Norovirus / Tummy Bug update, 15 July 2013: Parasites! Fatal Pig virus! More reasons not to be a vegetarian!

In Rhode Island, and Massachusetts U.S.A., the Shigella Sonnei bacterium is striking down swimmers at local lake beaches.  Spring Lake and Wallum Lake have been mentioned.  Since 04 July there’s been about 140 cases reported.  The Spring Lake Beach was reopened because health officials could not find evidence of contamination.

In Wyoming U.S.A., officials at Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks say norovirus cases have returned to “normal levels”: “The spike we had was unusual, but having a few cases sprinkled [sprinkled ?] throughout the area during summer months is still within the realm of possibility.”-Jackie Skaggs, Grand Teton National Park

Also in Wyoming, the town of Hudson was hit with norovirus.  It was revealed that 30 people got sick back in May, after eating at the Svilar’s Bar and Dining Room.  The Wyoming Department of Health has yet to determine the source of infection.

In San Diego, California U.S.A., school officials were fearing a massive tummy bug outbreak after 22 elementary aged students began throwing up.  Turns out the dumb ass kids were chugging milk laced with salt, pepper, hot sauce and veggies!  18 students went to the hospital, but get this, some of those students didn’t take part in the stupid dare and were not sick at all: “When the first kids got sick, teachers asked if anybody else felt sick, and the hands started going up. Some of them were apparently having, sympathy pains.”-Jack Brandais, San Diego Unified School District

In Iowa U.S.A., more than 25 people have been infected with parasites.  It’s called Cyclospora, and health officials say it’s been awhile since they’ve seen such an outbreak (more than they’ve seen in the past 20 years!).  Apparently it’s contaminating produce, as health officials are telling people to wash even the packaged ‘pre-washed’ lettuce.

In Sweden, more than 2000 people in the city of Österund are sick with Cryptosporidium.  The parasite is contaminating the town’s water supply, as many as 9000 people could be infected.  Health officials are trying to find out how the parasite got in the water supply.  For now the residents must boil the water, for at least 15 minutes, before using.

Speaking of parasites, the royal family of the British Empire (along with all the lovers of Anglo royalty around the World) are concerned because the duchess of cambridge, Kate Middleton, is infected with a parasite that’s getting bigger everyday!  Maybe it’ll burst forth from her sternum like a commoner silicon based Xenomorph, and then consume the rest of the house of windsor only to become a queen itself, laying thousands of leathery eggs, turning the British Isles into a giant hive of Aliens!  David Icke did say the royal family was a bunch of alien reptiles.  Oh, she’s just pregnant?  Then what the hell is all the fuss about?!

In the United Kingdom, travelers are being advised to get travel health insurance.  From 2011 to 2012, 48% of travelers aged 18 to 24 years did not get such health insurance.  About 1600 ended up in a hospital in another country.  One Brit, who traveled to California, got sick with tummy bug, went into hospital, and returned to the U.K. with a bill of about $151,130 USD!!!

In Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, reports that the local hospital is full up due to winter time infections including tummy bugs.

As winter hits Australia, the Food Safety Information Council is warning of norovirus outbreaks: “Norovirus has been called the winter vomiting bug overseas as it spreads easily between people during winter…..Once norovirus is contracted a single infected person can easily spread it to many others, especially if they prepare food or drink.”

Also in Australia, medical wards at Ballarat Base Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Centre are closed because of viral gastroenteritis outbreaks.

In Durban, South Africa, reports that 1000 children are sick with rotavirus.  The National Institute for Communicable Diseases says outbreaks are on the increase, and they blame lack of vaccinations and bad hygiene.

In the U.S.A., the Kansas Department of Health and Environment revealed that there were several outbreaks of tummy bug in April and May.  More than 50 cases reported that involved a First Communion, a meat market, a couple of restaurants and a wedding rehearsal.

In Pennsylvania U.S.A., it’s been revealed that Lancaster County’s pig farms have been hit with a new pig killing virus.  It’s called porcine epidemic diarrhea (PED), and it’s 100% fatal in suckling pigs.  It also retards growth in older pigs. Local Pennsylvania news reports say officials refuse to report how many cases there are.  There is no treatment for PED.  According to the American Association of Swine Veterinarians, PED has hit pig farms in at least 16 states.

