Twice proven in Court, PayPal, ebay, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, et al. Working with government to shut you down & steal your cash! British empire connection!

05 November 2022 (02:18-UTC-07 Tango 06) 14 Aban 1401/10 Rabi ‘ath-Thani 1444/12 Xin-Hai 4720/05 ноября 2022 года

After two lawsuits, in 2020 and 2021, Doctor Shiva Ayyadurai, who is also a politician from Massachusetts, not only proved that social media and e-commerce was working with governments to shut-down free speech, but he revealed how they do it!

Dr. Shiva understands the interweb, he is credited with creating email!

Notably, the founder of ebay, Pierre Morad Omidyar, helped to create the ‘Censorship Infrastructure’ system!  Remember, ebay bought-out PayPal in 2002.

Forbes, October 2022: “A part of PayPal’s user agreement that says any customer in violation of the platform’s ‘acceptable use’ policy is subject to a $2,500 fine has been in place since at least 2013, according to the website’s archive. The fine had largely gone unnoticed until earlier this month when PayPal updated its acceptable use policy…”

Now, Dr. Shiva questions Elon Musk’s take-over of Twitter, because Pierre Morad Omidyar is considered a ‘colleague’ of Musk!

It starts with something called Backdoor Portals, created by the social media tech giants themselves, then turned over to government agents who use the portals to spy on you.

They use five published manuals called Playbooks, first created in the United Kingdom, where the spy program was first tried out on British residents, then revised and update by U.S. university Harvard.

More Economic Decline: Idaho mall loses yet another anchor store! Lazy ‘Experts’ continue to blame online sales!

31JAN2018, 20:16 UTC-07 Tango 06  (12 Bahman 1396/15 Jumada l-Ula 1439/16 Xin-Chou 4715)

Chubbuck Herberger's

Bon Ton owned Herberger’s announced it will exit its Pine Ridge Mall location, in Chubbuck, when the inventory runs out.  The official reason is crashing sales, including declining online sales. However, and as usual, local news media turned to so called experts who lazily blamed it on internet competition and people supposedly spending big bucks on gas to drive to the state of Utah to do their shopping!

First of all, Bon Ton and Herberger’s have their own websites where you can buy their crap!

Back in November 2017 Bon Ton announced it would shutdown 40 stores, including some Herberger’s, across the U.S. in 2018. Despite also selling online, Bon Ton’s family of department stores revealed they had lost $44.9-million USD in Bon Ton’s 3rd quarter of 2017!

Today, Bon Ton published its shutdown list for 2018, and the Chubbuck Herberger’s is at the top of the list.

Also today, internet selling site ebay reported a massive loss of $2.6-billion USD (not counting losses caused by the new U.S. tax laws), and that’s just for its 4th quarter of 2017!

Secondly, I’ve been hearing the old “people are driving to Salt Lake” excuse since 2001.  It’s a bullshit excuse mainly because why the hell would people drive their gas guzzling SUV and pickups out-of-state to go shopping?  The majority of jobs in eastern Idaho don’t pay their employees well enough to afford such a luxurious shopping trip! (approximate round-trip driving distance from Pocatello, Idaho, to Salt Lake City, Utah, is 336miles/540km)

Guess what? Retailers in Salt Lake City have been shutting down!

The truth is that ‘wise christian’ leaders in Bannock County began driving off all the good paying jobs from the Pocatello/Chubbuck area in the late 1990s (with Union Pacific suffering the biggest loss of jobs, in the thousands) and that trend has never been reversed (death spiral).     I remember in the late 1990s, one local official (a member of the dominant ‘christian’ sect) stated that industrial jobs were bad because they were the cause of local crime.  Last laugh’s on that exalted politician of god, because crime is so bad now that the Bannock County Sheriff repeatedly begs cash strapped taxpayers to approve funding a new county prison to deal with prison overcrowding!

KPVI interviewed a local labor force ‘expert’ who actually said Herberger’s shutdown could “be a blessing in disguise” for the 46 soon-to-be-unemployed-employees, because he believes the local economy is so good they’re sure to find better jobs!

Herbergers moved into the two story anchor location at Pine Ridge Mall, which was former home to ZCMI, May Company and Dillards.  They were true two story operations, but Herberger’s is a single story operation.  Apparently the top floor is being used for storage and office space.

ebay & PayPal begin evicting employees, en masse! AOL joins internet job destruction!

03 February 2015 (10:39 UTC-07 Tango 01)/13 Rabi ‘ath-Thani 1436/14 Bahman 1393/15 Bing Yin (12th month) 4712

“Media and technology are drastically evolving to keep up with today’s consumer. The lines are becoming blurred, and as you well know, our industry is converging at a faster pace than anyone predicted.”-Bob Lord, president of AOL

Reports coming in that California based ebay, and its soon to be sold off electronic payment processor PayPal, began laying off employees.

