U.S. job losses & store closings 24 January 2014: No more AAA? Thousands of Sam’s Club jobs killed! More healthcare cuts!

Incomplete list of announced closings & layoffs.

Major automobile service company AAA shutdown ten offices across four U.S. states (Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin)!  Company officials said that because of the bad  economy they could no longer justify maintaining those ten offices!

What automotive industry recovery? L&M Radiator shutting down operations in Iowa and New Mexico!  Company officials blame the bad economy saying “…..in November 2012 our sales started to drop off…”

A day after Argenta Market blamed Walmart/Sam’s Club for their demise, Walmart announced they will kill 2300 Sam’s Club jobs in 2014!  About 1150 of those job cuts will be salaried managers!

Major law firm Bingham McCutchen laid off 31 employees.

California: Tax sucker Boeing laid off 32 more employees across the Golden State.  In Lancaster, Starwood Hotels shutdown their call center, more than 300 jobs lost!  In Irvine, Baxter Healthcare laid off 74 employees.  In Hayward, Solta Medical device maker laid off 115 people!  Last year Solta Medical killed 40 jobs and shutdown a factory in Colorado.  In Valencia, international job outsourcer Arvato Bertelsmann laid off 174 Golden State employees!

Illinois:  Accretive Health killing 170 healthcare jobs!  In Moline, reports that the Bon Air Tavern closed down.

Indiana:  Medical equipment maker Hill-Rom killing 350 jobs!  Company officials blame the bad economy in Europe Union and United States.

Maine: In East Millinocket, GNP halted production at its paper mill,  256 jobs affected!  Company officials blame skyrocketing costs and crashing sales.

Missouri: In Florissant, Barnes & Noble bookstore shutdown.  It’s part of the company’s plan to close 15 to 20 stores per year for the next ten years!

Montana: In Butte, the Copper King Hotel and Convention Center shutdown, 50 jobs lost.  The owner was trying to sell the operation for at least the past year, but nobody is interested in buying.

Ohio:  Electronics repair operation CP Redi shutdown, 80 jobs lost.  Company officials blame the suck ass economy: “For several years, we have struggled, and even with cutbacks and layoffs, we now find it necessary to close the business.”-company statement

Oregon: In Medford, Togo’s Great Sandwiches shutdown.

Pennsylvania: Kmart shutting down two massive Philadelphia stores, 409 jobs lost!

Exceptional Failed State: Is ObamaCare the new eugenics death machine responsible for skyrocketing deaths of pregnant women in the U.S.?

For the past few years the death rate for pregnant women in the United States has been going up, in fact the United States is the only ‘high income’ country that continues to have an increase in maternal deaths!  One new study shows 2013 was one of the worst years yet, and another study says it’s the bad economy, stupid!

“The United States is among just eight countries in the world to experience an increase in maternal mortality since 2003 – joining Afghanistan and countries in Africa and Central America……The study, ‘Global, regional, and national levels and causes of maternal mortality during 1990-2013: a systematic analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2013,’ published May 2 in The Lancet, ranked the United States number 60 in the list of 180 countries on maternal deaths, compared to its rank of 22 in 1990, demonstrating how it has fallen behind globally. By contrast, China rose to number 57, up from number 116 in 1990.    In the US, 18.5 mothers died for every 100,000 live births in 2013, more than double the figures for maternal mortality in Saudi Arabia (7) and Canada (8.2), and more than triple that for the United Kingdom (6.1).   The biggest increase in maternal mortality by age group occurred in women 20-24. In 1990, 7.2 women in this age group died for every 100,000 live births and in 2013, 14 died for every 100,000 live births.”–University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation

A new study published by University of California San Francisco blamed fear of rising costs of health care for the continuing increase in maternal deaths, even with the implementation of Obama Care.

The researchers found that hospitals with “middling competition” had lower charges than hospitals that had higher labor costs, or were purely for profit only.  However, they also discovered that hospitals that did work for people with no insurance actually had the cheapest charges: “Hospitals in markets with higher uninsurance rates charged significantly less for caesarean sections, while for-profit hospitals and hospitals with higher wage indices charged more.”

In other words, you’re going to pay more for your health care, because Obama Care forces everybody to get insurance!

The UCSF researchers believe the reason more pregnant women are dying in California is because they are totally confused about how much health care is going to cost.  Couple that with the fact that the economy sucks, and that’s why they opt not to get help.  In other words, it’s low income pregnant women who’re being killed off!

The study also found that a person’s “demographics” also determined how much they are charged for hospital care.