In Tennessee U.S.A., the Johnson City Medical Center is now using a robot named Gizmo, to zap microbes.  Like other germ killing robots used in Canada, Gizmo uses ultra violet light, 25000 times brighter than the sun, to break down DNA.

The United Nations Codex Alimentarius Commission adopted Strategic Plan 2014-2019.  They say it sets international standards to prevent food borne illness outbreaks caused by Hepatitis A, Norovirus, bacteria and protozoa.

Norovirus / Tummy Bug update, 08 July 2013: Hundreds more sickened! New Dirty Hands Disease? Bilderberg behind new vaccine?

At least 200 people got sick at the Tough Mudder event in Michigan, U.S.A.  State health officials confirmed that people were infected with norovirus at the “…not your average lame-ass mud run or spirit-crushing ‘endurance’ road race.” held last week.  Health officials don’t know the source of the norovirus outbreak.  New cases continue to be reported, and a new hot line phone number has been established to report new cases: 517-264-5215.

In Wyoming U.S.A., health officials say the number of norovirus cases at Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks, are going down.  At least 200 cases confirmed since the outbreak started in mid June.  The National Park Service says they’ve cleaned everything, including gift shops and hotels.  Park employees were isolated for 72 hours!  They remind people that those hand sanitizers don’t work against norovirus: “People tend to rely on hand sanitizer, but it just isn’t as effective against norovirus as plain old soap and water.”-NPS spokeswoman

The Minnesota U.S.A., a man died after getting infected with listeria.  Several people from several surrounding states have been hospitalized.  It’s being linked to Crave Brothers soft cheeses.  Also, the Department of Health is warning of tummy sickness caused by swimming in pools.  Cryptosporidium, E. coli O157:H7, norovirus, Shigella, and Giardia can all be found in public swimming pools.  The standard levels of chlorine used in pools will not kill these buggers.  Last year the North Star State saw 11 outbreaks caused by infected swimming pools.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, salmonella is the deadliest form of tummy bug.   Listeria is the second deadliest.  E.coli is third.   The CDC says better detection of norovirus helped to identify the real killers.  Norovirus is a major cause of tummy bug outbreaks, but causes relatively few deaths.

The CDC also says food caught in water are the cause of most tummy bugs (because of scombroid toxin and ciguatera).  Vegetarians take note, plants are still the number one source of norovirus, because of the fertilizers used on the crops.

Speaking of fish.  The employees of the new Bonefish Grill, in Florida U.S.A., were hit with suspected norovirus.  Department of Health officials say they’re still trying to find the source.  It was the owner of the restaurant that ordered his employees get tested, after he noticed several were sick: “As a precautionary measure, we notified the local health department, postponed the opening of the restaurant and took significant measures, including a thorough cleaning of a brand new restaurant, to ensure the health and safety of our employees and future customers.”

Takeda Pharmaceutical, a Japanese drug maker claims to have created a norovirus vaccine.  However, according to some reports, it requires a series of shots to become effective, and, is still several years away from being approved.  By the way, the vaccine was originally being developed by a Montana U.S.A. company, but the company was taken over by Takeda.  Also, the man leading Takeda’s norovirus vaccine testing is Rajeev Venkayya, formerly the director for global health delivery at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  Bill Gates is connected to the global elitist organization known as Bilderberg!

In Cumbria, England U.K., a college prom went south as 20 students and teachers got sick with tummy bug.  It happened at the three star Hunday Manor Country House Hotel, which is now closed.  Health officials said it was “very likely” to be norovirus.  They expect more cases.   Also, the retirement home, Bethel House, has been hit with tummy bug.  Operators of the home have called in public health officials to investigate.  Public Health England are concerned that there are so many vomiting bug outbreaks in Cumbria.

Another lawsuit against another cruise line.  A man and wife from Hampshire, England U.K., went on a birthday cruise at the end of May.  He got sick, and said the ship smelled of sewage.  The same cruise line, Oriana, is being sued by at least 30 other people for two other cruises.

