“Everything is on the table….No one is safe.” : August 2016 U.S. Federal State & Local Shenanigans

Incomplete list of U.S. Federal/State/Local Government self-destruct announcements for August 2016:

Bill & Hillary Clinton claim they paid 34.2% of their income to federal income taxes.  They also claim they paid 9.8% of their ‘adjusted’ income to charity, mostly to their own charity informally called Clinton Family Foundation (which, by the way, is how they keep their daughter Chelsea employed, it’s officially called the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation).

Flip-Flopper Hillary: According to The Washington Times, Hillary Clinton helped create the not-so-free Obama regime’s free trade deal known as Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), but now as a presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claims she will cancel TPP becasue it’s not free or fair to the working class!

The Washington Post revealed that despite Donald Trump claiming his golf courses are worth tens of millions of U.S. dollars his state tax filings are claiming otherwise, but only because Trump is trying to reduce paying his fair share of taxes.  

California: Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority laid off 13 people.  VVWRA is paid by how much sewage water flows into their privately run treatment plant, and sewage flows crashed by 22% (since 2010), forcing VVWRA to conduct across the board layoffs.  VVWRA blames the city of Victorville for diverting one-millions gallons of sewage into the city run treatment plant.  The city of Victorville counters by blaming delayed construction of a new pipeline on VVWRA.  That pipeline is supposedly functional now, and was 94% funded by taxes from the federal government (through FEMA).  Not only has Cupertino based Apple avoided paying its fair share of taxes to the not-so Golden State, as well as the United States, but apparently failed to pay the equivilant of $14-million USD in taxes to the European Union!  The Guardian reports that the Obama regime is threatening the European Union (an ally of the U.S.) for demanding U.S. companies like Apple pay their fair share in taxes!  And San Francisco based Uber failed to pay Taiwan the equivilant of $6.3-million in taxes!  The government of Taiwan (an ally of the U.S.) says Uber hasn’t paid taxes since 2013!

Colorado: The Colorado Weekly Homebuyers List reports at least six property owners/businesses facing federal and state tax liens, just in Boulder County.

Delaware: Illinois based HVS Convention, Sports, and Entertainment Consulting ties Delaware with Idaho for the 8th highest hotel tax rate in the U.S.

Florida: Brevard County Court warning of layoffs due to state taxpayer funding cuts.  The county Clerk of Courts told local news that 28 jobs could be eliminated between now and January 2017.  Local news reports say Brevard County Court has been eliminating jobs since 2008; from 480 to now less than 3-hundred.

Idaho: A Fourth District Judge has thrown out a lawsuit challenging the 2014 law that heaps huge taxpayer funded incentives on companies moving to The Gem State.  Tens of millions in tax breaks (supposedly in the form of “reimbursements”) have already gone to companies like California based Amy’s Kitchen and Ireland’s Glanbia Foods. Agricultural news source Capital Press also revealed that an undisclosed food producer was recently given a $15-million tax credit for creating a piddly 80 jobs in Boise.  The state Depatment of Commerce claims that tax ‘reimbursments’ helped create 4,737 new jobs. But if companies aren’t paying their fair share of taxes how are the state and local governments going to make up for it?  By hitting Idaho residents with jacked up taxes and fees, of course.

If you’ve got a family and you’re thinking about moving to Idaho to get a job with one of those taxpayer subsidized companies, think again.  The Gem State is one of the worst when it comes to affordable child daycare, and the state government does nothing about it.  Economic Policy Institute says the average Idaho family spends $6-hundred per month per child on daycare.  Child Care Aware says from 2013 to 2014 childcare costs in Idaho skyrocketed by 19.9%!  Even a daycare operator says it’s not worth it to raise a family in Idaho: “Ultimately, when you do the math, and mom is only making X amount, how much of that money is going toward lunches out, and extra clothing, and taxes, and gas to get to and from? You have to look at all of that and see if it’s cost-effective.”-Megan MacCleary, Megan’s Munchkins Preschool, whose income from her daycare operation is so low she qualies for Medicaid (even though daycare rates have gone up Idaho still ranks third lowest for daycare operator/worker pay)