Exceptional Failed State: Mystery after award winning cop allegedly kills himself while driving his SUV!

In Washington state, an award winning Liberty Lake cop is claimed by medical examiners to have shot himself while off duty, and while driving his personal sport utility vehicle!

The SUV left the road, driving through two parking lots before stopping in some bushes, apparently after he shot himself.  This happened back on 25 April 2014, the medical exam results just now released.

The cop is described as the police department’s firearms instructor, emergency vehicle operations course instructor and defensive tactics instructor, as well a member of the paramilitary Special Response Team.  He also worked for several other police departments before going to work for Liberty Lake.  He won the Chief’s Award three times.

No explanation why such an accomplished cop would shoot himself while driving his vehicle.  Initial local news reports said the entire town is “stunned” by the suicide of their ideal cop.

U.S. job losses & store closings 23 January 2014: Obama regime directly kills 300 jobs! More college cuts! What housing market recovery? More newspaper cuts!

Incomplete list of announced closings & layoffs.

Arkansas: The Argenta Market grocery store shutting down in February.  The Market was part of an attempt to revitalize the downtown area.  Company officials blamed competition from Walmart,  Sam’s and Kroger.  Blaming Korger is bogus because (if you’ve been following my postings) Kroger has been shutting down dozens of stores across the country.

California: In Sunnyvale, after 93 years upscale Loehmann’s shutdown.  The upper class store went bankrupt busted back in December, guess the bad economy is affecting even the well off!  In Saint Helena, Portfoli Hotels & Resorts Harvest Inn shutdown, 53 jobs lost.

Connecticut:  Foxwoods Resort Casino killed 125 jobs, blaming competition from other casinos (which is BS because most casinos report they are losing money, in other words it’s the economy, stupid)!

Georgia:  In Macon, after 68 years Morris Appliance shutdown.  Local news reports blamed the bad economy.

Iowa:  Wesleyan College warned of layoffs.   At least 45 people will lose their jobs.  16 programs are being shutdown, affecting at least 50 students who thought they were close to graduating.  College officials blame lack of students and lack of money!

Maine:  In Kennebunk, Kennebooks shutdown.  The frustrated owner blames the suck ass economy: “I have given the bookstore the best of my ideas, inspiration and time, and we still do not sell enough books…..I have worked without pay and have operated on a rotating staff of three part-time employees and two lovely students for the summer, and there is really nothing left to take out of the budget!”-Trish Koch

Minnesota:  Minnesota State University Moorhead laid off 20 employees, and forced 21 employees to retire early, due to being short $5-million USD!  University officials warned that if things don’t get better they will be short $8-million by 2016.

Missouri: In Ellisville a Kmart will shutdown in April.  55 jobs lost.  In Maryland Heights, Coca Cola shutting down its bottling factory in March, 102 jobs lost!  Local Fox news TV station said Coca Cola officials refused to say why.

New York: In NYC, upscale snooty Loehmann’s shutdown, 100 jobs lost (see above)!  Sterling National Bank shutdown.  In Pittsford, Too Big to Jail Wells Fargo shutdown their home mortgage office, 25 jobs lost.  In Queensbury, Tribune Media Services laid off at least 20 employees.  It’s due to company restructuring.  In Rochester, Yarn Boutique shutdown.  In Hell’s Kitchen, after 20 years Sweet Gifts/Video Cafe shutdown.  The owners blamed the landlord: “……from the changes to our community and rising rents, we can no longer continue our operations.”-facebook statement

Pennsylvania: “…the landmark housing cooperative community in Vanport…”, Van Buren Homes, declared bankruptcy, despite a supposedly recovered housing market! The housing community admitted it was having problems paying local taxes and was being sued.

Virginia: Newspaper Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star now chapter 11 bankrupt busted: “…signals the end of the Rowe family’s 130-year ownership of the local media company.”-company statement

Washington DC:  The U.S. Office of Personnel Management killing 300 of its own jobs!  It’s blamed on lack of tax revenues.

Wisconsin:  In Whitewater, mattress maker VyMaC shutdown, 42 jobs lost.  The company was sold off and the buyer had no intention of continuing operations.

Baghlan Province: Local police arrested a family after they chopped off the nose and ears of a their Imam! Police say it happened at a wedding ceremony, where for some reason the family accused the Imam of raping their 12 years old daughter.  The Imam is now in the hospital (Afghan news media has published gruesome pics of the Imam minus nose and ears).  Hey, all you Christians in the U.S. and Europe, maybe you should do the same thing to all those hundreds of child molesters posing as Christian priests!

