The Iraqi government is receiving five Russian Suchoi (Sukhoi) 25 Frogfoot tank killing ground attack aircraft, as well as Su-30 fighters and Mil 28 Havoc and 35 Hind attack helicopters.

According to news reports from other countries, including U.S. allies, the Su-25 and Su-30 are being brought in because the Obama regime apparently reneged on a deal to sell F-16s to Iraq.

Iraqi government sources say they’ve become frustrated with the U.S. F-16 deal because delivery of the Falcon/Viper has been continuously delayed, so now they’re turning to Russia and Belarus.

Iraq just signed a $500-million USD deal with Russia and Belarus to buy used military planes.  Reports say Russian air force advisors are already in-country training up Iraqi pilots to fly the Suchois and Mils.
