While Germany abstained from voting on UNSCR 1973, it is going to help the U.S. bomb Libya anyway.

The German Luftwaffe will replace USAF/NATO units in Afghanistan, so those  units can be used against Libya.

Chancellor Angela Merkel specifically mentioned replacing NATO AWACS units.