Indiana: Ball State University economist Michael Hicks warned that taxpayers are being raped in the name of saving the corporate retail industry: “We are in the fourth or fifth iteration of government subsidizing new development at the urging of property developers, consultant firms and bond attorneys. Each time a shiny new strip mall is opened, a small-business owner somewhere else is eventually put out of business. The cycle continues. Consultants get rich, local economic developers claim jobs and local taxpayers get struck with empty retail infrastructure they didn’t need, and not enough money to fix the schools…”

Kansas: More proof of Failed State-ism; yet again monthly state tax collections failed to cover state government expenses.  August tax collections were $10-million USD short of what was needed!  Blame unAmerican corporate America: “Individual income taxes beat estimates for the second month of the fiscal year, which is encouraging, but corporate, sale and use tax receipts continue to lag pulling down the overall totals.”-Nick Jordan,  Secretary of Revenue

Kentucky: Illinois based HVS Convention, Sports, and Entertainment Consulting says Kentucky experienced a 19.32% hotel tax revenue growth, the biggest growth in the U.S.

Massachusetts: The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority warning of mass layoffs due to being ‘in the hole’ by $100-million USD!  At least 60 MBTA janitors are being laid off, for a start.

Michigan:  Proof of Failed State-ism; Montcalm County Sheriff Department warning deputies of possibly layoffs due to the county being in the financial hole by $1.5-million USD.  County administrators revealed that since 2012 tax collections have fallen behind expenses by an average of $2-million per year!  (if the private sector can’t pay people enough, then people can’t pay taxes)

New Jersey: More proof of Failed State-ism; The city of Paterson shutdown 36 taxpayer funded summer camps, warned of 250 layoffs, forced furlough days for remaining employees, and  intentionally increase police issued traffic tickets to generate cash!  Even with the layoffs, and forcing police to arbitrarily issue 30-thousand (80 per day) additional money generating traffic tickets, city administrators whine that they will still be short $2.1-million USD!  The New York Times revelaed that when Chris Christie became governor he reduced the $30-million in taxes owed by the now dead Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort to just $5-million!  Now we know the reason why Trump went from being a Democrat to being a Republican; bribery!

New Mexico: Cibola County prison shutting down by October, 3-hundred jobs affected!  The prison has been operated by the evil for profit Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) since 1998, CCA refused to say why they’re shutting the prison down.  It might be connected to the fact the federal government’s own study shows “They do not save substantially on costs and … they do not maintain the same level of safety and security.”

New York: The town of Oyster Bay is $700-million USD in debt, 103 employees have been retired early and another 150 will be laid off!    John Venditto, town supervisor for 18 years, warned “Everything is on the table. There will be a proportion between non-exempt employees and exempt employees. No one is safe.”

By the way, former Oyster Bay commissioner Frederick Ippolito had his federal court sentencing delayed. He pled guilty to failing to pay taxes on a $2-million consulting fee he was paid while serving as the town’s planning and development commissioner.

Ohio: According to Crain’s Cleveland Business the Internal Revenue Service has filed federal tax liens against 21 businesses.

South Carolina: Illinois based HVS Convention, Sports, and Entertainment Consulting says South Carolina experienced a negative 3.22% hotel tax revenue ‘growth’, the biggest decline in the U.S.

Washington DC: The Congressional Budget Office says within ten years taxpayer spending on military and civilian government jobs will hit a 53 years low, due to crashing tax revenues and skyrocketing costs of operations (especially due to ObamaCare).  Already the Internal Revenue Service has eliminated 17-thousand tax collecting jobs in the past six years!

