David Nabarro, World Health Organization special envoy for CoViD-19, warned in 08OCT2020 video interview, with the Spectator’s The Week in 60 Minutes, admits that nobody knows how to properly respond to CoViD and that lockdowns could be worse than the pandemic“We in the World Health Organization do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control…..  …..lockdowns have just one consequence….making poor people an awful lot poorer.”

This is from a UN WHO report about the economic realities of lockdowns and mass-testing, made public in July 2020: “In larger populations, however, such comprehensive surveillance may be impracticable or too costly and the test workload may rapidly outstrip capacity and resources….. long-term lockdowns may not be an option because economic necessity could preclude self-isolation.”

Despite what some leftist liberal environmentalists said about the pandemic lockdowns reducing pollution, the facts show the opposite happened!

CDC warning Idaho pet owners of plague!

13 December 2016 (11:59 UTC-07 Tango 06) 23 Azar 1395/13 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1438/15 Geng Zi 4714

“During May 30–July 26, 2016, local veterinarians notified public health officials that five dogs and 12 cats were being evaluated for possible plague.”-CDC, 09 December 2016

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now warning Idahoans of plague Yersinia pestis affecting their pets, mainly cats.

By the beginning of Summer dogs and cats in southwestern part of The Gem State possibly contracted the plague bacteria, four cats died.

The CDC studied reports of the cases that were sent to them and recently issued a Notes from the Field: Plague in Domestic Cats — Idaho, 2016, warning of possible epidemic.  Pets get the plague from fleas that have been on wild animals, and can spread it to humans.

One Year Later: Dogs & cats still abandoned in radiation zones, government now searching for owners. Other pets forced into shelters because owners can’t keep them.

14 August 2012, the Japanese government is now trying to find owners of hundreds of abandoned pets in the 11 March 2011 disaster areas.  Last year the Environment Ministry was able to pick up 750 dogs and cats and place in shelters, 300 are still unclaimed.

Government officials believe there are still hundreds of abandoned pets still living in the radiation zones.

The prefectural government of Fukushima is asking people who are known to have lost their pets if they want them back, or not.  Fukushima officials say they have contacted at least 1,000 people so far.  Officials say they will try to find homes for pets that are no longer wanted, and they will continue to try and capture those pets still loose.

Some owners fear their pets are radioactive, others say they can not afford to take in their pets as they are living in temporary housing, and many owners are still unemployed.

NHK (nippon housou kyoukai/Japan Broadcasting Corporation) recently ran a sad documentary about pets who are being kept in private shelters, until the owners can take them back. The owners are paying for the shelters.  However, in one sad example, the owners of one old dog were finally able to take their dog back only to learn that their dog died just days before they arrived at the shelter.

One Year Later: Left behind; Fukushima pets still without homes, new kittens found near nuclear plant

Volunteer animal rescuers in Japan are reporting that pets are still being found in the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster area.

Recently six kittens were found and taken to a animal hospital in Tokyo.  They were taken to Tokyo because local animal shelters are still full of abandoned pets from the March 2011 disasters. More than one year later volunteers say there are still hundreds of abandoned cats and dogs living near the nuclear power plant!

The animal hospital in Tokyo reported that the kittens were healthy, and homes were found for them.  Volunteer animal rescue groups say they will increase the use of the internet to send out international SOSs for the pets that were left behind.

One Year Later: Japan develops their first ever mobile pet clinic, to help the hundred of animals still suffering in Iwate

Iwate University, along with a pet food company in Tokyo, have developed a mobile pet clinic specifically to try and help the more than 450 pets still suffering in Iwate Prefecture.

Iwate was hit hard by the March 11, 2011, Mega Quake and tsunami.  It’s also near Fukushima prefecture, and has been affected by radiation from the destroyed Fukushima Daiichi nuke power factory.

The mobile clinic will allow veterinarians to even conduct surgeries.  Director of Iwate University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Reeko Sato, says hundreds of pets have gone a full year without any treatment for their injuries, or radiation related illnesses.  Most veterinarian services were destroyed on March 11, 2011.

It’s hoped more mobile pet clinics are created, in Fukushima Province there are even more animals who need attention.