In Wales U.K.,  shellfishers are upset about norovirus testing.   They say it could adversely affect their industry: “The number of norovirus cases linked to shellfish is minuscule compared to that spread from person to person.”-James Wilson, Deepdock

The testing of shellfish for norovirus might be from the conception that shellfish cause a lot of stomach problems.  That might be if your talking about allergies or improperly handled or cooked shellfish, and a recent outbreak in Belgium found oysters infected with norovirus, but norovirus originated in humans not shellfish (the oysters probably got infected by human handlers).  It is mainly a human to human disease, so it’s suspect that a fishing industry would be forced to test their catch for norovirus.  The first norovirus case occurred in 1968 in Norwalk, Ohio, U.S.A.  This is why it is sometimes called the Norwalk virus.  However, the 1968 outbreak was not confirmed until 1972, when researchers were finally able to identify the cause.  Ever since then, year after year, there are more and more cases, and stronger and stronger versions of the virus.

The U.K.‘s Food Standards Agency is recommending that chicken slaughter houses wash chicken in lactic acid, or blast freeze them.  This is because the latest studies show that tummy sickness caused by bad chicken increases year after year.  (maybe it’s all that crap the mass production chicken farms use as poultry feed, or all those antibiotics they shoot ’em up with?)

In the United Kingdom, the Accident and Emergency (aka A&E) scandal is being blamed on thousands of people seeking help with norovirus infections (along with NHS restructuring of services).  The scandal is the result of incredibly long waiting times for people seeking help.  But here’s the thing, if most of the case load involved norovirus, then most of them were wasted trips to the A&E!   There is no treatment for norovirus, for most cases the only thing the medical staff will due is try and rehydrate you, usually intravenously.  Save some time by trying to keep yourself hydrated and stay away from the germ infested hospitals (more people get sick in the hospital than outside the hospital)!

Here’s another reason to stay out of the hospital if you’ve got norovirus or a mild case of tummy bug: money!  According to the U.S. CDC, each year there are hundreds of millions of dollars in healthcare costs resulting from people seeking medical help from untreatable norovirus.  The main problem are people who can’t keep hydrated!  Save some money, keep hydrated, and stay out of the germ infected hospitals (unless you’re on the verge of death)!

In Slovakia, something called the ‘dirty hands disease’ is causing concern.  The 17th Bažant Pohoda multicultural open-air festival (aka The Pohoda) is about to begin, and health official are concerned over last year’s outbreak of dirty hands disease.  Last year The Pohoda got hit with more than 100 cases of gastroenteritis.  Apparently dirty hands disease is what they call norovirus in Slovakia.   All it takes is one infected person to attend a crowded festival, and BAM, your sick as a dog that just chowed down on a bunch of grass.

In Canada, the Vancouver General Hospital was the first to begin using robots to kill norovirus.  Canadian hospitals are using a germ killing UV light system.  Tru-D the ultra violet robot issues a warning: “Disinfecting will commence in 15 seconds; please leave the room.”

Medical Martial Law: TB outbreaks popping up in California, Virginia & Wisconsin! Whistleblower fired for revealing coverup in South Carolina?

22 June 2013 (14:35 UTC-07 Tango)/13 Sha’ban 1434/01 Tir 1391/15 Wu-Wu (5th month) 4711

In Virginia, the Fairfax County Health Department is investigating a TB outbreak where as many as 430 people at Robert E. Lee High School, in Springfield, have been exposed.

In South Carolina, a nurse formerly in charge of the tuberculosis program with the Department of Health and Environmental Control, is suing the DHEC for firing her after she revealed the DHEC intentionally tried to cover up a recent TB outbreak at the Ninety Six Primary School in Greenwood County.  She also says the DHEC actually ordered her to stop follow-up tests on students at the school.

She was fired on 30 May, after repeated requests to continue the TB testing.  The DHEC claims they fired her because she was the one refusing to conduct TB tests. Testing was resumed after her termination.

According to the lawyer representing the nurse there is a posting on the internet to the DHEC, from the nurse, requesting more staffing and supplies, which was ignored.

South Carolina is also where a school janitor was placed in detention under Title 44-Health, Chapter 31, Article 2 THE EMERGENCY DETENTION AND COMMITMENT OF TUBERCULOSIS PATIENTS law.

I don’t know what’s going on with the DHEC, but TB has now spread throughout South Carolina.  Reports of outbreaks at a Myrtle Beach homeless shelter, and at Clemson University.

