A 61 years old teacher at Corpus Christi Catholic College (a high school for students aged 11 to 16 years) in United Kingdom was stabbed to death by a 15 years old student.

There have been no details about how the stabbing took place, but the 15 years old suspect is now in jail.   The stabbing apparently happened in front of many witnesses.

The United Kingdom has been enacting progressively stricter anti-gun laws since 1968, the most recent in 2012. Private ownership of automatic weapons banned, semi-auto assault type weapons banned, pistols banned! Even toy (“imitation”) guns are banned! The only guns that can be legally owned are shotguns or any barreled weapon not on the banned list (basically single shot rifles), and for that you need a gun permit and must register each gun.

None of that prevents deaths by stabbing!
