.  In Oakmont, after 88 years (surviving the Great deflationary Depression and numerous recessions) God refused to stop the Saint Irenaeus Catholic Elementary School from shutting down. Administrators say enrollment has dwindled to only 44 students.

Tennessee: After 70 years the Christian God refuses to stop the shutdown of Tennessee Temple University. Local news reports say some student athletes were told about the shutdown, and were also told not to tell anybody about it.

Texas:   God refuses to stop ‘his’ Southern Methodist University from laying off 100 people! The Christian school will also eliminate 50 vacant jobs. Typical of ‘christians’ the administrators are living in denial, regarding their financial status, calling efforts to cut $35-million from their budget “addressing our slight structural budget deficit”.   In Abilene, McMurry University announced it will layoff 12 people in May, blaming DSS.

Vermont: Lyndon State College laid off five employees, blaming a huge decline in enrollment.

Wisconsin:    In Green Bay, Excel Driving School shutdown without notice. Somehow the state DMV heard of the shutdown before anybody else. About 250 paid up students looking for answers and refunds.   University of Wisconsin Madison warned of layoffs: “I just want to say how sorry I am. Because some of the people in this room are going to be impacted by cuts. I know how hard you work for this university and this state… we will get through this.”-Rebecca Blank, Chancellor, apologizing for the actions of Right to Work you over gov’na Scott Walker who wants to cut higher education funding by $300-million over the next two years!

Wyoming: God refuses to stop Saint James of the Valley School from shutting down. Church administrators blame it on what some Christians call The Rapture, or what I call DSS.

Into the New Dark Ages as students ‘disappear’ and Obamacare ‘kills’

World War 3, U.S. Economic Class Warfare Front: Growing number of children denied food, whistleblowers fired!!!

06 June 2013 (18:20 UTC-07 Tango 05 June 2013)/27 Rajab 1434/16 Khordad 1391/28 Wu-Wu (4th month) 4711

“I think the county’s response is probably indicative of a larger mindset that is really frightening right now in the public school system. That we’ve stopped seeing kids as individuals…..Instead, they’re a number, or they’re a dollar sign!”-Katie Kaiser, outraged parent in Kentucky

“He sat at a table and watched his friends eat lunch. He was embarrassed and he was hungry. He came home starving.”-Elizabeth Ireland, outraged that her son was denied food at J.A. Leonard Middle School in Maine

Here’s what dip schtick school superintendent David Walker said: [Middle School] Students are old enough to take responsibility for their lunches.”

Another parent responded angrily: “Take financial issues up with me, not my child!”-Kyla Harrison

“I’m proud that I was able to take a stand where others might not have been able to, and that I can maybe, in some little way, cause a change.”-Johnny Cook, school bus driver in Georgia, fired after he revealed that students are being denied food

Here’s what Johnny Cook wrote that got him fired: “A middle schooler got on my bus this evening and said mr johnny im hungry. I said why are you hungry buddy? Didn’t you eat lunch ? He said no sir I didn’t have any money on my account. I said they would let you charge it? No sir.

Huh! What! This child is already on reduced lunch and we can’t let him eat. Are you kidding me? I’m certain there was leftover food thrown away today. But kids were turned away because they didn’t have .40 on there account .

As a tax payer, I would much rather feed a child than throw it away. I would rather feed a child than to give food stamps to a crack head. My number is (…) the next time we can’t feed a kid for forty cent, please call me . We will scrape up the money.

This is what the world has come to.

A private contracted food service company “…fired four employees after about two dozen students at a Massachusetts middle school were denied lunches…”-Associated Press

But wait, the New York based food service contractor didn’t fire the employees because they denied the students at Coelho Middle School food, but because masses of parents complained!  In other words, the employees were following orders!   Parent, John Greaves, is pissed off: “There are people in prison who are getting meals, my daughter, an honor student, is going hungry!?”

“Parent Katie Kaiser said her daughter who attends R.C. Hinsdale Elementary School was forced to dump out a full tray of food and given saltine crackers and cheese last week during state testing because of a $1.15 debt in her lunch account. Kaiser says she deposited money in her daughter’s online lunch account the night before, but the transaction wasn’t posted by lunch time the next day.”-WCPO channel 6, Kentucky

It was revealed by WCPO that at least 40 impoverished Kenton County, Kentucky, elementary school students were denied food during state testing in May 2013!

“Kenton County Assistant Superintendent Kim Banta says they are authorized to give away only certain foods that the federal government provides the school for free.”-WCPO

According to WCPO, teachers, principals, parents with money and even unnamed donors are now paying to make sure all students get fed.   Gee, we already pay outrageous taxes for public schools and they can’t even provide one meal?