U.S. Job Losses & Store Closings, 01 April 2015: God joins exodus from The Big Apple! Proof the economy sucks, fewer tax returns! “These were deep and painful…We lost some very good people…”

Incomplete list of publicly announced layoffs & shutdowns:

California: In Berkeley, Obama Care forced East Bay Perinatal Medical to issue a layoff WARN, saying 34 people will become jobless by the end of May.  British empire Australia based oil service company WorleyParsons Group issued two layoff WARNs, saying 90 Californians will become jobless at the end of May. It’s part of their plan to eliminate 2-thousand oil jobs, mainly in North America!  The Rolling Hills Country Club issued a layoff WARN, saying 60 people will be laid off by June.  In San Luis Obispo, after 42 years the Coastal Pool Center shutting down because the greedy property owner is evicting the family business.

Indiana: In Elkhart, the Youth and Community Center shutdown, due to repairs that the community center can’t afford to pay for.

Michigan: Hazel Park Schools announced they will eliminate 116 jobs and slash salaries over the next five years, due to what I call Disappearing Student Syndrome (a 30% decline since 2010)!

Minnesota: US Steel continues to kill jobs, this time 680 jobs are being eliminated at its Minntac ops!

Mississippi: In Jackson, after 87 years (surviving the Great deflationary Depression and numerous recessions) the owner of Mori Luggage & Gifts announced he will shut it down at the end of May: “To be honest, retailing isn’t fun any more because of online shoppers and social media…..All of our suppliers are on the Internet themselves.”-George S. Mori

Missouri: The taxman taketh, H&R Block announced it will eliminate 90 jobs, mainly from its Kansas City HQ.  Administrators blame 4.2% fewer tax returns being filed by the increasingly unemployed and underemployed U.S. workforce.

New York: LifeMed Pharmacy has been sold, 65 employees to be laid off in May.  In NYC, God refuses to stop his American Bible Society from shutting down.  Their WARN says layoffs begin in June, and they expect to be shutdown by December.  American Bible Society has joined the mass exodus from New York and is moving to Pennsylvania.  The Center for Educational Innovation issued a WARN saying they’ve lost a contract and at least 32 people will be laid off by July.  In Ward’s Island, Volunteers of America Keener Assessment & Rapid Rehousing issued a WARN saying they will shutdown their homeless shelter by June, 39 jobs affected due to loss of contract.  Some good news; in Staten Island, Richmond University Medical Center has rescinded their plans to outsource their security guard jobs.

North Carolina: The Fayetteville Observer laid off 16 employees due to crashing revenues: “These were deep and painful cuts today…We lost some very good people…”-Charles Broadwell, publisher

Ohio: Evil CCA (Corrections Corporation of America), the for-profit contractor running the evil Northeast Ohio Correctional Center, has lost their contract and will eliminate 185 jobs!  Last year CCA got kicked out of Idaho for creating what became known as the Gladiator School prison.  After 17 years office supply business CP&E Marketing will shutdown in Coshocton by the end of the month.  It’s blamed partly on a death in the family.   Too Big to Jail Chase Bank announced it is shutting down its Warren office in June.

Pennsylvania: Spring based Carpenter Technology announced that the economy is so bad they will eliminate 260 jobs!  Administrators blame cuts in spending in the petroleum and military industries.  After 29 years Massachusetts based advertising company Mullen shutdown their Pittsburgh office.

Tennessee: The YMCA announced it is shutting down three operations; one in North Clarksville and two in Nashville, 130 jobs lost!  Administrators say the bad economy has caused them to lose more than $850-thousand USD last year.

Texas: Halliburton laid off more petroleum industry employees, this time 60 people at its Alice fracking ops.  Houston based oil equipment maker Frank’s International announced they are eliminating 6-hundred jobs!  ConocoPhillips, the largest independent oil company within the U.S., claims to have lost money in its last quarter and will begin eliminating an undisclosed number of jobs.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) doesn’t count the thousands of layoffs in its mass layoff reports: “On March 1, 2013, President Obama ordered into effect the across-the- board spending cuts (commonly referred to as sequestration) required  by the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act, as amended. Under the order, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) must cut its current budget by more than $30 million, 5 percent of the current 2013   appropriation, by September 30, 2013. In order to help achieve these   savings and protect core programs, the BLS will eliminate two programs, including Mass Layoff Statistics, and all ‘measuring green   jobs’ products. This news release is the final publication of monthly mass layoff survey data.”