In Wisconsin, after slashing and burning funding for health care, the state legislature is considering $4.6 million USD to fight an outbreak of tuberculosis in Sheboygan.  Eight cases confirmed.  Those infected have been quarantined in their homes or in hospitals.  At least one person has a type of TB that is resistant to almost all anti-biotics.

Many people in the U.S. don’t know that back in February 2013, Los Angeles, California, saw a TB outbreak that is suspected of exposing at least 4600 people.  It was so bad that Los Angeles County Health Department asked for help from the federal government.  Of interest is that these cases seemed to be targeting homeless or low income people (par for the course in the history of TB epidemics), and have been getting worse year after year.  The TB outbreak in LA hasn’t stopped.  The latest reports say the UCLA School of Nursing Health Center is on the front lines trying to fight the outbreak, in the past two years they’ve screened 11000 people: “Our screening has gone up about 200%!”-Mary Marfisee, director UCLA nursing clinic inside the Union Rescue Mission

In 2012, the state of Florida saw a TB outbreak that was called the worst in the past 20 years.  This as the state government slashed and burned funding for health programs.  Hundreds of people were confirmed infected with TB, thousands exposed.

Symptoms include fever, chills and coughing up of blood.

Norovirus / Tummy Bug update, 21 June 2013: Yellowstone outbreak spreads to Grand Tetons! Pesticides and cruel animal testing! Don’t eat the Raspberries or the Chutney?

In Wyoming U.S.A., at least 200 people are sick, possibly with norovirus (a few cases have been confirmed as norovirus), at the National Park called Yellowstone. New cases are being reported in nearby Grand Teton National Park.  Infected people included park employees and tourists. Local Wyoming news reports say the outbreak started on a tour bus.  Health officials are concerned because of the number of tourists that visit the parks.

The Pocono Medical Center, in Pennsylvania U.S.A., reporting that since May at least 30 employees have become sick with gastrointestinal problems.  For some reason hospital officials refuse to call it an outbreak.

In Virginia U.S.A., Marshall Elementary School reports about a dozen students and one teacher became sick.  Health officials are investigating.

At least 41 people got sick eating food prepared by the Nantucket Grill in North Carolina U.S.A.  Health officials are still investigating.

In California U.S.A., a Santa Cruz County strawberry grower got into big trouble when he used illegal pesticide on his strawberries and people got violently sick after eating them.   He was ordered to destroy what was left of his crop, and to pay a $15000 USD fine for illegal pesticide use.  The pesticide he used, Methomyl, became illegal for use on fruit in 2010.  Victims of the pesticide laden strawberries suffered blurred vision, headache, nausea, stomach cramps, low blood pressure, sweating and muscle tremors.  Also, in Los Angeles 110 Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) bus drivers are reporting getting sick after MTA officials had the buses sprayed with pesticides.  The spraying has been going on for years.  The bug spray is causing the drivers to suffer chronic headaches, uncontrollable shakes, nausea and vomiting.

In Canada, the Irish golf team practicing for their North American golf tour were taken down by tummy bug.  At least eight players were isolated.  Reports that the Australian team was also hit, but they refused to give details.  The Vancouver Island Health Authority reporting at least three cases at Campbell River’s Yucalta Lodge.

In United Kingdom, the Fred Olsen Cruise Lines being sued by passengers that got sick back in May.  At least 96 people were sick on the cruse.   Also, in Newcastle an outbreak that could be the biggest of the year.  At least 400 people got sick.  Health officials suspect salmonella contaminated uncooked curry leaves used to make chutney sauce.  Two norovirus cases confirmed at Watford General Hospital.  One ward in Morriston Hospital was closed for more than ten days.  In Scotland, the County Community Hospital in Invergordon was on restrictions due to a small outbreak.

Also in the U.K., evil corporations Nestle, Unilever, Knorr, Hellmann’s and Yakult, are being accused of cruel animal testing.  Pregnant rabbits, piglets and mice were being intentionally infected with deadly bacteria, then allowed to die horribly (usually by bleeding to death).  The food company officials say they were conducting experiments to see if some of their food products (like herbal teas and probiotic drinks) could kill the bacteria.  According to whistleblowers, those herbal teas and probiotic drinks did nothing to help the intentionally sickened animals!  (so they probably won’t do you any good either)

In New Zealand an investigation revealed the source of a norovirus outbreak in Cardrona township, last year.  It was in the water supply system.

