05APR2024: Following Israel’s example, Ecuador attacks Mexico’s embassy!

“This is a flagrant violation of international law and the sovereignty of Mexico…”-Andrés Manuel López Obrador (aka AMLO), President of Mexico

On the evening of 05APR2024, Ecuador conducted a police raid of Mexico’s embassy, in violation of international law!  Mexico says it is now ending diplomatic relations with Ecuador.

Ecuadorian police raided Mexico’s embassy because former Ecuadorian vice-president Jorge Glas had been taking refuge in the embassy since December 2023: “I am very worried because they could kill him. There is no basis to do this, this is totally outside the norm!”-Roberto M. Canseco, Mexican Chancellery & Political Affairs

Ecuador has declared the Mexican ambassador Raquel Serur Smeke ‘persona non grata’.

On 18MAY2023, House Resolution 420 calls for the impeachment of President Joseph Robinette Biden Junior, among the many reasons are “President Biden has allowed aliens to enter the United States in violation of the immigration laws, admitted aliens who have tested positive for COVID–19 during the pandemic into the United States, thwarted the will of Congress as set forth in duly enacted law by not completing the southern border wall, and deprived border agents of the sufficient manpower and resources needed to secure the border and its physical infrastructure.”

World War 3: Central & South America rethinks support for Israel! MERCOSUR condemns Israel, ends Free Trade Deal!

30 July 2014 (07:01 UTC-07 Tango)/02 Shawwal 1435/08 Mordad 1393/04 Xin-Wei (7th month) 4712

“We condemn criminal genocidal policy and the warlike actions of the Government of Israel against the Palestinian people, treacherously murdering civilians including women and children…..we demand the suspension of the bombing, occupation and the blockade of the Palestinian territory!  Moreover, we call on the governments of MERCOSUR to adopt the measure of immediate suspension of the Free Trade Agreement with the State of Israel.”-MERCOSUR/MERCOSUL 29 July 2014

At this point almost half a dozen Central and South American countries have recalled their ambassadors from Israel, to protest the war on Gaza Strip: El Salvador, Ecuador, Chile, Peru and economic powerhouse Brazil.

To show you how arrogant the Israelis are, Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor called Brazil a “diplomatic dwarf” adding that by recalling their ambassador Brazil is now “irrelevant”!

Argentina openly condemned Israel at the recent UN Security Council meeting.

Bolivia’s President Evo Morales is demanding sanctions against Israel.

MERCOSUR/MERCOSUL (Southern Common Market) held a meeting on 29 July 2014, and Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela condemned the “disproportionate use of force” by Israel against civilians.

The Caribbean country Cuba ended ties with Israel in 1973.

World War 3, South American Front: Chevron declared Enemy of the State! Chevron threatens Argentina!

19 August 2013 (14:44 UTC-07 Tango)/12 Shawwal 1434/28 Mordad 1391/13 Geng-Shen (7th month) 4711

“We are going to tell Latin America what Chevron has done in our country to shirk its responsibility, with that criminal campaign that it’s waging against Ecuador.”-Rafael Correa, democratically elected President of Ecuador

California based Chevron oil company has been declared by Ecuador to be an Enemy of the State!

That charge is based on the idea that any corporation that takes over another corporation economically, must also inherit any social/environmental responsibilities.  Chevron took over Texaco, which operated for decades in Ecuador, and created at least $19 billion USD in environmental destruction, that is still ongoing.  Chevron has refused to take responsibility for Texaco’s crimes.

President Correa, an economist educated in Europe and the United States, made the announcement about Chevron the same day he gave up on his plan to protect the Amazon rainforest from further oil drilling: “With deep sadness but also with absolute responsibility to our people and history, I have had to take one of the hardest decisions of my government.”

That plan failed due to the fact that not enough countries were willing to support the idea.  Only $13 million of the needed $3.6 billion in funding was collected.  It shows you that most leaders of most countries still believe in black gold!

Chevron has countered, but instead of targeting Ecuador, Chevron is targeting Argentina!  Chevron raved in a public statement “That illegitimate Ecuadorian sentence threatens to make its effects resonate in Argentina, impacting subsidiary companies of Chevron who have nothing to do with the Ecuadorian judicial fraud.”

Chevron is now targeting Argentina’s YFP (Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales), which was partially seized in 2012 from Spain’s Repsol oil company.  That same year Argentina’s President, Cristina Fernandez, gave Chevron huge rights in YFP in exchange for billions of U.S. dollars.  Chevron now threatens to pullout of YFP if Argentina does not influence Ecuador to stop ongoing legal battles against Chevron.