Corporate Evil: CCA abandons prisoners in Idaho prison! CCA says Idaho officials just as evil!

The Idaho Department of Corrections walked into the former CCA controlled Gladiator School (Idaho Correctional Center) and discovered prisoners who had been abandonded for at least eight days!

Earlier in the year, after years of complaints and civil lawsuits, and then the final straw when CCA was caught red handed ripping off Idaho taxpayers, the state of Idaho told Tennessee based Corrections Corporation of America that their contract would not be renewed.  Idaho State Police even asked the U.S. FBI to investigate CCA.

Idaho Department of Corrections say when they walked into the prison, in June, they found chronically ill inmates who had been neglected, missing medical records, and no medications.

CCA claims they asked Idaho officials if they wanted a medication inventory done, before they vacated, but state officials said no.

CCA also revealed that Idaho Department of Corrections ‘took over’ the prison by simply hiring on the (now former) evil CCA prison guards, the very guys who’re part of the problem!

This doesn’t surprise men, considering the Republican leaders of Idaho are the biggest recipients of CCA campaign money in the whole Gem State!

In a surprise move, Idaho governor Butch Otter has ordered state police to investigate for profit prison operator Corrections Corporation of America.  It’s surprising to me because my own research shows that in the past govna Otter has been the biggest individual recipient of CCA political financing in Idaho.

The criminal investigation order comes after state audits showed CCA lied about their operations at the infamous Gladiator School (Idaho Correctional Center).  The audits also showed that CCA was not saving Idaho taxpayers any money, in fact the state could do a better job for less.

Idaho kicks out for profit prison operator CCA! Not for human rights violation, but for ripping off taxpayers!

The Gem State’s legislative budget writers have approved funding the state takeover of the notorious Gladiator School.

The state prison has been run, for more than a decade, by Corrections Corporation of America.  It has been plague by lawsuits and accusations of prisoner abuse and medical neglect.  Former victims say prisoners were encouraged to beat the crap out of each other, hence the nickname.

But that’s not what got CCA kicked out of Idaho.  Turns out, as usual, money is more important than human rights.

A 2012 Associated Press investigation accuses CCA of lying to taxpayers about how many employees were actually staffing the Idaho Correctional Center.  AP accuses CCA of falsifying the number of employees at the prison.  The Idaho Department of Corrections admitted they never verified any of CCA’s paperwork! The AP investigation also said Idaho taxpayers were not saving any money by having the prison managed by a for profit private contractor (no shit Sherlock, that’s why it’s called “for profit”).

Also, CCA never explained why it fired some employees.

But note, the AP reported its findings in 2012, and here it is 2014!  The Right to Work you over state officials decided to just let CCA run the place until the contract expires in June 2014.  Oohh, so it’s not like your ‘elected’ officials really care about doing the right moral thing, it’s all about the money, your money!

Ever hear of G4S?  They claim to be the “leading security company” in the United States, but the private prison concentration camp/private police state operator G4S is based out of the British empire’s United Kingdom.

G4S started out in the 1980s when four British private security companies merged.  Then they merged with a security company in Denmark, becoming Group 4 Falck in 2000.  In 2004 the name changed to G4S.   They took over the U.S. private prison concentration camp operator GEO (which used to be known as Wackenhut).

Their U.S. operation is also known as G4S Secure Solutions USA.

G4S has offices all over the U.S., including Boise, Idaho (aka Idaho Security Services).  Interestingly, GEO still operates as GEO even though they are now part of the G4S family.

GEO/G4S were planning to offer a bid to take over the operations of the evil Idaho Gladiator School (Idaho Correctional Center).  The latest news reports say GEO/G4S suddenly backed out, and even the current concentration camp operator, Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), is jumping ship.  MTC is apparently the new operator of the Idaho Gladiator School.