Faryab Province: In Kohistan District, two Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance employees were assassinated.

Helmand Province:  On Camp Bastion, an investigation launched by outgoing President Hamid Karzai has identified three secret British empire Red Coat operated prisons!  The Afghan investigators say dozens of Afghans are being held in each prison, with no documentation for why they are there or for how long they’ve been there!

Kabul Province:  Independent Electoral Complaints Commission admitted that 71 new complaints of election fraud have been added to the thousands already received. They also announced they’ve invalidated votes from 524 polling stations!  Remember Obama and the UN declared the election a “success” even before votes were counted!   Apparently the British empire thinks Afghan reconstruction is Cricket!  An Australian has been put in charge of the Afghan National Cricket Academy: “I’ve even heard the Taliban support cricket. So from that point of view hopefully everything is fine.”-Peter Anderson

Kandahar Province:  On Kandahar airbase, an investigation launched by outgoing President Hamid Karzai has identified three secret U.S. yankee imperialist operated prisons! The Afghan investigators say dozens of Afghans are being held in each prison, with no documentation for why they are there or for how long they’ve been there!

Kapisa Province: In Nejrab District, a U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division Sergeant was shot and killed when Mujahideen ambushed his patrol.  Provincial government officials claim six Mujahideen were killed.

Logar Province: In Baraki Barak District, a U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division PFC was shot and killed when Mujahideen attacked his unit. Afghan National Army officials report they were attacked by Mujahideen as well, however, they claim they did not suffer any casualties.

Nangarhar Province:  The American University of Afghanistan opened for business.

Paktia Province: In Dand-e-Patan District,  several battles resulted in  Afghan National Police and Border Police being killed or wounded.  At least two killed, five wounded. Government officials said Mujahideen were killed, but gave no number.  Afghan National Army (ANA) officials claim they’ve killed dozens of insurgents from Pakistan.  The ANA had to call in air strikes to save their asses from the lesser equipped Afghan and Pakistani Mujahideen.

Paktika Province: In Zeruk District, the Afghan National Directorate of Security and Afghan National Army claims they’ve killed between 49 and 60 foreign insurgents, after 300 foreign insurgents attacked a Afghan National Army base.  Five Afghan government personnel were killed, one captured by insurgents, six wounded.

Samangan Province: In Dara-e-Suf Bala District, a major coal mine exploded, killing 20 people.  25 people are trapped inside the mine!

The Washington Post has revealed that the official government torturer of Afghanistan has been given safe haven in the U.S. by the Bush/Obama regime!  Investigative journalists have discovered that Haji Gulalai now lives in sunny California!  After years working under the Bush regime, Gulalai suddenly ‘disappeared’ in 2009 when Obama became president.

In Maine, U.S.A., it’s been revealed that after the Army National Guard’s 133rd Engineer Battalion deployed to Afghanistan in August, their armory was quietly shutdown!  It was also revealed that the Gardiner City officials knew in advance that the armory would be closed once the Engineers were deployed!  When the Engineers return from Afghanistan they will be turned into a smaller less combat effective unit, that will have to travel to Pennsylvania for training!

In Vermont, U.S.A., someone shot and killed a veteran CWO-2 Army National Guardsmen.  The CWO-2 was wounded in Afghanistan in 2010, however, he got killed in his home state this past weekend after being shot in the head, torso and neck! NAZI cops from two jurisdictions refuse to publicize details, especially who shot the veteran!  Vermont National Guard officials would only imply that they suspect two people assassinated the 25 years of service veteran! The veteran had PTSD connected to his head wound suffered while in Afghanistan, and 11 combat deployments over seven years!!!

U.S. job losses & store closings 22 January 2014: Texas companies kill jobs despite making profits! Target kills 1100 jobs! Massive tech job cuts! More food crisis from Idaho, no more American Cheese? More healthcare cuts!

Computer giant IBM warned of massive layoffs in 2014, after dismal sales in 2013.

Alabama: The largest air ambulance service in the United States, Air Evac Lifeteam, shutdown Air Evac 64 operations in Wetumpka!  Company officials directly blamed issues with Obama Care and the bad economy: “The reimbursement issue, along with a low demand for patient transports, made it impossible for us to sustain operations at the base.  As a result of the state’s decision not to expand Medicaid, nearly a quarter of the residents we fly in Alabama are self-pay with very little means to pay medical expenses. For those patients covered by Medicaid, they currently reimburse just over $500 for the transport of an adult. The high fixed cost of air ambulance makes it impossible for us to continue to operate with no indication of improvement in sight.  We’ve been taking a loss with this base for many years. This is an area where air medical services are needed and we wanted to provide this valuable resource for the people in this region.  We’ve also seen a decline in commercial reimbursement rates, making Alabama the lowest state in our 15-state service area for reimbursement.”