“Students at a Rhode Island middle school…..were forced to go back to class hungry after some of them were denied lunch and others were even ordered to throw away the lunches….24 students in all were turned away….The school’s principal said he is shocked, and has since launched an investigation into the [contracted] lunch provider.”-WHAS channel 11, Rhode Island

“Parents in New Jersey are outraged after learning their autistic son was forced to go hungry all day at school.  That’s because the school denied the boy his lunch…..So the 5-year-old just sat there at Cliffwood Elementary in Matawan and watched others eat.”-WABC channel 7, New York

“I put my number in and they just said that I was short 20 cents and I couldn’t get a lunch.”-Kerstin Hughes, Lakewood Middle School student in Washington

In Virginia, a Montevideo Middle School student was denied lunch, and was told even the so called ‘free’ lunch would cost her money: “….they just took my lunch back and said, ‘Sorry, you can’t have lunch today, and if we give you bread and milk, we’re gonna have to charge you an extra fifty cents.’”-Casey Irvine

KOMU, channel 8 in Missouri, reported that at least 12 students were denied food at Moberly High School.  “…they took his tray from him and dumped it out. My son said he wasn’t the only kid it was happening to. It was happening to other kids!”-Johnnie Carden, angry parent

In Michigan, a Roseville Middle School student was denied food, not because his parents owed money, but because the pre-paid account was too low and the lunch officials were not willing to extend credit: “He just said they denied him lunch.  He said, ‘I need money,’ but that was too late in the day for me to get him any money.  I was never notified by the school.  He just said that they said he couldn’t have it.”-Fred Eckert, angry parent

In Pennsylvania, Millersburg Middle School students were denied food, because the pre-paid accounts were negative $5.  School officials say it’s standard policy. Angry parents say they were not notified about the account shortage, or the policy.

In Tennessee, Mount Juliet Middle School lunch officials denied food to a 12 years old: “They took the tray away from him and said, ‘You can go find 30 cents if you want to eat your lunch’.”-Jennifer Jones, angry parent

And just what did Mount Juliet Middle School do with the lunch?  They threw it in the trash!  Give the kid the food or throw it in the trash, either way the dip schtick food service provider/school still loses the money!!!!

Even the Pope is pissed: “Throwing away food is like stealing from the table of those who are poor and hungry.”-Pope Francis

I’d like to correct the Pope; it isn’t like stealing” from the poor, by denying food and throwing it away they have actually stolen the food from the poor!!!

In 2007 a school lunch lady, in Iowa, was fired for not only denying students food, but intentionally denigrating them in front of other students.  Here’s what she said about low income students: [students] didn’t deserve to eat because they didn’t have money.”-Nancy J. Harvey

But wait, there’s more! Don’t think this is all about money, in one case a four years old was denied his own lunch that he brought from home!!!   In Raeford, North Carolina, the food police at West Hoke Elementary School took her home made lunch on the grounds it was not nutritional!  Here’s what was in her lunch made with love by mom:  A turkey and cheese sandwich, a banana, a container of apple juice, and potato chips.

But there’s insult to injury, the police stateist school told the mother of the child that they’re going to charge her for the crappy school made lunch that they forced her daughter to eat!!!

And in California, an Agoura High School student, with learning disabilities, who normally leaves campus for lunch was prevented from doing so because he scored low on the STAR (Standardized Testing And Reporting) test!!!  In other words school officials were using denial of access to food as a punishment for doing bad on a test!

Here’s what the evil school officials said in response to complaints by the parents: “It’s a privilege, not a right.”

Eating is a privilege?  I thought it was a necessity!

Dumb ‘Mericans: Investigation reveals U.S. Schools continue to FAIL, standardized test scores off the charts

“These findings are concerning.”-Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) has published the results of their investigation into standardized test scores across the United States.

Sompin’ fishy in Denmark! The chilins ain’t gettin’ an edjumacation!

Scores from 69,000 public schools, in 49 states, were compared.  Standardized test scores should not vary greatly from year to year.  The norm is considered 5%.  Yet the AJC found percentages in variation as great as 29.17% (a school district in Rhode Island)!

In many cases, students who scored well one year absolutely crashed and burned the very next year!  If teaching was consistent from grade level to grade level, and the students are answering the questions honestly, something like that shouldn’t happen.

Such high variance suggests the test result were falsified, although the AJC is not going so far as to make that claim.  Investigators are asking the U.S. Department of Education to look into it.

Dumb ‘Mericans: South East Idaho’s School District 25 “flagged” for “suspicious” test scores, again!

In an independent investigation into public school federal test scores, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution found the Southeastern Idaho School District 25 had suspicious test scores three years in a row.

The Pocatello/Chubbuck/Bannock County school district was “flagged” because it had test results that varied from year to year “outside the norm”.

A normal variance is considered 5% from year to year.

In 2008 there was a 13.1% variance.  In 2009 it was 8.54% variance.  In 2010 it jumped to 14.29% variance in test scores from the previous year!

Compare School District 25’s test score variance to Eastern Idaho’s School District 91 (aka Idaho Falls district): 2008; 1.28%. 2009; 6.41%. 2010; 6.41%.  Much closer to the 5% “normal” variance.

Researchers say if education is consistent, and the children taking the tests are answering the questions from their own knowledge, then there shouldn’t be such high shifts in Idaho School District 25’s test scores from year to year.