According to Sweden‘s National Food Agency, frozen raspberries are contaminated with microbes that cause vomiting sickness.  They blame frozen berries imported into Sweden.  A couple of months ago they connected a hepatitis A outbreak to imported frozen berries.  Apparently the berries are being contaminated during the packaging process.  Health officials say you should boil the frozen berries before eating them.

Researchers at Johns Hopkins Medical School and the French National Scientific Research Center, claim that broccoli can kill a bacteria (Helicobacter pylori) that is a common cause of tummy bug.  (don’t confuse bacteria with viruses)

Medical Martial Law: Medical detention enforced in South Carolina TB outbreak!

18 June 2013 (21:55 UTC-07 Tango 17 June 2013)/09 Sha’ban 1434/28 Khordad 1391/11 Wu-Wu (5th month) 4711

“We need to be more educated because we’ve had contact with him. Does it affect us? Do we need to do any testing?”-neighbor of man detained

Government officials in the U.S. state of South Carolina are implementing Title 44-Health, Chapter 31, Article 2 THE EMERGENCY DETENTION AND COMMITMENT OF TUBERCULOSIS PATIENTS law.

One man has already been detained under the law.  Nearly 100 people have been infected with TB, considered the worst TB outbreak in South Carolina since 2003.  However, only the one man has been detained, and reports say he could be in medical detention for months.

He’s being called “Patient A” by health officials, and they say he was detained for refusing to co-operate with medical personnel.  A neighbor of the detained man questions his detention, saying he seemed healthy before he was detained by authorities.  She also said the Department of Health and Environmental Control are not providing any details about the TB outbreak, causing a lot of people to wonder.

State officials defend themselves saying they’re looking for someone who can represent the detained man, before they’ll give out any info.

Local news reports say the man is a janitor at a school where the TB outbreak began.   Many parents are upset with Department of Health and Environmental Control, because the DHEC is not giving out info concerning the TB outbreak at the school.  The outbreak at the school apparently began in March, and has since spread.

Local news reports also say neighbors of the detained man have seen many people going in and out of the man’s house.  A local reporter tried to question one of those people, but was rebuffed.

DHEC officials said the detained man could challenge his detention in court, but hellooo, how can the man get a lawyer when he’s already in medical detention?  Sounds like Medical Martial Law to me.

Norovirus / Tummy Bug update, 04 June 2013: Health officials finally blame drug use in farm animals! Spreading on the Appalachian!

In United Kingdom, the Sandwell Hospital now on restriction after a norovirus outbreak.

The University of Southampton says copper, and alloys that contain copper, kills norovirus.  This might have implications for those plastic water lines that have been replacing copper pipes in homes.

“As soon as you prescribe an antibiotic, you start creating resistance….The drug will kill off most of the bacteria it is targeting, but there will always be a few that survive….They flourish because their rivals, the others without the different gene, are dead.”-Ron Daniels, U.K. Sepsis Trust

Health officials in the U.K. are just now starting to make the connection between massive use of anti-biotic drugs in farm animals and the creation of anti-biotic resistant killer superbug bacterias!  According to officials in the U.K., half of all anti-biotics in Britain end up in farm animals.   They’re now undertaking a five year plan to address the problem.

“In the Netherlands, it’s assumed agricultural workers carry the resistant superbug MRSA and hospitals put them into isolation for testing.”-Mark Holmes,  University of Cambridge

According to the American College of Physicians of the 133 million antibiotics  prescribed to nonhospitalized patients every year, half are unnecessary!  At least half of the cases involve viruses or other problems that anti-biotics don’t work on.  The result is that good bacteria in people are being killed off.

While more and more doctors are finally realizing how bad anti-biotics can be, a new study says if you take probiotics while on anti-biotics, it could even kill the deadly C.diff bacteria.

Another bacteria, Helicobacter pylori, survives stomach acid by producing enzymes that cancel stomach acid.  It also causes cancer.  Researchers in Scotland, U.K., say they think they know how it causes cancer, by preventing the absorption of vitamin C.

Also in U.K., a college student from Australia died from a rare killer bacteria.  The woman apparently got sick just after arriving in London, but thought it was a typical tummy bug.  It was meningococcal strain W-135.   The fast acting deadly bacteria killed the woman just a few hours after tummy bug symptoms first appeared.