California:  In Los Angeles, Japanese owned Sony Imaging killing jobs by moving operations to British Columbia, Canada.  In Pomona, Quad/Graphics shutdown their factory, 62 jobs lost.

Florida: CenterState Bank shutting down 13% of its offices, killing 57 jobs.  Bank officials blamed the bad economy for declining revenue.

Idaho: In Gooding, Glanbia Foods officials warned of layoffs saying “….we are actively pursuing a number of strategic growth opportunities, the current milk supply situation in Idaho is extremely tight.”  Glanbia Foods claims to be the number one manufacturer of American Style Cheese, with four factories in Idaho and the world’s largest cheese factory in New Mexico!

Illinois:  Sears shutting down their flagship store in Chicago.  Company officials claim the store has lost “millions” since 2001.

Iowa: In Marengo, Quad/Graphics shutdown their factory, 138 jobs lost!

Minnesota:  Retail giant Target killed 475 jobs at their HQ, and killed another 700 unfilled positions across their retail operations!

Missouri:  In Saint Louis, business litigation company Husch Blackwell laid off 25 employees. It’s blamed on the bad economy: “Our firm, like many of our clients, is being challenged to do more with less…..”

Nevada: In Las Vegas, Too Big to Jail Bank of America laid off 77 employees.  BoA is ending its Las Vegas operations.

New Mexico:  Western New Mexico University warned of layoffs and tuition increases, due to lack of student enrollment!

New York: Swiss owned legal drugs pusher Novartis announced it will shutdown it’s New York factory by 2016.  525 jobs lost!  Novartis has been getting into trouble around the world, because most of its drugs do not work!  In Japan whistleblowers revealed that so called independent university studies on Novartis drugs were actually done by Novartis employees!

Ohio:  Two Kmarts being shutdown, one in Westlake, one in Xenia.  About 100 jobs lost!

Texas:  Tech giant Texas Instruments laying off 1100 people!  The company is also cutting hundreds of millions of dollars from investments into new operations.  This all despite revenues for Texas Instruments going up!  In Fort Worth, tax sucking Bell Helicopter killed 115 engineer jobs, despite making profits!  Company officials say they need to kill jobs to remain “competitive”.

Wisconsin: In Sussex, Quad/Graphics warned of massive layoffs due to the bad economy.

World War 3, Iran: Obama regime allows Boeing & GE to avoid sanctions! Direct flights to resume after 35 years of sanctions?

Despite tough talk against Iran, the Obama regime is allowing some U.S. companies to violate the Obama regime’s own sanctions against Iran.

Today it’s been revealed that Boeing and GE will be allowed, by the Obama regime, to sell aircraft to Iranian airlines, and airlines will be able to resume direct flights between the U.S. and Iran!  Direct flights have been on hold (by the U.S. government) since the successful 1979 revolution against the U.S. puppet government in Iran.

The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization hopes direct commercial flights can begin by 2025.

At the beginning of April it was quietly revealed that the U.S. Department of Treasury is allowing Boeing and General Electric (GE) to sell aircraft parts to Iran, under the guise of ensuring “safety” of international flights.  Some government officials even used the mysterious disappearance of MH370/CZ748 as an excuse for letting big U.S. corporations avoid Obama regime sanctions.

U.S. made aircraft parts have been blocked from being sold to Iran ever since the U.S. Reagan regime imposed sanctions in the early 1980s (and then Rumsfeld paid Iraq to invade Iran).

If you’ve been following the economic news you’d be able to figure out that the real reason for allowing Boeing and GE to do business with Iran is because they are losing their asses financially.  It looks like the crony U.S. capitalist system is such a failure that the U.S. government has to back off it’s tough rhetoric against ‘enemy’ countries.

Iranian airlines say they want to buy at least 400 Boeing made airliners, which could save the faltering company’s ass.

U.S. Civil War 2014: War rages in Chicago! Two killed, seven shot and wounded! Police no help!

From Tuesday evening to just a couple of hours ago, dozens of shootings rang out in Chicago-land.  Pathetic NAZI cops say they have no suspects!

At least seven wounded in separate shootings.

In an area called Back of the Yards, three men and one woman were shot and wounded, apparently for no reason.  This is the same area were a 14 years old girl shot and killed another girl on Monday.

