Syria’s General Command of the Armed Forces claims they shot down an Israeli plane as it was supporting Islamic extremists with airstrikes against Syrian forces.

It happened at 01:00 hour (1:00 am) in southern Quneitra Province.  Syrian forces also say the shot down an Israeli drone west of Sa’sa’.  Israel has repeatedly atacked Syrian forces in southwest Syria, in support of Islamic extremist groups.

Israeli Defense Forces stated that one of its planes were shot at, but the two Syrian missiles missed.