In U.S.A., in what’s being called the worst viral outbreak along the Appalachian Trail, health officials say it (assumed to be norovirus) has now spread from Georgia into Pennsylvania.   Warning posters have been posted along the 3516 km (2185 miles) trail.

In upstate New York, U.S.A., health officials reporting a spike in rotavirus cases.

Several western states in the U.S., are being warned after frozen berries sold through the Costco chain, tested positive for hepatitis A.  At least 32 people are sick, the symptoms are the same as tummy bug infections, like nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fatigue, fever, abdominal pain. But also include dark urine, clay-colored feces, joint pain, and jaundice.

In California, U.S.A., mosquitoes have been found to be spreading West Nile virus.  West Nile causes nausea and vomiting, but also fever, headache, and body aches as it attacks your central nervous system.

In Alberta, Canada, a woman returned from a trip to Thailand with a rare virus.  The zika virus originated in Africa, it causes your standard tummy bug symptoms but also includes blisters in your mouth.  The woman also developed sore muscles and rashes.

In Geelong, Australia, the Leisurelink swimming pool was closed for super chlorination, to kill parasites after two cases of cryptosporidiosis were reported.  The parasite can survive in the normal levels of chlorine in public swimming pools.

Professor Peter White of University of NSW, Australia, warned health officials to prepare for a bad year of tummy bug infections Down Under.

Coronavirus MERS update: Man tries to escape! More deaths, Italy’s first case! Filipinos lied to! New bacteria scare!

03 June 2013 (18:43 UTC-07 Tango 02 June 2013)/24 Rajab 1434/13 Khordad 1391/25 Wu-Wu (4th month) 4711

Health officials in Bahrain are denying a report that a MERS infected man fled the country.  Apparently the man from Pakistan was placed under quarantine in Bahrain, after getting sick, but snuck out before test results were in.  Officials did admit that the man was detained at the airport: “The Pakistani national, 55, was transferred on Saturday to the Salmaniya Medical Complex after the customs at the King Fahd Causeway alerted the health authorities who dispatched an ambulance.”

Saudi Arabian news media reporting three new deaths, and a new case of infection.  The three that died had other chronic health problems.  A woman with heart disease is the latest person to be infected with MERS virus.

In Italy, a 45 years old man who returned from Jordan, is infected with MERS.  His symptoms are high fever, cough, and breathing difficulties.

So far, all MERS cases have been directly connected to West Asia (Middle East).  The number of cases should be at 52, with 30 deaths.

Health officials with the government of the Philippines are ignorantly telling families not to worry about their loved ones working in Saudi Arabia: “Filipino workers in Saudi Arabia should be properly informed, educated, and guided about taking care of their health amid the spread of MERS.”-John Leonard Monterona, Philippines Migrante Middle East regional coordinator

The problem with the above statement is that MERS is a brand new virus, and World health officials don’t know how it’s being spread, or how people can protect themselves from it!  It’s only been realized in the past couple of weeks that it is airborne.

Back in Saudi Arabia, reports of an outbreak of Klebsiella bacteria at the Al-Ahsa Obstetrics and Children Hospital.  Health officials say the number of cases are limited, but locals say four children have died.

Norovirus / Tummy Bug update, 27 May 2013: Now number 1 cause of gastroenteritis! Meat good! Another misdiagnosis gone wrong!

In Maryland U.S.A., health officials revealed that on 17 May at least 200 kids attending the Pot Spring Elementary school got sick.  Nine employees also got sick.  Preliminary lab tests blame norovirus.

In Washington U.S.A., weeks later an outbreak continues.  Back on 10 May Longview Elementary school was closed.  Grant County Health District officials have confirmed it’s norovirus, and they’re warning that there are still “…pockets of students in other Moses Lake schools with stomach illnesses.”

In Iowa U.S.A., the Siouxland District Health Department concluded their investigating into what caused about three teachers and 80 students to get sick at the Bryant Elementary School.  They blame norovirus.

A study published in the latest edition of the New England Journal of Medicine says norovirus will soon be the number one cause of gastroenteritis in children.  Rotavirus was the number one cause, but that is on the decline since a vaccine was developed.  There is no vaccine for norovirus.

