“Russia has always been combating terrorism with all its forms, and today we are offering military and technical assistance to Iraq, Syria and other countries which fight terrorism… I believe there is a grave mistake to not coordinate with the Syrian government and army which confront terrorism.”-Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, speech to the United Nations General Assembly in New York City

“In spite of hundreds of UN resolutions related to this issue, Israel continues to violate Palestinian and Syrian human rights and pushes ahead with its repressive practices in Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan.”-Hussam Eddin Ala, Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva

How the U.S.-EU-Saudi-Israeli backed DAIISH (Islamic State) deals with Syrian Christians who don’t follow DAIISH laws.

“It is like going back 1,000 years seeing the barbarity that Christians are having to live under. I think we are dealing with a group which makes Nazism pale in comparison and I think they have lost all respect for human life. Crucifying these people is sending a message and they are using forms of killing which they believe have been sanctioned….”-Patrick Sookhdeo, Barnabas Fund

Islamic State, aka DAIISH (DA for al-DawlA, I for al-Islamiya, I for al-Iraq, SH al-SHam [al-Sham = Syria])

Aleppo Governorate:  Syrian Arab Army and Air Force continue battles with U.S.-EU-Saudi-Israeli backed DAIISH (Islamic State) and Jabhat al-Nusra (Nusra Front) insurgents.  Battles continued for control of the Syrian Air Force Academy (apparently DAIISH has surrounded the Academy) and  al-Nairab Airport and Kweres (Quweires) airbase.     YPG (Kurdish People’s Protection Units) observed convoys of military supplies for insurgents operating in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, coming directly from the military of NATO member Turkey: The Turkish state has formed an alliance with Al-Nusra and Ahrar Al-Sham through the Sultan Murat and Sultan Fatih brigades they formed from Turkmens. We identified munitions sent to them by Turkey several days ago.  …they had blocked our roads leading from Aleppo to Efrîn. For the past two days, the insurgents joined by Turkmens are directing attacks on our neighborhood with the technical and military support they receive from Turkey.   ….Some recent media reports claim that YPG forces have blocked the road leading to Aleppo…..It is not us but the presence of the insurgents that block the road. We have not made any attempts against that road for 4-5 years now. The only road leading to Aleppo is being blocked by the attacks of the insurgents.”-General Rezan Rojhat, YPG Aleppo front

Damascus (Rif Dimashq) area: Damascus City police reported an artillery mortar round impacted near the Dar al-Shefaa hospital, two people killed five wounded.  Syrian Arab Army and Air Force liberation operations continued across the area including many farmlands.   The Syrian government signed a four years deal with China’s Huawei Technologies to expand Syria’s telecommunications industry.

Hama Governorate:  Syrian Arab Army and Air Force report continued battles with DAIISH and Nusra Front.

Hasakah Governorate: Fierce battles continue between DAIISH and YPG.  DAIISH is trying to capture Hasaka city, which is being defended on the ground by YPG and from the air by Syrian Arab Army Air Force.  The UN World Food Program distributed more than 63-thousand food items to refugees in Hasaka, Qamishli and Ra’as al-Ain cities.  That’s almost 10-thousand more than what was distributed in 2015.

Homs Governorate:  Syrian Arab Army Air Force bombed a convoy of insurgent vehicles which included fuel trucks that came from U.S. ‘controlled’ Iraq.  There were numerous airstrikes across the governorate.