Some say PayPal’s payment processing services like mobile payments and personal credit card readers are not generating enough revenue.  Most PayPal layoffs involve those services.

ebay is laying off employees in their Marketplaces and Enterprise divisions.  ebay will be split up into two companies in the second half of 2015, which will result in even more layoffs.

New York based AOL (formerly America OnLine) announced they will kill off 150 advertising jobs!  Business Insider is also reporting that their sources say dozens of AOL employees have been voluntarily quitting since December.

ebay kills at least 24-hundred jobs, is it vulture capitalist investors?

It’s the Economy, stupid! Or, is it vulture capitalist investors? Iconic ebay kills at least 24-hundred jobs in 2015!

22 January 2015 (12:02 UTC-07 Tango)/01 Rabi ‘ath-Thani 1436/02 Bahman 1393/03 Yi-Chou (12th month) 4712

More proof it’s not the internet killing off brick-n-mortars!  News out of California saying massive job cuts and company destruction involving internet auction and selling site ebay.

Local San Jose news sources report that ebay administrators have confirmed they will sell off their PayPal ops, resulting in at least 2-thousand 4-hundred people becoming jobless!  The sale of PayPal is being pushed by ‘activist’ (more like vulture capitalist) investors who now control most of ebay’s stock.

Not only that, but ebay will further split into two units (confirming what I reported at the end of last year), which will most likely result in even more job destruction.  Company administrators are blaming last year’s cyber attack: “ebay’s loyal customers are back, but our more occasional customers have not returned.”-John Donahoe, ceo

However, I know that ebay has also been suffering from declining revenues caused by a reduction in users, because I’m a struggling long time seller on ebay.

It also doesn’t help that in 2013 the USPS jacked up international shipping rates by 60%, totally killing off my ebay auctions for 2013, since 90% of my sales were international!

“There will be changes; there will be significant changes.”-Devin Wenig, current ebay president

Reports that iconic internet selling venue ebay is killing off 3-thousand jobs beginning right after xmas!

(by the way, the new ‘official’ corporate way to spell ebay is all lower case)

ebay Administrators say it’s part of their plan to spinoff PayPal as a separate company.  But could it be the fact that sales have been crashing?  When sibling companies are spunoff it’s a sign that at least one of them is in trouble (like Lands’ End from Sears).

ebay administrators admitted that their sales-auctions are so low that they account for less than a third of the money transactions on PayPal!   There are also rumors that once PayPal is spunoff from ebay that ebay will be carved up and sold off.

ebay has already laid off dozens of employees with its Magento software unit, and 100 people were let go at ebay’s StubHub ticket seller.  In 2012, PayPal laid off more than 300 employees!

ebay is so desperate they are now working with traditional brick-n-mortar stores as a clearing house operation.

World War 3, Martial Law U.S. Front: ebay, Dell, HP, federal & state governments build World’s largest data collection spy center system in Utah! Real time data stream monitoring!

16 October 2013 (11:39 UTC-07 Tango)/11 Dhu’l-Hijja 1434/24 Mehr 1391/12 Ren-Xu (9th month) 4711

The United States government and ebay have things in common: They both partner to collect your personal data, and their major collection centers are based in the Mormon dominated state of Utah.  But ebay has built the World’s first energy independent collection center, according to ebay itself and Bloom Energy.

Don’t forget ebay has a data center in Arizona called Project Mercury.  In Las Vegas, Nevada, there is what’s being called the largest privately run data collection center in the World.  It’s operated by a company called Switch.  It’s users are “ebay, Google, Sony, Zappos, HP, Cisco, Activision, Intuit, University of Phoenix, Yahoo, MySpace, eHarmony, Sony or Disney, or any of those guys who have games on the internet.”-Rob Roy, Switch

Switch continues to expand its Las Vegas operations and will eventually have 2.2 million square feet (670560 square meters) of data center space (currently they’re just over 400-thousand square feet)!  The state of Nevada was influenced to give the green light to data collection centers by a report from Brookings Mountain West.  A former executive of Switch has started his own data collection company called Cobalt.

ebay’s Topaz data stealing center (created with help from Dell and Hewlett Packard) in Utah is located in South Jordan (just south of Salt Lake City).  It’s not new, but the fact that it is now independent of the power grid is.  It’s powered by Bloom Energy’s fuel cells, solar panels, and a heat waste recovery system is also being built for the center, to insure 100% power grid independence.  ebay’s own video presentation about the collection center states the center was built in partnership with federal and state governments!

ebay has also innovated a way that company (government?) officials can watch your data stream in real time.  It’s called Digital Service Efficiency (DSE).  According to Network Computing it appears to the user as “….a dashboard that displays power load, number of users, energy supplied and other measures of IT effectiveness along with the amount of revenue generated per user, cost of employing that user, carbon footprint and other measures of business activity.”