Later at night a 16 years old boy was shot in the hand, supposedly by someone who stepped out of a car.   Then early this morning two men in the Lawndale area were shot and wounded by people shooting from a van.

And on Monday, all that anti-gun bull shit failed to stop a woman from stabbing her boyfriend to death, in front of his eight years old son!  Court records say she did it because her boyfriend didn’t buy her anything at the shopping mall!

More and more ex-military Mine Resistant Armored Protected (MRAP) vehicles are being seen in small rural communities across the U.S.  Just last week I drove past a sand colored MRAP while driving down Garret Way in Pocatello, Idaho.

No, it can’t be for Pocatello or Bannock County, because Bannock County already spent big bucks on a brand new armored BearCat (similar to those armored cars seen patrolling Boston Strong).  So what was the MRAP doing in Pocatello?

I found some reports that said the U.S. Department of Defense Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO) is giving away MRAPs to rural towns.  If that’s the case why did private donors waste all their money (at least $200-thousand USD) buying a brand new BearCat for the Bannock County Sheriff’s Department?

The most recent recipient of a free ex-military MRAP is the Willimantic Police Department in anti-2nd Amendment Connecticut. It’s strange that they got a free MRAP, a Willimantic cop even contradicted himself when he tried to explain the necessity for such a monster vehicle: “This is not a violent city. But we have a lot of narcotics here, a lot of high risk warrants. We have the need here, and now we have the equipment.”-Stan Parizo Jr, SWAT team leader

I’ve also discovered that many websites are calling all heavily armored wheeled vehicles MRAPS.  To be sure the BearCat could be qualified as an MRAP, but it is not used by the military.  What I saw last week is specifically a military issued MRAP, possibly first generation as I’ve yet to find a pic of the beast on the internet, finding only pics of newer MRAPS (It looked similar to the British empire made BAE Caiman.  I knew I should’ve whipped my camera out!).

Other reports I found said the free ex-military MRAPs are only “on loan” from the Department of Defense.   A Mason City, Iowa, reporter was surprised to find out that two of three city council members were totally unaware that their small police department just got a free “on loan” MRAP! 

The following list are small cities that have received supposedly free, possibly “on loan” ex-military MRAPs:

Eureka, California, population 27-thousand

Watertown, Connecticut, population 22-thousand

Willimantic, Connecticut, population 17-thousand

Caldwell, Idaho, population 47-thousand, on waiting list for free MRAP

Boise, Idaho, population 212-thousand, British empire BAE Caiman category 1  MRAP.  In November 2013, the city NAZI cops used their MRAP, as well as calling neighboring Nampa’s MRAP, to arrest one man suspected of kidnapping.  The cops claimed they had reason to believe the man was armed with high velocity guns and even bombs!

Nampa, Idaho, population 84-thousand, British empire BAE Caiman category 1 MRAP.  Nampa cops claim they need the MRAP because they shot up their Cold War era armored truck.  They wanted to test the armor on the truck and they claim they were able to shoot through it with handguns and BB guns!  That’s bullshit because a BB gun can’t even penetrate your skin, I know because I pulled a BB out of the skin of a childhood friend who was shot with one point blank in the throat!

Preston, Idaho, population 5100 (yes, this is the town used in the movie Napoleon Dynamite), International MaxxPro category 1 MRAP.  Preston’s Police Department consists of six cops!!!  Here’s how the ignorant Mormon Preston police chief justified having an MRAP: “There isn’t much violent crime in Preston, but how much does it take? There wasn’t much crime in that little Connecticut town before Sandy Hook, but it would have been nice if they would have had an MRAP on the day of the school shooting.”-Ken Geddes

Please explain how having an MRAP would’ve changed what happened at Sandy Hook!  The deed was done by the time cops arrived on scene!

U.S. Civil War 2014: Maryland cop tries to terminate victim in Pennsylvania! Prescription drugs involved? More proof cops are criminals!

A Baltimore City cop, who lives in Pennsylvania, tried to assassinate his neighbor!  To add insult to injury, he was the one who called 911!

The victim was sitting in a car when he was shot, but is in stable condition in hospital despite being hit several times.

A nurse who lives on the same city block described the murderous cop (now charged with attempted murder) as appearing to be on drugs: “His gun was already holstered. He was very distraught, as if he was in a daze.”-Helen Hoffman

It turns out this same Maryland cop tazered and shot to death a fellow Baltimore cop, in 2008!  It should be pointed out that the victim was not only a cop but also the leader of a motorcycle gang, and had attacked the cop who shot him!  An investigation found the victim never announced himself as a fellow cop.  Sounds like a lot of crooked cops working for Baltimore.