According to the journal Foodborne Pathogens and Disease, norovirus is now the number one cause for gastroenteritis for children and adults in Canada.   The study says one in eight Canadians will get norovirus every year.   In the United States it’s now one in every six people!

The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reporting that meat based E.Coli (bacteria) caused gastroenteritis is down, by a lot.  An overall drop of 44% from 2000 to 2010.  It’s even better for ground beef (hamburger), a whopper, I mean a whopping 72% decline in E.Coli cases!  The decline is being credited to better raising of beef cows, cleaner handling of meat at the slaughter houses, and better cooking practices by consumers.

In Southampton, Hampshire U.K., a Celebrity Cruises ship docked after a trip to the Mediterranean.  It was revealed that at least 77 passengers and five crew members were sick with gastroenteritis.  The cruise line says from now on passengers will be asked if they’ve had stomach problems within three days prior to the cruise.  Customers can reschedule their cruises.

Norovirus has hit the Royal Lancaster Infirmary in Lancaster U.K.  Visitation in Ward 37 is now restricted.

In Finland, a study published in the Scandinavian Journal of Work, Environment and Health found that ‘open plan’ office work spaces not only result in less productivity, but they’re the main reason why office workers get sick!   Open space office workers take 62% more sick days than office workers who have their own office.  Studies by several U.S. and U.K. universities had similar conclusions.

In Galway, Ireland, a family recounted the death of their four years old daughter and gave a warning.  At first everyone thought she was suffering a bad case of gastroenteritis, because of the symptoms.  She died hours later in her fathers arms, after a doctor said it was just a tummy bug.  Turned out it was  an aggressive type of pneumococcal meningitis that rapidly progressed to septicemia (blood poisoning).  Meningitis can result in flu like/stomach bug like symptoms, but it’s not the flu.  You can visit the privately funded actformeningitis.ie for more info.

False Flag Bio-War? Alabama mystery blamed on mixture of viruses and bacteria!

25 May 2013 (14:16 UTC-07 Tango)/15 Rajab 1434/04 Khordad 1392/16 Ding-Si (4th month) 4711

“The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) and the Houston County Health Department have determined that the cause of a respiratory illness cluster in southeast Alabama was a combination of influenza A, rhinovirus, the virus associated with the common cold, and bacterial pneumonia.”-ADPH press release

False Flag Bio-War? Mystery deaths called “coincidence”, yet infections increasing! Getting sick (or vaccinated?) while pregnant will cause mental problems for the baby!

23 May 2013 (13:55 UTC-07 Tango)/13 Rajab 1434/02 Khordad 1392/14 Ding-Si (4th month) 4711

“At this time, there is no epidemiological link between these patients.”-Alabama Department of Health statement

The mystery illness in Alabama is more mysterious after health officials stated that the age of the people infected range from 20s to 80s, and has now infected a total of ten people: “Since we sent out the alert to providers last night, we have had three additional patients/cases. These patients all have the same symptoms of cough, shortness of breath and ‘something’ on their chest….”-Mary McIntyre, Alabama Department of Public Health

Also, the patients have other health problems, which complicate the diagnostics.

Health officials think this is just a bunch of cases of common colds or flus (first off the term ‘cold’ refers to many different viruses, and second flus have proven not to be ‘common’), and they don’t think this is caused by a “…new or unexpected virus…”

In a study, published in JAMA Psychiatry, historical researchers have found a link between influenza infections in pregnant woman and a nearly four-fold increase in cases of bi-polar disorders in their children.

The study isn’t new, but the release of the data is.  Researchers reviewed a ten year study done by Kaiser Permanente insurance, conducted from 1956-66.  It involves just over 19000 people in California.

Reports are suggesting this study is proof that people should get vaccinated.  A very small percentage of the study group got vaccinated.

However, another study concluded that a fetus can not identify viruses.  Remember that vaccines are viruses, grown in a controlled environment.  If a fetus can not recognize viral RNA, wouldn’t that apply to RNA viruses in vaccines?

Flus are RNA viruses (as are norovirus, MERS, SARS, SFTS),  and it has already been established that vaccines don’t work well on RNA viruses!  (as opposed to DNA viruses)

Previous studies have already linked schizophrenia to influenza viruses.  Is there a correlation between increased human brain function problems and the increased use of flu vaccines?