World War 3: South America united against British Empire! UNASUR 7 point resolution demands U.K. obey international laws, hopes for peaceful settlement

Declaration of Guayaquil
IN SUPPORT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ECUADOR
THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF UNASUR

The Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of UNASUR extraordinary meeting in the city of Guayaquil, on August 19, 2012, considering:

That the Minister of Foreign Trade and Integration of Ecuador, informed the Council that the citizen Julian Assange, requested on 19 June 2012, political asylum in the Embassy of Ecuador in London, a matter on which the Governments of Ecuador, the U.K. and Sweden, have been holding diplomatic talks about the demands for the extradition of Mr. Assange and the request for asylum;

That Ecuador was considering the request for asylum in accordance with the principles of protection of human rights and international law;

On 15 August, the Government of the Republic of Ecuador was notified in a U.K. memorandum a threat to “take action to arrest Mr. Assange in the current facilities of the Embassy” by invoking its national law on facilities diplomatic and Consular of 1987 (diplomatic and Consular Premises Act 1987);

That pursuant to Article 22 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, of which the U.K. is a signatory, “premises of the mission shall be inviolable. The agents of the receiving State may not enter them without the consent of the Head of Mission” and that “the premises of the mission, their furnishings and other property thereon and the means of transport of the mission may not be immune from search, requisition, attachment or execution”;

That according to the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, states must refrain from the threat or use of force or to act in any other manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations in international relations, and solve their differences peacefully.

That the Security Council of the United Nations, in SC/10463 press release of November 29, 2011, condemned in the strongest terms violations of diplomatic immunity and recalled the fundamental principle of the inviolability of diplomatic missions states consular receptors in relation to the provisions of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.

UNASUR declaration:

1. Express its solidarity and support to the Government of the Republic of Ecuador to the threat of violation of local diplomatic mission.

2. Reaffirm the sovereign right of states to grant asylum.

3.  Strongly condemn the threat of use of force between states and to reiterate the full observance of the principles enshrined in international law, respect for sovereignty and the faithful observance of international treaties.

4. 5. Reaffirm the principle of international law under which no law can be invoked for failure to complete an international obligation, as well is reflected in Article 27 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties of 1969.

6.  Reiterate the relevance of institutions of asylum and refuge to protect the human rights of people who believe that their life or limb is threatened.

7.  Urge the parties to continue dialogue and direct negotiations in search of a mutually acceptable settlement under international law.

World War 3: Ecuador to pursue legal action against Britain, over Julian Assange asylum

17 August 2012, Ecuadorian presidential staff adviser, Alexis Mera, announced: “We are open to discuss with Britain the solution to this problem, and if there is no diplomatic solution, we may resort to the International Court of Justice.”

Ecuadorian Foreign Minister, Ricardo Patino, also said that the Swedish sex crimes trial is just a ruse, that Assange would be handed over to the United States as soon as he arrived in Sweden. This qualifies Assange for protection under the “fair trial” clause of the internationally accepted (excepted for the United Kingdom) asylum rules.

“They have to comply with diplomatic and legal obligations under the 1951 UN Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, and respect the sovereignty of a country that has granted asylum.”-Baltasar Garzon, Assange legal team

Oil & Gas Prices: U.S. oil sanctions have actually increased Iranian oil sales! Saudi oil sales increase! Algeria oil increase! Ecuador oil increase! Iraq planning to avoid Strait of Hormuz

According to the Joint Organization Data Initiative (JODI), Iranian oil sales have gone up since the United States started their sanctions games last year!

In January 2012, Iran exported 2.265 million barrels per day. The highest since December 2008!

Of course part of the increase is from customers stocking up now, ’cause they’re afraid the Iranian oil supply will end due to new sanctions and a possible war (again, no thanks to the United States, European Union and Israel).

Those same sanctions, and threats of war, have also increased Saudi Arabian oil sales to the United States.  U.S. officials managed to get Saudi officials to change their minds about not increasing oil production, at a recent IEF meeting.

Canadian media reporting that Saudi oil exports to the U.S. have already increased by 25%.

Algeria and Ecuador have also increased oil production.  Algeria by 18%, Ecuador by 41%!

All this comes at a time when oil industry leaders say there is plenty of oil in the system. It could be a sign of stockpiling before the Third World War gets going full throttle.

Iraq is preparing by planning oil shipment routes that will avoid the Strait of Hormuz. They plan to build new pipelines to Turkey: “Short and mid-term plans will be through boosting crude pumping and upgrading export capacity via Ceyhan port in Turkey. Also to increase the number of trucks that are shipping crude.”-Iraqi government statement

World War 3: Ecuador refuses to recognize Libyan Rebels

“Unfortunately, the (UN) resolutions have been used to justify a war of aggression aimed, ultimately at control of (Libya’s) natural resources.”-Ricardo Patino, Ecuadorian Foreign Minister

Ecuadorian officials say they can not recognize the Libyan rebel Trans National Council because they are a creation of foreign intervention.  Ecuador believes this is a trend of regime change, by the United States and Europe, that will lead  to the “disappearance” of many governments.

Ecuador says the UN approved NATO attacks on Libya is proof that the United Nations needs to be changed.

Like Bananas? They might become extinct no thanks to Black Sigatoka, more food crisis woes

Ecuadorian scientists want to create a genetically modified Banana.  They say it’s the only way to keep Bananas in their country from going extinct.

“…something that we can be sure of is that the Sigatoka will not lose its battle.  As soon as we can get a new fungicide, the disease becomes more resistance. Replacing the Cavendish banana (dominant variety today) for another type, by genetic engineering, is the only answer.”-Emile Frison, International Network for the Improvement of Banana and Plantain

Apparently the use of fungicides has resulted in a super fungus that is resistant to chemicals.  Ecuadorian officials are warning against using too much fungicide.

Another motivator for a GMO Banana, is competition.  Farmers say they just can’t make enough money on each box of Bananas,  mainly because of the cost of fighting the fungus Black Sigatoka.