(note that in the above quote, as a “user” of ebay you are considered an ’employee’, not a client)

According to ebay officials, this real time data dashboard (DSE) is intended to increase the number of transactions per kilowatt hour.  ebay also claims that they save millions of dollars in electrical power usage every time they increase the efficiency of their data collection process.

ebay says it will share any non-specific company DSE techologies with other companies, that are part of a consortium known as The Green Grid.  The current board members of The Green Grid are AMD, Cisco, Dell, EMC2, Emerson, Google, HP, IBM, Intel, Microsoft and Schneider.

By the way, ebay’s new massive data collection center is just north of the federal government’s massive data collection center, located on the Utah Army National Guard’s Camp Williams.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that ebay got a $38.2 million tax break from Utah, for its new customer service center in Draper!   (as a ebay user I say Utah taxpayers got ripped!)

According to ebay, their motivation to build massive data storage centers is to reduce “environmental impacts”!  Hey, if you weren’t collecting individual’s data you wouldn’t need data centers at all!  Why don’t you try that for saving the environment?

(the correct official new spelling for ebay is all lower case.  why can’t you mainstreamer newsies get it right?)

Congressional Evil & What Economic Recovery? Media lies about USPS international postal rate change? I have receipts that show at least a 50-60% increase! Hello, Hyperinflation!

I got a shock when I shipped off some packages to Europe, USPS international First Class rate went up 61%!!!

Some media mainstreamers had been reporting a 5-10% increase, but that’s for domestic postage.  Even the Postal clerks at the Clark Street office, in Pocatello, Idaho, told me they were surprised by how high the international rate went up.

People who supplement their meager incomes (or maybe it’s become their only source of income) on internet selling sites like ebay, Etsy, Scoomer, etc, and who sell a lot outside the United States are going to see a drop in business (I know many internet sellers attribute at least 50% of their sales to international buyers).

On 17 January 2013 I sent a measly 2 ounce package to Australia, it cost $3.78 USD, online price.  On 29 January 2013 I sent another 2 ounce package, but this time it cost $6.16 online. Do the math, that’s a 61% increase!

Here’s another example: On 27 December 2012 I sent a 1 pound 14 ounce package to Canada, it cost $9.15 online.  Today that same package now cost $16.15 online, a 56% increase!

Here’s yet another example: On 18 January 2013 I sent a 3 ounce package to Italy, at an online U.S. Postal Service rate of $4.56.  Now that same package has an online cost of $8.88 (the in USPS store cost is $9.45).  That’s a 51% increase!

There were some media sources, like StudentNews, that reported that the First Class International rate would go up 60%, for items weighing up to one pound (that’s questionable as you can see in my Canadian example the package weighed almost 2 pounds!). Apparently someone at the USPS realized they were charging far less than UPS or FedEx, and decided to make their First Class International rate “more competitive” with the competition.

Making your prices more competitive with your competition is now code for jacking up your rates to meet your competitors higher prices. A kind of price fixing if you ask me. I remember when being more competitive meant you tried to have lower prices than your competitors.

Is this yet another attempt by the Congressionaly controlled Postal Commission to intentionally destroy the U.S. Postal Service?  Remember, it’s Congress that sets the Postal rates, not the USPS!

No Economic Recovery for the U.S.: eBay striking it rich in China

“Chinese exporters today have a significant price advantage, and combined with eBay’s global reach, it creates a very powerful business opportunity.”-Jay Lee, eBay Asia-Pacific.

California based eBay is seeing huge yuan signs, not dollar signs.  That’s because the online auction and retail site is making big gains in China.

Just a few years back anyone in the U.S. who bought something from China, through eBay, had to wait nearly two months to get their item.  Now it’s taking less than a month (I know, I’ve bought a couple of things from China through eBay).

That reduction in shipping time is helping to boost eBay’s China operation: “Now it takes only seven to 10 days for Chinese products sold through eBay to reach any destination in the U.S.”-Jeff Liao, eBay Greater China. (Personally I haven’t experienced that fast of shipping time)

At the end of 2010, 20% of eBay sales were outside the United States, most of which involved China.  EBay officials predict their Chinese operation to grow an amazing 30%-40% every year!