Idaho has been hit with lawsuits concerning mistreatment of prisoners, including claims of outright torture at the Gladiator School.  Don’t think the accusation of torture is far fetched.  South Africa (a member of the British empire, aka The Commonwealth) recently kicked out G4S, directly accusing G4S of torturing prisoners!  Not only that, but G4S mistreated 300 of their South African prison guards as well!

BBC interviewed one of the prison guards turned whistleblower, who said it is G4S (and possibly all private prison companies’) policy to torture prisoners who complain about mistreatment. The BBC report also says prisoners were forced to take drugs, similar kinds of drugs that the perpetrators of recent mass shootings in the U.S. were on.  Watch the disturbing BBC report here, it includes video shot by prison guards.

GEO (owned by G4S) runs concentration camps in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington state.

CCA runs concentration camps in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho (soon to go to MTC), Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington DC.

Utah based Mormon/Christian MTC (Management & Training Corporation, by the way the LDS church also uses the acronym MTC for their Missionary Training Center) runs prions ops in Arizona, California, Idaho, Florida, Mississippi, New Mexico, Ohio and Texas.   Read Mormons behind privately run concentration camp in Mississippi 

According to New Jersey media reports, Catholic Christian governor Chris Christie (a closet Anglophile giving British companies tax breaks even though they destroy jobs in his state) is directly involved in CEC (Community Education Centers, aka Education and Health Centers of America). Don’t let the company’s name fool you, they are totally a prison operation.  The New York Times investigated the company and discovered rampant drug dealing inside CEC’s New Jersey prison ops.  CEC operates in Alabama, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming.  CEC also conducts prison ops in the U.K. territory of Bermuda.

G4S (remember, it is a British empire corporation) runs police state operations in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Washington DC, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Note that is almost all of the United States, and G4S is being paid with your tax money! Isn’t this proof enough that the British empire has regained control of the U.S.?

Most of the executives of GEO, CCA, CEC, MTC and G4S consider themselves to be Christians.  In the United Kingdom, where G4S originates, Christianity is the official government religion controlled directly by the queen (she’s called the Supreme Governor).

G4S has also been hired by Christian universities, in Illinois, to provide campus security.

G4S has also been hired to provide security for U.S. nuclear plants!

G4S is behind “real-time event monitoring and situational management, and ever-expanding business intelligence” within the U.S.

United Police States of Corporate America: Largest corporate prison operator in the pockets of Idaho Republicans

CCA, Corrections Corporation of America, is the largest corporate prison operator in the United States.  CCA is also in the pockets of Idaho Republicans, and a few Idaho Democrats, as shown by 2006 and 2008 election campaign donations (known as the “Sunshine Summary” or “Sunshine Law”).

Recently CCA announced they were settling dozens of lawsuits claiming prison violence, and lack of medical care for prisoners.  One of those prisons is south of Boise, Idaho.  It’s known as “Gladiator School” because of the level of violence, and the fact that prison guards were caught on security cameras just standing around watching as prisoners were beaten for hours.

United Police States of Corporate America: Big Republican supporter, CCA, about to settle lawsuits claiming prison violence, medical neglect, includes Idaho’s “Gladiator School”

Septmenber 14, a man who sued a corporate run Idaho prison, known as “Gladiator School”, for extreme violence and medical neglect, has reached a settlement with Corrections Corporation of America.

CCA is the largest corporate prison operation in the United States, and also has the worst reputation.

Dozens of other inmates across the U.S. are also suing the Nashville, Tennessee, based CCA.

Reports are that CCA wants to settle all cases as quietly as possible, and soon. CCA officials hope to have all cases settled by the end of the week.

The Idaho Correctional Center, run by CCA, is so violent that it’s called “Gladiator School”.  Lawsuits claim that guards used inmate on inmate violence as a management tool, and then denied injured prisoners adequate medical care.  In one case, security camera video was leaked, showing a prisoner being beaten for hours, while guards watched.  That’s your Idaho tax dollars at work folks!

By the way, CCA is a major supporter of the Idaho Republican party!!!
